Not much of a debate because I totally agree. Even if you go with Jaime dying (in whatever way), there are better possibilities than Tormund in the world.

i don’t know if this has been debated before(probably has), but can we talk about how the reasons as to why some people wanted brienne with tormund were all pretty much deeply misogynistic

Here's PART TWO of that submission list:

that shows NCW's episode has been changed to ep 2. The ep it should have been all along imo because it was the only good episode of the whole season, not to mention his most screentime this season *and* being named in part after his own fucking character... But I'm preaching to the choir lol.

@frazzledsoul also confirmed my own recollection that it was a Gold Derby editor who noted the changed episode. So I took screenshots for future reference:

His comment first confirming the switch, and his bio indicating this guy knows what he's talking about. (??? like for real? not just the managing editor of GD, but maybe he was one of the people who rang Nik up and was like dude, whatchu smokin when he submitted ep 5?)

Anyway. That's as far as I got, @glorybeat. Good enough for me. I have no idea why the twincesters are casting doubt on this now, or why they do anything they do really. They ship toxic twincest *fervently* ffs. That's a no from me, dawg.

Twincest shippers keep spreading around that it was just a false rumour that nikolaj changed his emmy submission episode, they really can't accept that nikolaj did that.

Interesting. Not surprising they're doing that tbh. I don't put anything past them, which is why I have like 98% of them blocked. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Idk about the episode submission. I can't even remember exactly when we heard it had been changed, only that it was reported from the Gold Derby editor himself? Does anyone remember that?

A quick Google search just now revealed two contradictory things:

The AwardsWatch site confirms his final submission as ep. 2.

But this list on Gold Derby says ep 5 still??

I'm on my phone with awkward/limited search capacity, so who knows if either of those are even the correct and/or latest versions of the list on those websites.

Can anyone else confirm further or shed some light why this is even a question again??
