Global Action Project

For one of our weekly readings, we had to check out the Global Action Project website. http://global-action.org/ Global Action Project is an organization in New York City that works with marginalized youth, giving them a place to speak out against injustice that they have experienced or seen in their city. The youth create short films about a wide variety of topics including bullying and violence, school issues, discrimination and more.

Global Action Project also has free resources for anyone who wants to work with youth and media. A description of their program can be found on the Curriculum page. All you have to do is sign up for access to it.
