Was thinking about that vid actually and wanted to share it just in case anyone needed it! It focuses on legitimately obtaining Pokemon, but has some really useful and obscure tidbits that you may have forgotten about, and will be lost to time once the shop goes down.

Such as:

> PokéBank will become free to use once the eShop goes down, HOWEVER. PokéTransporter will NOT be available to anyone who decides to wait until PokéBank is free if they haven't downloaded it/subbed to Bank previously. Good news is, a Bank subscription is only $5 and even though you can't add funds with a credit card or eShop card at this point, there's still a way to link funds using your Nintendo account (vid goes over this detail!)

> Obtaining the Dream Radar Therian forms of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus (also grants them their Hidden Abilities)

I AM TELLING YOU ABOUT MY OCS (please have a seat if you’d like to hear)

Today I’m gonna yap about Edger-Eulalius Glith of Lumberville, because he’s the OC that means the most to me

By that I mean, Edgar was the first character whom, while working on, I took a step back and said, “What if I thought about this critically instead of slapping whatever I think would be cool into his story?” And then I did

I first started working on him in fifth grade, a little after I got into the band Creature Feature (which is still one of my favourites to this day). A lot of their music inspired the characters and world of Lumberville, Such Horrible Things and A Feast for the Worms being the springboards for Edgar, specifically

But because I had just started thinking critically about character making, and my introduction to creative writing was 2016 Creepypasta, said characters of mine were… a bit lacking. For example, originally, Edgar was just a guy who killed people; was in a padded room (yikes, younger me); and had blood red hair (that was naturally that colour). Also he was originally named “Terrance” ‘cuz I just named my OCs whatever popped into my head at the time

Nowadays, Edgar is a deeply troubled young man, who is both sympathized with and held responsible for his actions (which is arson instead of direct stabbings, because no way in hell is a scrawny little fourteen year old taking down full grown adults in a lumbering town). I’ve learned more about mental illness (no part in thanks to my own), so he’s FAR better written when it comes to his mental health. His hair is still a little unnatural in colour (being more of a brown-red), but I couldn’t resist the call of The Red Hair, so I compromised

Also, I’ve learned how to design historical costumes that aren’t just “uhhhh waistcoats are Victorian, right?”

Anyway, this post was supposed to be me talking about his story, but uh… Well I wasn’t kidding when I said that he means a lot to me. I’ve put a lot of myself into him and, by doing so, have grown as a person. Actually, for a good little bit there, he was more of a vent character than a story character. Thankfully I’ve recovered from the dark point in my life that made me project on him so heavily (and found alternative coping mechanisms), so Lumberville won’t be missing their local gayass

I’m very proud of how far I’ve come, and how far he’s come

My first game bug I've ever experienced was when I was playing Pokémon Yellow. I was about to enter the bug forest to Pewter City, when I decided to check out the cutable tree. I some how glithed through it an turned off my game in a panic. I turned it back on and I was at my previous save point at the pokecenter. I decided to check my items and pokémon when I noticed that Pikachu now knew seismic toss. Dafuq? Well guess how I beat Brock. I don't know how it happened and I was never able to recreate that same bug again. Oh well. Makes for a funny memory.

hes got a very gruff personality, and is basically your typical bounty hunter-type character. i was considering tahto/kajo from your finnish names list, but they didnt quite click </3

Hey that's awesome, it makes me really glad to hear you considered those! Sometimes things just don't click, that's normal!

Here's some other suggestions! Some of them are also finnish in origin :) it's the ones that are darkened/accentuated

Ronan, Grav, Garron/Garren, Kulku, Taaja, Pierce, Morris, Repo, Glithe, Jackson, Ravan, Herron, Polku, Tulo, Saalis

Kulku (an adjusted word - to roam, to pass)

Taaja (an add on word for when something is far off and far away)

Polku (path)

Tulo (to arrive)

Saalis (General word for the catch of something, can be used for hunting, bounty, treasure and so on)

Ok so idk how to start it. Ig ill start with voices

I really like new Charlies voice and her character changes in general. She acts and sounds like a disney princess, but with swears. Shes not just some naive little girl now, SHES A DISNEY PRINCESS WHO CAN SWEAR :DDD

Ok is it just me or Angels voice sound like- exact same like in the pilot? Maybe its just me. But i actually like it! Idk what else to say srry

Ok, Alastor- u may not be agree with me but i dont like his new laugh. Everything else in the voice is okay but i just always really liked og Alastors laugh and now its kinda meh, im sorry

Adam is a freaking bastard n i dont like him as a character, but his voice is AMAZING, especially when he sings (his voice was literally made for metal songs), n its really befitting his character (also his little song was amazing too, my 2nd fav of all songs so far)

Sir Pentious' voice situation is kinda the same as Alastors. Im okay with it but i like the original one more.

I really like Velvettes voice its really befitting her! Well gotta say everyone from VVV have awesome voices that really befitting their characters.

Valentino (idk if i spelled his name correctly)--- as with Adam, I dont like his character (fuck abusive partners), but his voice is cool, its exactly how i expected him to sound like. The only thing i didnt expect is his accent which goes like: "UngRRRateful whoRRRe!! and omg... Vox....... Yk why i saved him for last? Cuz im gonna talk bout him ALOT. I already really loved his voice when i first heard it in the trailer, but when he appeared on screen I JUST FEEL IN LOVE. Not only his voice by itself is amazing, BUT ITS ALSO BECOMES STATIC N GLITHES WHEN HES ANGRY❗❗

I WAS SO WORRIED WHEN IN TRAILER WE DIDNT HEAR HIS VOICE HAVING TV STATIC EFFECTS, BUT HE ACTUALLY DO!!! IM SO HAPPY ABT THAT!! AND OMG HIS CHARACTER IN GENERAL-- HES LITERALLY MY FAV CHARACTER SO FAR. I LOVE HIM WITH EVERY LITTLE PIECE OF MY HEART!! IF HE WONT BECOME A TUMBLR SEXYMAN I WILL BE FUCKING MAD.

ALSO DIDJA LISTEN TO HIS AND ALASTORS SONG IN EP 2??????? ITS FUCKING AMAZINGDD, THE BEST SONG SO FAR, ITS MADE LIKE A TV PROGRAMM IN THE BEGINNING N DOESNT EVEN HAVE RHYMES IN SOME PLACES AND THAT IS SOO COOL, IT MAKES IT ALL LOOK SO COOL N SPECIAL!!! LOOK AT SOME SCREENSHOTS OF IT!!!!!!!
