This Book Is Full of Lies — chapter 13
“Your self denial is so precious,” Savathûn laughs, her tone like fragrant velvet, wrapping around Ór’s mind until it suffocates. “But I understand. It’s a hard realisation, that all this time you’ve been but a passenger in your own head… I mean, what are your friends going to think?”

I used artificial intelligence to create the way I imagine the characters in #ThePlatedPrisonerj by author #RavenKennedy, I made the harem king. Some of them don't have much description so it was just imagination.
the first two are main and supporting characters, Auren and Rissa.
the three in the second row are Polly, Rush (the only male courtier within the harem) and Mist
the last three are characters who are rarely mentioned and have little detailed characteristics. the first in the third row is Gia, in the book "Gleam'' she is mentioned as a petite woman with a thin body and a fairy-like appearance. the second is Isis, she is described as curvy with black hair. and the third is mentioned just like a red-haired woman, she has no name.
I imagine them all wearing clothes with the king's golden details, but I created them based on the book Gleam, the third book in the saga, when they are in the kingdom of King Ravinger.
~~pt/br~~

⚘ @goesblind // cont.
It is you who should accept my gratitude. Without your sacrifices, our work could not be done.
Oh, but she beamed at that. Not with the amber light of the sun, nor the calcified glint of the moon, but like some star-spotted bloom unfurling only in darkness, offering up its pale heart not to leach, but to bleed freely into the soil.
His voice was one that doubtless thundered through the hunt’s blood-drenched carnage. Rough as a cat’s barbed tongue, it softened now in the dim sanctuary of the library, in the presence of a saint. Anaemic fingers tensed against the spine of the songbook, leather ridged beneath her touch. Anri lowered her gaze, feeling the warmth on her cheeks deepen to a steady burn. His words stretched enormous in her mind. Slow and creeping, a thing with roots. Could it be true? That her meek offerings – her viscous unraveling, her body given over piece by piece to the great machine of the hunt – stood equal to the horrors he faced?
Anri thought of the orphans, of how their thin, trembling hands reached for her when nightmares took them in their teeth and threatened to shake them dead. How their small voices cracked as they sang for her, for themselves, for the dead, for the blood. She thought of their tear-wet faces and their hunger – not just for bread but for warmth, for touch, for the faraway promise of safety. She gave what she could. To them, to the church. How could such earthly gifts weigh against the noble work of hunters, those who waded waist-deep through rivers of gore?
At last, her voice found shape, small and unadorned:
“My name is Anri.”
It felt too simple, too soft for the moment, for the towering figure before her. A bastion against the blood-slick terror, broad-shouldered, axe-bearing, his trick weapon gleaming in its straps like a sentient, hungry thing – and still, he smiled at her, the thatch of his beard twisted in the ink-stained light.
Summoning what courage she could, she let her gaze climb his vastness, meeting and holding the weight of his eyes.
Hush pooled around them, thick as wax, before she ventured:
“And… may I ask yours? Forgive me, Father. I know of you only from whispers.”
I would sooner hear it from your own lips. The thought trembled within her, the unspoken words thrumming in her chest. Her rabbit-soft gaze flitted downward once more, to huddle shyly on the floor.

“The fact that he’s so unworried, worries me. It seems like a weakness, if I’m honest. The intelligent are always considering the what-ifs, the could-happens. Our minds a constant spin of possibilities and outcomes. If you don’t worry, you’re either a fool or you’ve been fooled.”
