Because 1 year ago today Glee finished and I wrote this thing up on facebook and I realized I never posted it here so here is ‪#‎gleetome‬

Before tonight's episode airs and I'm a complete mess, I wanted to share what glee means to me. Glee was my first TV show that I watched from start to finish and my first real introduction to fandom. Because of glee I am so much more open to different people, whether they are a different race, sexual orientation, or are just into different things. I know this show has had its down sides and could be on the wrong side of the issues, but once again it showed me that there is more than one side of the story. I have met so many different people whether it be in real life or online, and without these people I would not be who I am today. Glee is about opening yourself up to joy and while it wasn't always joyful, it showed me that you can over come that sorrow and come out on the other side better than ever. Glee allowed me to be able to connect to many characters on emotional levels. Sure I have always connected with characters on TV, movies, books,etc but never before have I been so attached and connected to these characters. I saw parts of myself in every single character that graced the screen. These characters became my best friends, and as weird as that sounds, I'm going to miss these characters just like I miss my college friends. Sure I'll see the actors in new roles and chapters but they will never be the same. I realize this is uber long and if you stuck around to read my verbal vomit, I thank you. I just have a lot of feelings and stuff. Love you all!

Thank you Glee for making me feel like I had something to look forward to when I had nothing. Thank you Rachel Berry for showing me my dreams aren't ridiculous or unachievable. Thank you Kurt for showing me it's actually okay to be myself. Thank you Sam, Quinn, Puck, Tina, Artie, Mercedes, Sue, Blain, Santana, Britney, Mike, Mr Shu, Emma, Becky and all the other characters that have meant so much to me over the last 6 years. But most importantly, THANK YOU Finn Hudson, for simply being the friend that stood up for the kids who didn't have the strength to stand up for themselves. I will miss these characters, their stories and the hour I got to spend watching them. I truly loved glee. I looked forward to it every week, it made me laugh, and made me cry, but most of all it made a difference in getting through the brunt of my teenage years. I grew up with glee, and it is truly amazing to watch these characters grow along with us and see where they went. It created a sense of family, fun, love, laughter, and even inspired us and showed us how they managed their grief after they lost one of their own. #Gleetome

Soo, what is Glee to me. Glee, I can tell, is one of the best shows I ever seen. I start to watch it 3 years ago and now there are still times that i listen to the songs and the scenes they had made in the beginning. I really love it (this is one of my favourite songs from the show, of course).

Glee is a show that is going to be remembered by the generations, I’m sure of it. It shows not only a group of teens in a high school, but also shows the reality. Almost all around the world there are pregnant teenagers or kids in wheelchairs who are discriminated by the other people, there are gays and lesbians who are scared to show themselves to the world because of the world. There are a lot of shows who demontrate diffrent things like these but I think Glee is the only show who present these things together. 

Glee taught me to accept the other people who are different because they only look different outside but they are like me and you. Maybe they like the same kind of music or movies, maybe they see the world just like us. They are not so different.

Glee gave me good music. Music that everyone is going to like and everyone will appreciate. Songs which are evergreens and that are being listened by a lot of people then and now, songs which are hits in the same time. The crew made songs which I had listened only in the originals to sound really different to me.

I miss Cory. I do miss him a lot. And I’m just a fan. I don’t want to think what feel the people who had been working with him so much time. I think he was one of the best parts in Glee.

I love Glee. I will always love it. This show is a part of my life and it’ll always be.
