Zum Einklang, zur Freude, um in Ruhe zu verweilen und doch sind sie in ständiger Bewegung. Gemeinsam mit den großen Gestaltern der 7 Meere prägen sie die unvergleichliche Farbe unseres Planeten. Fernab von all dem thronen die mit Schnee angezuckerten, majestätischen Berge im ewigen Eis.“

Ich sah kleine Schattenspiele, als ich ein paar Murmeln in meiner Hand hielt. „Irgendwie sind sie ja auch kleine Planeten, die im tiefen Weltall funkeln.“ Im Schatten der Bäume lagen noch weitere bezaubernde Farbwelten verborgen. „Einzigartigkeit in Vollendung!“, fand ich in tiefer Anerkennung ihrer faszinierenden Eleganz.

„Manchmal gestalte ich bunte Glasperlen auf meine eigenen Fotos als Teil meiner künstlerischen Arbeit. Dadurch erreiche ich eine räumliche Tiefe, die bei einer klassischen Darstellung verloren gehen kann. Es entsteht eine Lebendigkeit eines laufenden Bildes, wie die ersten Kinofilme früher ja einmal genannt wurden.“ Die kleinen Mosaike leuchteten in den zauberhaftesten Tönen, immer wenn die Sonnenstrahlen sie berührten.

„Kannst Du Dich an diese süße kleine Schachtel erinnern, die Du als Kind hattest, gesammelt mit all Deinen besonderen Schätzen?“, fragte mich ein guter Freund einmal. „Natürlich Murmeln. Aber auch Steine, die ich zunächst in meiner Hose aufbewahrt habe.“, als wäre gerade eine Verbindung der Gegenwart mit der Vergangenheit entstanden.

In meinem eigenen Gedächtnis lagen die Jugendromane von Jules Verne und Alexandre Dumas verborgen. Doch fand ich meine eigenen Abenteuer auf meinen Reisen. Selten spannender, aber betörend. „Einige Fotos zur Erinnerung, verbunden mit vielen Worten. Etwas Geld, meist aus dem Urlaub, als es noch verschiedene Währungen in Europa gab.“, erzählte mein Freund weiter.

„Und Briefe.“, antwortete ich.

Aber das ist eine andere Geschichte.

とも . Two neckpieces glass, thread, brass, copper 2019 . My flatmate found a glass marble from the ground and brought it for me. I looked trough a blue glass marble. The world was upsidedown. I thought how my own world has been thrown upsidedown as well, since going to Japan. I have talked to unbelievably many people, considering back in Finland i would go days and days not talking with anybody, even at school. I talked to the flatmate and made friends with them which is rare of me. As looking trough the blue marble, the colour reminded me of another friend i made during my stay in Japan, so i also dedicate these pieces for her. Maybe this symbolises the friendships i managed to tie in Japan and the upsidedowness of it all. .
