I'm a fan of everything I've read by glassincisor, but I'm especially a big fan of Safe Room, a Daan/Marcoh oneshot. There is also a continuation, Under my skin, which I really enjoyed as well. These were both some of the fics that got me really into daarcoh and Safe Room is probably the funger fic I've read the most times over.

Pied Piper made me cry the first time I read it. It's a post-Termina fic about Daan with Disco Elysium influences. It really captures the grit and despair of funger and the way the other characters' souls are utilized is so creative and heartwrenching.

Hold on a little longer is a Karin/Abella fic where Karin is close to becoming the valkyrie. I'm not as loud about it as I am with daarin, but karin/abella is a ship I really love and stories that go in depth about Karin's pov and moonscorching always make me a little crazy.

Glass Prison Cell is about Cahara before the player finds him in the dungeon. I know I normally only talk about Termina, but the first game has a special place in my heart, particularly Cahara, and I love this little character study of him.

They're not exactly fics, but there are some fan comics I'm a really huge fan of too. This one is about Karin facing Pocketdaan and reminiscing on the Daan she knew before. This one is about Karin accidentally discovering Daan has a Sylvian engraving from his youth. Also this one about the interaction where Levi stands up to Caligura before he dies.

These are my very favorites that I can think of off the top of my head, I hope that helps!

After Termina, Daan spends the better part of three years glueing the fragments of his former life back together, perhaps as divine punishment for sticking his nose into bullshit that frankly didn’t concern him. However the news that Marcoh, his former friend and ally, is in deep shit with the mob forces Daan to reconsider his aggressively incurious stance.
