Why the Move

👗Plus size beauty blogging was a very fun and empowering hobby for me during the years I had the time to do it. And my clothes & accessories will always be an important aspect of my creative expression.

📸🤳📽️ But I have a lot of other things I am doing these days, and the nature of fashion blogging has changed drastically in the past few years, now that video reigns supreme instead of static pictures.

🌛🌝🌜I am taking time to post here pretty frequently though, and my fashion aesthetic is, in part, a reflection of my spiritual practice and identity. I mean, it's right there in the title of the beauty blog account: Glam Witch Style—my glamour witch styling is part of my self expression as a modern pagan UU solitary eclectic witch.

🤳 So from now on, my witchy-librarian-retro fashion & plus size beauty posts will go up on this account. The last time my hair was not dyed at all was in ninth grade 🙂 The photo on the left is from the last day of school that year 😎 And I think with my latest haircut and color, I am back to that hair color 😊 Is that what my natural hair color would be now? I don't think so, because it seems my roots are darker...but who knows? With sunlight and as it grew out it is hard to tell what shade it would take. Cross-posting from my beauty blog @glamwitchstyle because it works here too: my 1990s Theme Outfit was "90's Goth Witch" 🌚 Complete with tshirt of the #hocuspocus witches that says "Squad" 🤣 #Goth #90sGoth #GothWitch I can't wait to wear my #witchhat somewhere for real. It's so cute and I love it. I also love this plaid pleated A-line mini skirt. That is a style that, to my kind, will always look cute 😊 And of course the fishnets already have a run in them but I'll make it work for future costumes until the things fall apart. What's funny is that back in the 90s when Goth was popular (and still is? In different iterations each decade: goth in 80/90s, emo for 00/10s, and "witchcore" or "dark Cottagecore" or "dark academiacore" nowadays), it wasn't my style. Now that I FINALLY put up a full length mirror is my study/boudoir, and now that I'm going out more often, I am posting at @glamwitchstyle more regularly again! My style sense is best described as "glamour witch" so that is where the blog got its name. It's part curvy cottagecore cute, part vixen goddess, part enchanting witch aesthetic. My Christmas Dinner outfit had an Ugly Christmas Sweater with removable stockings and jingle bell antlers. (My nephews were extremely puzzled by my completely blank make up less face. Name Change: Glam Witch Style by Bridget Eileen

I’ve switched the name of my beauty blogging account to “Glam Witch Style by Bridget Eileen.” This new name is a better representation of my eclectic style. 

Glam Witch Style by Bridget Eileen started in 2015 as "Vintage Bridge." Throughout the years I've featured simple OOTD posts in various eclectic styles: from plus size pinup to curvy cottagecore to body positive glamorous witch and many aesthetics in between.
