               I think we’ve interacted a couple of times on one of my other blogs?? definitely on my Meg when she was active lmao but I really love your Herc! I haven’t seen too much to go off in terms of your writing && that I have I can’t remember seeing as I’ve had exams since then ( ouch ) but I really like the way you’ve adapted him into a modern world/verse && still managed to keep him authentic && true to his character. So keep up the awesome work && we need to interact soon!

♥ -What does ‘love’ mean to them?

This by far is one of the most complicated subjects to Naveen. He does know the line between feelings of romance and lust and then truly being in love. However, he has never been truly in love and he wonders if he will ever be. Love to him is an emotion, a twist in his stomach, a flutter in his chest. It’s feeling secure being with someone even if nothing else is for certain. It’s sacrifice, it’s dedication, it’s an understanding of another person and working together and improving each other. 

♠ - What are they afraid of?

Going through life and realizing that there could have been more that he could have done and dies with regret. Never finding somewhere he belongs and truly being worthless. 

❄ -  Favorite season and why?

He loves summer because it feels like the year is at it’s peak full of life and yet anything could happen. Almost every day is beautiful and full of color and possibility and he loves that.

❥: a childhood memory  

   The dusk light stretched wide across the coastline. Dying brown grass, dark under a    thick sky that ran across the pointed tips of steadily swaying trees. A waning sunlight   suffused the spaces between, dropped down into the shadows milling about the rocky   slopes that arched down into the sea. The angry ripple in the water extended out along   the c u r v i n g spine of the earth to be lost on the arch of the horizon she could not see   beyond. Her view consisted mainly of the trees beyond the slick shoreline, thick thrush   s h o o t i n g white-tipped, thin, and wistful out in some places.

                  It would be a nice scenery to paint. Not in water colors, Megara decided angrily,                  asshe upturned a boot she had stripped from her left foot, emptying it of the SEA                  waterthat logged it down.

     Beyond her shoulders, her sister Pyrrha came dark and soaked out of the water like     ᴠᴇɴᴜs. Her pretty face was wan, except where a chill had stained the uppermost part     of her cheekbones and FLUSHED them rosy. Or perhaps it was embarrassment that      colored her. She’d already noticed that her sister was ignoring her, though Meg would      be amazed that her powers of deduction were suddenly working given what had just      transpired          

                           “It’s not my fault,” the younger girl whinged, as if she had heard. Sulking,                           she  s t o m p e d  around to Meg’s front so that her sister’s back was no                           longer to her. Followed it with; “How could I have known what he was? I                           thought mercreatures only drowned sailers.”

               ❝Be still ❞

        The words were as sharp and CRISP as a slap. She has to go looking for a          wellspring of calm beyond the lingering  P A N I C  she’d felt seeing Pyrrha         d r a g g e d through the shallows. Thebes would have been short a daughter         had not Pyrrha’s shape shifting lover failed to drag her into deeper waters.

                Upset at being yelled at and the stress of her flirtation with demise,                her sister’s lip   q   u   i   v   e   r   e   d   and she started to cry. 

                Megara watched her all unimpressed, pointedly emptying more sea from her                other boot into the grass at the girl’s feet. She’d already gotten all she cared to                of waterworks of any ilk for the day. 

   By the time her dredged footwear was back in place, Pyrrha had calmed down from   damp  s o b bing to a subdued sniffle. Megara took hold of her upper arm and began    towing her sister up the slopes towards the city walls, away from the waterline.

                   “Please don’t tell father about this,” Pyrrha whispered, contrite finally.

        Megara threw her a glance and loosed a sigh heavy with surrender. She shook        her fingers free of her sister’s wrist and instead tucked the girl against her side.                                                                                       ❝Yes, let’s not.  ❞

                      The gods knew Creon had enough already to worry about.                              Meg KICKED the merman’s carcass back into the sea.

✪ Critique they have about others

achilles doesn’t understand peoples’ automatic reverence/deference to authority: just because someone has a fancy title or a shiny badge doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be held to the same moral standards as everyone else, and it doesn’t mean they should be left unquestioned when they make a poor judgment call (looks directly at agamemnon and squints). in that sense, achilles is very much a “fuck authority” kind of person – where most people automatically give respect to authority figures without question, achilles is much more hesitant and skeptical. he doesn’t like to give his respect where he doesn’t know the person deserves it in the first place.
