Continuing on with distribution block and focusing on Pass backs. This is a topic that’s highly undervalued for so many goalkeepers. We started with a spacial awareness game and focused on remaining calm to find the open player. Progressed to passing technique and opening up on the back foot. Added in a shoulder check by calling the coloured cone held up by player on opposite side and finally added some pressure on first touch. Being calm under pressure and being able to help your team maintain possession of the ball will make you a valuable member of the back line.
