giyu walked by y/n and shinobu who were in a conversation, shinobu whispered to y/n.

“This might be your only chance. I would take it.”

y/n blushed and nodded, she sighed and walked up to tomioka and tapped his shoulder. he just looked at her with no expression.

“Giyu you don’t have to say anything but I just wanted you to know that I’ve loved you for so long now. But I’ve never been able to form a real conversation with you, until now. You don’t have to return my feelings but I just. Needed you to know.”

she avoided eye contact as he looked directly not her eyes, y/n was about to walk away but giyu’s voice stopped her.

“Y/n.”

y/n turned back to face him he had small tears in his eyes as he told her.

“I can’t love you how you want me to.”

tomioka tried his best to not let those small tears fall, and they never did. y/n smiled a little as she wanted to cry. her smile was wobbly and faint.

he placed a hand on her shoulder and walked away quickly to avoid crying in front of her, he loved her too. but he didn’t want to lose another person he loved. two was enough for him.

y/n went into her room closing the door behind her and shedding tears that held up until she let her guard down.

obanai hasn't cut her hair since muzan was killed.   readjusting to a new normal has pushed that far down on her list of priorities,  mind too occupied by learning how to live without the weight of the world on her shoulders.   even when it finally becomes a problem,  she finds herself hesitating when putting the scissors up to her face,  cold metal resting on her skin.   eyesight so far gone,  cutting at it haphazardly like she had before has become a more daunting task,  even with kaburamaru trying to guide her.

a moment passes,  and she considers her options,  a slow sift through potential solutions before hesitantly settling on one.   giyū could help.   the idea of someone else cutting her hair still makes her pause.   she hasn't let anyone touch her hair in years,  having never grown from the habit of handling it herself.   but she trusts him,  more than she's trusted anyone in a while,  and maybe that trust makes her want to try.   with that in mind,  she tucks the scissors away into her pocket,  and makes her way to him.   and he's exactly where she expects him to be;  he's never out of reach these days.

" giyū? "   her voice comes uncharacteristically quiet,  arms crossed over her chest defensively.   she knows it's silly to be so tense over something so simple,  but that scared twelve year old with a knife being dragged across her face still has a home in her,  pushing those fears back to the surface.   she breathes in,  it's fine, i'm fine, " my hair is getting too long.   can you cut it for me? "

omg hi friends! 💗

I'm still keeping this blog archived, but I wanted to stop by and say hello. I hope everyone is doing swell!

I've been busy with work but if you keep up with me on ao3, you know I've been writing here and there! they unfortunately laid off two of my coworkers on my direct team, leaving me as the sole engineer in our department, so I'm pretty stressed/bummed at work, but just trying to take it day by day. I try to find little pockets of my life to sit down and write, though it's been harder to do that as of late. But that's okay!

I've also been on a bit of a health journey that's been going well so far! I'm eating cleaner, moving around more, and I'm just taking better care of myself.

my bf and I are extremely close to finishing up our Pokemon card collection (scarlet & violet 151), hoping we can find the rest of the cards (for a good deal) at any of the upcoming card shows we're planning to attend.

I'm currently obsessed with Chappell Roan and if you haven't listened to her yet DO IT NOW. she's INCREDIBLE, an absolute ICON.

I'm watching the new season of Demon Slayer and Tanjiro is literally the cutest, most precious boy who must be protected at all costs. Also, a fire has been awakened inside me for Giyu and Sanemi, I've been having lots of THOUGHTS about them. Tengen and his wives are still so fine and I want to be sandwiched between all four of them please.

I'm slowly but surely making my way through my Persona 5 Royal playthrough, and I have to say that gun daddy Iwai is heavy on my mind, and knowing that Kaiji Tang (Gojo and Sanemi's English dub) voices him only makes him hotter.

last but not least, Nanami is still the love of my life and I've finally started writing this series I've been planning for nearly a year now, so I'm pretty excited to do that (whenever I have the time!)

ANYWAYS, if you made it this far into my longwinded update, I love you and I miss you! sending you the best vibes ever. 💗

I know demon slayer wasn't on the list, but once i saw your icon i knew instantly i had to make . a customizable giyu reaction image ? i left his hand empty so you can put in whatever emoji or lil image you want!! i made a couple examples lol. i hope you like it even though it's a bit off the assignment !!! happy holidays!!! :3

I'm actually surprised at the new episode. I'd think they make that scene of Mitsuri cutting through the lightning more "Ufotable unlimited budget" style but it didn't really stand out as much as the iconic gyutaroxtengen or giyu x rui scenes in terms of colours (contrast/vibrance/intensity maybe?) and animation. Not that it wasn't good though, I guess it's hard to keep up with the crazy animation standards

I find the mist in the last episode more stunning and beautifully animated, which may actually be smart coz it shows that great animation doesnt always have to be intense fast paced scenes with swords clashing, it can be something elegant and subtle like mist.
