Another GREAT day. Thank you to everyone that helped and donated. This was the first trip of 2020 of helping those in need at Skidrow in Downtown Los Angeles. . It's an amazing thing when your vehicle/s begins to get recognized just driving onto a certain street by people you have been able to help or just simply have a conversation with in the past. It's always the little things that some of us take for granted that can make the BIGGEST difference to others. . Last year was an AMAZING start. We were able to make regular monthly trips. Thank you to everyone that has helped and/or donated in the past. . We've been able to purchase 300 meals from McDonald's to feed homeless on one trip. Have had food donations for a different trip. Donated food to the LA Food Bank as well. Purchased food from a local small mom and pop establishment to feed the homeless, which was great as we were able to help 2 causes. And my favorite trip which was right after Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving. That was an AMAZING night with friends that when asked to bring extra food to donate THEY OVER DELIVERED on the request! The next morning the extra food was stored into plates and hand delivered to about 100 people! What a PERFECT way to celebrate Thanksgiving and being thankful! . Today's trip was all about the cold weather coming. We were able to collect, socks, shoes, clothing, underwear, pillows but most importantly blankets. . Next trip want to do hygiene kits which will include soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Q tips, nail clippers, deodorant, baby wipes, etc. If you have anything to donate please let me know. Thank you to everyone that came by for our first annual FRIENDSgiving event, it was a HUGE success! . Apologies for those that left earlier and were not in the picture. The party went longer than expected and actually ended up shutting the location down as security wanted to go home LoL. . The bonds, relationships, conversations and possible business opportunities was AMAZING! . The way the group was able to discuss as an open forum on helping each other with current wants, needs and issues to succeed was one of my favorite parts. That's what you call MASTERMINDING! . THANK YOU to everyone for OVER DELIVERING on my request of bringing food and donations! . The amount of food that was brought and left over was OVERWHELMING! It has already been divided into single serve containers, warmed up and delivered to homeless families on SkidRow. That's what Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving is all about, giving back to others! . Several bags of clothing and blankets were also collected. Which also went to people in need. With winter months around the corner, they were very well received! Have already begun collecting again for the next drop. Typically try to go at least once to SkidRow with donations. If you have anything to donate please reach out to me and I'd be more than happy to pick it up and delivery it personally. . Again I would like to sincerely say thank you to everyone that came and donated. I was overwhelmed with the turn out, items and the quality is people that also genuinely wanted to give back to others. I want to personally thank my good friend and business partner Juan for all of he's help and work ethic, along with my better half and the only reason most people deal with me, because they just love her so much more Elena (LoL, no but seriously) for helping organize ther event as well as with clean up afterwards.
