conrad was hopeful that when he returned to his hometown for the holidays, he'd find answers to the things (and people) he left behind in the process. what he didn't expect to find was his ex girlfriend in the grocery store with a kid that looked exactly like he did as a child. instead of approaching them, he panicked and abandoned his shopping cart, only to find himself on her doorstep several hours later. he knocked softly, pacing until the door swung open in front of him. he stopped in his tracks, letting out a deep breath before turning to face her. "did you have a baby?"
