#moon knight#moon knight comics#marc spector#nooooo?#that's the whole point#marc spent a lot of time as a merc just yoloing around#not really giving a fuck who he worked for or why#it's mentioned in like every run that he didn't care whether bad guys or good guys lined his pockets#just that there was a payday at the end of it#peter alraune's death was the start of the turning point#neatly bookended by marc's own death#and his guilt and desire to make up for his actions are exactly that:#his multiple actions and multiple choices and the sheer amount of death and violence he's participated in#it's not just about one man#given the incredible allusion to vengeance of the moon knight in the first issue or second or whatever#i KNOW the writer has read at least a little bit of moon knight#so he KNOWS that peter isn't the first 'innocent' that died because of marc#i'm just so confused fam
