i can’t stop thinking about this dialogue from marazhai that i got while exploring some random planet because what does he mean by this.
like, is he using 'man' as a synonym for 'human' in this case (which would be weird because abelard, who was addressing him first, was using 'man' in a distinctly gendered way and marazhai doesn’t have a history of semantic misunderstandings when speaking low gothic) or is he actually talking about the gender, 'man'. because if it's the second option, it begs the question: do the drukhari have a concept of gender and if so, what is it?
marazhai does use the term 'female' during a dialogue tree in Commorragh when explaining the value of true-born children but it seems to be exclusively an indicator of the ability to gestate a child.
the incubi and wych cults don’t appear to be gendered, but we also don’t get too much information on them.
the standard 'sister' and 'brother' labels are used between siblings, but i wonder if that's more for the sake of audience understanding than an indicator of gendered categories?
