No because y'all really don't get the full capacity of these statements I've had this going through my head for DAYS and I need to scream about it right here right now (these are probably not in order so don't come at me if something is wrong hdhshdgs)

Sun Wukong had at least three sets of family bonds (I am counting the JTTW story too).

He had his monkey family first. This may be wrong but I heard somewhere they left him to go find their own lives (correct me if I'm wrong).

He had his first teacher that gave him his name, and his fellow students. He was then promptly kicked out because he was abusing his power.

Then after spending at least 5-600 years alone trapped in a mountain (don't remember which amount of years it was oops), he was taken into Tripitaka's band. And after their journey to the west, they all went and reincarnated.

And then he had his sworn brothers. It was clear just how close he was to all of them. And you know what happened?

He had to trap DBK.

He, probably by accident, killed Macaque.

And had to fight the rest of his brothers most likely by the will of Heaven and not on his own choice.

He came so close to having a family so many times in his life. He had been happy with his brothers. But fate never gave him a choice to keep any of them. And you know what they all did?

Blamed him. For everything. Assumed he had a choice and didn't let him begin to explain himself.

And now, he has Mk. Who is connected with every single reincarnation of people he once knew. Who doesn't know him.

I don't know about you. But that would fuck me over if I had tried so many times to build a family only to keep loosing it over and over again. It's no freaking wonder he has trust/bonding issues.
