CYL 9, the die is cast

Another year and another Choose your Legends were my wishes don't come true✨ Let's break it down!

First, the Tellius moms, because 1. I love them 2. I need the lore 3. Reunite them with their kids please— 4. get creative and make them playable intsys

Then my forgotten favorites, Finn and Mae, who have no alts despite their popularity, but they're cursed for being from old games. SIGH. They deserve better art, better stats, better everything. (Genny got an alt but not Boey or Mae??? 😭)

And. How is it possible that big bads such as Sephiran and Manfroy still aren't in the game??? Why do we have 3 Altinas and only one Winter Sephiran, where are you hiding her husbandos IntSys??? And if we can't get alts of Julius and Arvis, at least give us Manfroy???

I threw a vote at the rare male representation in Heroes, because I miss Elm and I want his TT story already, we only have a New Year alt of him! He's a fun little gremlin

I'm on board with the favorites, such as Sigurd, Eikthyrnir, M!Byleth, or Ivy, so I didn't cast votes for them and stuck to my black sheep. Now, some honorable mentions by game, because 7 ballots is not enough for all the guys I miss in this damned waifu gacha (I'm losing my mind):

Jugdral : Leif, Ares, Arthur, honestly all the guys are my type (I got all the Genealogy heroes, why do you ask?)

GBA era : Erk, his design is peak early mage

Tellius : don't get me started. WHERE IS RANULF. Nolan, relegated to an accessory??? Adult Boyd??? we're missing so many characters and possible mythic heroes (Soan, Lehran, Deghinsea, Ashunera) it's not funny anymore. Ascended Mist? A Titania who's actually strong 😭? You know us Ikesoren lovers actually like the whole cast and story of these games too, right???

Awakening : Stahl my forgotten beloved

Fates : I just hope Takumi and Leo end up side by side in the rankings this year too

Echoes : Mae and Boey duo... Valentian kids banner... Berkut and Rinea... a resplendent for Clair... ANYTHING 🙏🙏🙏

Three Houses : lore characters like Indech, Macuil, and Sitri would be great but alas, they're not as marketable as Ullr 😢

Engage : Yunaka would by my top pick, along with Pandreo: give him a tome and let him decimate armies you cowards—

No opinions on Akaneia or TMS (didn't play, and yes a TMS banner is long overdue)
