I don’t often share my personal opinions here, not because of cowardice, but rather because I don’t always feel comfortable to express myself in English.

But for some time, I’ve been reading rumors about fans who were kind enough to share their videos and photos of David’s tour. I know many personally and I know the sacrifices they made to afford this trip. Without mentioning names, can we talk about someone who has worked almost every week-end and holiday for months to go to NZ and Australia? Another who did so much overtime that she was exhausted? The list would be long. And @lauricef explained herself on the subject.

No, David didn’t pay them first-class plane tickets or offer concerts tickets.

All these people do this for their pleasure. For the pleasure of spending time together. For the pleasure of seeing David on stage. And they are kind enough to share this with us all.

And I’m thankful because I can’t do what they do. Too far. Too expensive. Not enough free time. And my husband doesn’t like David so it’s impossible to drag him into this kind of adventure ;-) Even though …

In a few weeks we will all be reunited again. When I say all, I’m talking about people, friends, who will come from all over the world. Of any age, any race, many nationalities. The music will bring us together. The pleasure of seeing David on stage, in an “intimate” moment that we have dreamed about for months.

All of these people don’t necessarily share the same ideas about David’s life style. But we won’t be here for gossip. We will be there to share. For friendship. For the happiness of singing together.

And I will even drag my husband with me. And we will make a picture together. Oops.

And this has a price of course. And we will find many people to criticize us, and a lot of jealousy, no doubt. But you know what ? We don’t care.

Because the memories we will have of this day will surpass all the critics of the world.

I have always loved David. I like Mulder. I enjoyed Hank (;-), and even Hodiak. But my favorite David is the singer. Because he is his true himself on stage. Funny, charming, handsome and sexy as hell.

I like to see him smiling, healthy and creative. So no matter what / who gives him a smile. I won’t say more.

I have unsubscribed from many blogs in recent days because of some hate speech. As I did a few months ago about Gillian. We may not have the same opinions, but there is enough hatred in the world without bringing it on topics as futile as the privacy of stars.

No need for hate.
