It’s March and we’re getting a late start to the week, but we’re here! This week we have Bella. She’s our #gplgirloftheweek :) Her mom writes: I think she’s an amazing artist, an awesome person, and she’s got love to share with all!” I know Bella personally and I agree 100%. Please go check out her art over at @bellahandlettering . . . . . #feministart #feministartist #blackartist #blackartists #girlsrock #womenrock #girlpowerletters #girlscandoanything #womenempowerment #girlpowerletters #girlpowerquotes #girlpowerart (at Saint Paul, Minnesota) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuoirJ-hGy2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ptd9hj266ecl

Our next #gplgirloftheweek is @christenacleveland :) Nominated by @lisakayhey, she says, “Christena is a brilliant badass who brings the heat!” We agree. To nominate your own Girl of the Week, head to our website and also share wonderful women on your own feed and tag #GirlPowerLetters to be featured on our page. Jayna Anderson is our #GPLGirloftheWeek :)
Her mother nominated her and says the following about Jayna:
“Jayna is the kind of teen that gives me hope that the world can be better. She has struggled with identity and what it means to be a biracial female in this country, and took the challenges head on. She started a diversity club in her middle school, writes speeches and essays to political figures and chooses justice over popularity. She is the type of young lady that genuinely cares for others and puts that into tangible effort. She’s my kid too, but I think even non parents think she’s pretty rad.“
Share the people in your life who inspire you and tag it with #GirlPowerLetters for a chance to be featured on our page!
