BORROWED TIME
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: idol!khaerin x nj6thmem!fem!reader
trope: first love! angst with comfort! eventual fluff!
haerin sighed for the thousandth time, she realized just how tiring it was to keep sighing - ridiculous, haerin thought as she stared at herself at the mirror. how weird has this day been? she doesn't know, it's always been weird ever since y/n came back from the hospital, the doctors said she was fine, the blow she got on her head when she had an accident during one of their intensive trainings didn't physically damage her. to haerin, it was kind of hard to believe, how could such a huge blow not do any damage? it had to hurt so much, right?
oh well, y/n's charts that her physician provided didn't seem to show any anomalies...
she told herself not to think too much about it, but that's what haerin does best. she can't stop thinking about y/n, she stayed at the hospital for almost 3 months, hell, it was the worst accident that ever happened to their group; haerin remembered how terrible that night was, everyone was crying and worried sick, y/n fell on the floor and hit her head pretty hard on the ground.
but she survived, haerin hated to say this but it was even a miracle y/n survived, the blow was so hard that it could have shaken her brain and damaged it but her charts didn't show any problem in her brain.
till now, she seemed fine.
maybe she knew y/n more than anyone else but, it doesn't stop bothering her, even tonight.
"excuse me." y/n's voice echoed inside the bathroom, she walked her way towards the sink and stood beside haerin to brush her teeth, haerin stared at the girl and watched as the girl brushed her teeth.
"hey, today's the start of our filming... there's nothing wrong that can happen, right?" this has been occurring in the past few weeks since y/n came back from the hospital, haerin was glad for her to be back but it felt different.
y/n can't seem to recognize haerin's voice, she was functioning like an idol, she can dance to beat, hit the right notes, and act like her usual self but the least y/n thing to do is not respond immediately to what haerin was telling her, it felt weird.
y/n turned around to look at haerin and gave her a soft smile. "don't worry." just like that, haerin doesn't understand the sudden shift in her responses, she's the same way with the other members.
there were times were y/n took a few seconds to reply to the members, often times it felt like she couldn't recognize who is who.
but how?
haerin has no logical explanation, y/n's condition was beyond words, it was hard to explain, she didn't lose memories no, she could tell her members name, she knows what her life was once before the incident but it felt like a part of y/n was missing, barely holding on.
if haerin was to explain this to people, they'd think she's insane.
y/n left the bathroom and haerin, the girl frowned, damned and confused.
it's not like haerin has the sharpest eyes amongst everyone, literally, the shape of her eyes were sharp, but the way she see things weren't always as accurate as it is. but when she stared at y/n during their shooting, in the house where the light was shining upon y/n's face, she knew she had to get these feelings out soon.
y/n was silent, she turned to haerin and gave haerin a small smile. "it's hot isn't it? i didn't want to go to the convenience store with the others cause i knew you'd stay." y/n is still y/n, her memories are well intact, she knows haerin and everything about her.
maybe it's time for haerin to stop thinking too much.
what was that feeling? haerin blinked her eyes and stared at y/n. "i'm glad you're okay." haerin muttered, y/n nodded.
y/n felt bad, just how long does she need to hide this? she knew haerin was catching up to her, y/n knew how rare her cognitive disorder were from the force she got during the incident; she was scared they'd turn her into a lab rat.
that night, when she opened her eyes again, she could barely tell who was who, she knew her members' names but she couldn't recognize their faces as familiar. now, y/n is scared to close her eyes, because when she does, haerin's face fades away...
that same night, haerin didn't speak while everyone did, y/n couldn't remember what her voices sounded like, even now, whenever she's away from haerin, she can't recognize her voice.
in her three months inside the hospital, it felt like hell, her tactile sense was impaired, her auditory sensory too, and even her visual sensory was beyond repair; somehow y/n knew it was hard to explain her condition.
but there was hope, obviously, she really wasn't all that crippled, to y/n, it was just a side effect, yet it's hard to deal with but it was the best outcome out of all. who knows? if she wasn't lucky enough to survive that accident, she would've been dead by now.
yet, she is alive. y/n has to accept that she will live her upcoming years dealing with the anguish that her condition will bring her, it was hard to keep hiding but it was for the best.
y/n looked at haerin. "i promise, i'll always be okay." haerin looked down, it had to be the truth, right? perhaps, their perspective on that promise were different, y/n can only guarantee that everything haerin saw in her was okay, but haerin wanted to know deeper.
the girls came back with snacks, a cold soda, and some breads. y/n turned her head away as hanni cheered, y/n can't tell who was that, every now and then, she kept forgetting the girls' facial features, except for their hair and clothes.
hanni has a short hair in this filming, so it was easy to distinguish her from everyone else, the same with danielle with her curly hair.
y/n is only happy she picks up on it quickly without them noticing.
one day, she'll have to stop playing pretend and come in terms with her reality.
"you want bread?" hanni asked y/n, to which she nodded and smiled. "of course." she beamed at hanni and grabbed the bread.
ah, y/n couldn't tell if this bread was heavy or not.
"it's so soft!" danielle smiled, haerin watched y/n as she looked over the members with a smile. yeah, haerin hated herself for always thinking twice.
both her and y/n needed to make up their mind, find a place where they want their minds to reside, they can't keep going off anywhere.
y/n can't tell what texture this bread had, is it smooth or rough? soft or tough?
her disorder limited her performance in identifying most objects.
the whole filming felt natural, well, it was a tough job but overall, y/n managed to keep up quite well. she was happy to be given this chance to continue with newjeans, she promised herself nothing was limiting her from doing something she loved and being with the people she cares for.
ah, it was another one of those nights again when y/n is in her bed and crying; she can't feel her face, it's been numb and tired.
why does she feel like this?
it's horrible...
why can't she just be honest with what she feels? why does she have to suffer?
it's scary, she can't recognize haerin's voice, her members' face were out of the picture. once again, even for only a short amount of time, they felt like strangers to her.
she needed help and if she can't get it, her cognitive disorder will destroy her whole being, something worse than a nightmare, is her confusion, a poison was the truth.
there's no certain cure for agnosia, maybe it was a bad idea for her to surf the internet for an answer, it must be just anxiety, yeah - she's probably just worrying too much.
y/n sighed, the truth was a pill she couldn't swallow, necessary but felt like a punch on the gut, denial was her only answer, tonight, she wants to still her resolve to face her contests.
haerin heard faint sobbing as she leaned her ears on the door, she sighed, it's one of those nights again. haerin wanted to know what was putting y/n into these kinds of situations, crying herself to sleep until the time burns out and she's left to keeping herself awake till the next day.
haerin knows y/n and her have a connection only they can understand, it was some kind of feelings that both they shared and individually had. something that's hurting y/n is hurting haerin too. haerin knocked on the door. "y/n? are you okay? this is haerin."
y/n rose from her bed and wiped her tears, it's haerin, she knew only because haerin revealed herself.
"come in..." y/n faint voice made haerin's heart skip a beat.
when haerin opened the door, she caught a glimpse of y/n's back, haerin curled her brows but only for a few seconds as she gathered her courage.
"i could hear your sobs you know? what's bothering you?" there was no point with hiding, y/n looked at haerin, the swollen eyes caught the cat-like girl off guard, she sighed and sat on the other edge of the bed, their backs facing each other.
"a lot..." y/n muttered, haerin nodded.
"i guessed it, want to share it?" haerin's offer sounded tempting at the moment, y/n felt like it made sense if she finally came to agreement about what she felt, she'd be able to understand haerin more and get the heavy feelings off of her chest.
"it feels a little heavy for me to share... but i guessed it's you so..." y/n shifts her posture as she turned a bit to face haerin's back, she had a small sheepish smile, haerin chuckled; from what she remembered, the heaviest for her was having to see y/n at the hospital, it made her hate the emptiness of every corridor, the heaviness of her heart weighing all the worries she carried for y/n.
the comfort the practice room once gave her was gone, all that was left is fear of something worse as she await y/n's return.
"i can take it." haerin stated.
"i'm consulting a doctor, again." haerin finally turned her head, both of their backs facing each other but their eyes were on one another. haerin raised her eyebrows. "like your weekly checkups with the physician?" well it was something everyone knew was a part if y/n's new routine.
"why? you don't wanna go there anymore?" haerin asked again.
y/n shook her head as she took a heavy breath. "no," she paused, it was for the best, if she stopped consulting her physician, one thing could go wrong and it's over but she needed more help.
"i... i'll try reaching out to psychiatrists..." haerin looked at y/n, surprised, it was out of pocket.
"why..?" haerin was rather afraid to ask but she wanted to know. y/n shook her head and sighed. "that i'm still trying to look for an answer myself, i felt the need to reach out to a psychiatrist but i can only get the answer why i got the urge if i can hear them out." y/n answered, it was know haerin's turn to shake her head.
"no, there's definitely something wrong." the past was their playful banter, y/n remembers those memories with haerin but all with a distorted image of haerin's face and an almost empty sound of her voice.
even the touch of haerin's palm was unrecognizable to y/n.
that was her problem. "it's hard to explain." y/n said.
haerin frowned and looked down. "are you going to be okay?" like a sad kitten, haerin asked as she looked at y/n. y/n gave her a nod. "of course."
agnosia...
prosopagnosia, the disorder that affects her ability to recognize familiar faces.
phonagnosia, inability to recognize familiar voices, and ahylognosia, the disorder that hinders the identification of textures and materials.
the psychiatrist couldn't give her a proper answer to a cure, even he looked unsure; it brought y/n's hopes down. he could only say that time can help y/n re-develop these skills, it was a side effect of the trauma her head caught during her accident.
"give it at least three or more months. it should be advisable to stay with friends, families, or loved ones, that's the only thing you should really worry about, it doesn't get worse over time as long as you keep great contact with familiar people in your life."
that's what he said.
though, there isn't an instant cure, y/n held on to what her psychiatrist said, he'll keep in touch and check up on her every now and then, maybe that'll help.
as y/n was heading home, she kept listening to their own songs, familiarize... and remember...
watching music videos was her answer, since she gets to call her family all the time she needed to, y/n's main focus is once again recognizing her members.
when she got home, haerin noticed this.
"hey, you've been watching a lot of our music videos." she pointed out, y/n looked up at haerin, just a bit more, she told herself.
"yeah, i like our songs." it was true but in this situation it wasn't.
"how did your consultation went?" haerin asked, not taking no more risk to lose the chances. the members were gone except for the two girls. "it went as expected." y/n answered.
haerin looked down at y/n who sat down at her chair and haerin scratched her cheek. "i hate beating around the bush, can you tell me what you got? i promise i'll keep it." y/n appreciates haerin's honesty but it was hard to say something that took her a lot to understand.
y/n stood up from her seat and shook her head at haerin. "maybe the right time will come, i have something i want to say more now that that." y/n faced haerin and sighed as she let out a sheepish laugh.
haerin blushed as the gap between them got smaller, she really isn't good about these things unless they're playful, definitely not when it's y/n. "what is it?" maybe she shouldn't push the psychiatrist topic so much; it worried haerin yes, but it didn't seem right to y/n, it wasn't her choice.
"do you like me?" it was such a short question but haerin was taken back as she pointed to herself, she's got her tongue tied as she looked away with a soft blush.
"what's that suddenly about?" haerin asked as she looked at y/n again, y/n smiled and shook her head. "nothing, anyway i'll just get something from minji's room." y/n shrugged and haerin saw y/n walked past her and haerin reached over to y/n's shoulder. "wait!"
y/n turned around and looked at haerin as the cat-like girl took a heavy breathe. "i, i have something to say. promise we'll stay the same?" haerin's face looked delicate, to y/n's eyes, her expression were cute. "of course." she said.
"hm, i like you yeah. but why would u ask?" haerin looked at y/n before scratching her cheek. y/n stared at haerin and smiled, she shrugged and looked away for only a few seconds. "well, if i were to be honest it makes things easier for me. you know? just watch over me okay? i'll eventually get better in no time." y/n said as she beamed at haerin, haerin nodded, a soft blush covering her cheeks.
"well, as long as you tell me about what you feel." haerin shrugged, her breath feels short, must have been her heart beating too much. y/n looked down and nodded. "i promise to be transparent." y/n muttered as she leaned her head on haerin's shoulder.
y/n rubbed her face on the soft fabric of haerin's clothes, the cat-like girl's smell wafted around her, the smell of the fresh fabric conditioner. she's afraid if she closes her eyes her mind would be in a blur.
haerin looked at y/n, she awkwardly stayed still.
"i'm sorry," y/n sighed. "i can't really find a way to communicate what i'm going through, not to you, not to the members." haerin nodded.
"it is harder for you than everyone else..." haerin muttered.
"everyone will find out sooner anyway, i don't have to hide forever." y/n smiled as she she felt haerin's arms around her.
a future with everyone, that's what y/n wanted, though hard to put into imagination, she wishes that once all is over, she'll still be with haerin.
"it's okay, i won't let them force you if you don't want to." haerin knew she sounded silly, it was something tough and brave for her to say but it was true, she'd be willing to speak up if it was for y/n's betterment.
y/n chuckled and nodded. "i trust you." she whispered.
y/n doesn't want to close her eyes, she wants to know that she's with haerin, that when haerin speaks, her eyes could see her presence, she wanted more than to feel, it was out of her capabilities as her cognitive disorder limited her to be able to do such things;
if she closes her eyes, she wouldn't know it's haerin speaking, she wouldn't certainly be able to imagine the familiarity of haerin's face.
maybe just now, but in the future anything could change - hopefully.
haerin had to shake her mind off of y/n's secrets, not everything has to have her in the picture and she understood it.
haerin and y/n both hopes for something better to come, maybe tomorrow it will change, maybe not - maybe it'll only take a couple of days or if not, weeks, months or even a year or two. it's hard to try and live in the future if the present needed to be change; no one certainly knew what would happen.
but in this present, y/n only needed her family, friends, and haerin. through what limited her capabilities, it's not enough to put y/n to a full stop and not enough for haerin to keep caring for the girl.
as they stood in the middle of y/n's room, haerin's hug starts to feel tighter, without y/n noticing it.
"i love you." haerin thought, well, she didn't have enough courage to say it.
sighing, haerin carefully puts a hand on top of y/n's head and gently caressed y/n's hair. for a brief moment or more, it felt like home.

"what do we even fucking write about?"
"y/n..."
"sorry..."
how did you get here? glad you asked!
it's the year 2025, and a team of producers at hybe are on the works for a minor project: a web drama promoting support for the lgbtq+.
you've talked about how odd it was to your best friend, and groupmate, yunjin.
"probably good for publicity, girl. like 'make everyone know we're not homophobic!' kinda thing." was all she had to say about it, which was likely true anyways.
you were convinced the casting was done at random honestly, but it was obvious they wanted a mix of groups to garner more attention. and that landed you the lead role with, you guessed it, ms. hanni pham!
why you two when you each had members who fit the actress role better? well, that's where you thought the random part came to play.
filming wasn't much of an issue. you were comfortable with hanni, and you two worked well on and off screen, just as expected considering your history. the director even pointed out your "remarkable chemistry", but she didn't have to know why it was that way.
as a matter of fact, you guys were about to wrap up in a few days. it was a wild past couple of weeks, but it was nice to get to spend more time with hanni again.
i mean, don't get me wrong, it's not like you two cut each other off when you moved to korea, but the talking definitely decreased, and the filming made up for lost time!
now, on one of the last days of filming, your respective managers sat you two in a conference room together, and dropped the news that you'd have to compose a new song just for the web drama's soundtrack.
the task in itself didn't bother you at all, and you were sure it didn't bother hanni too. you two were experienced in songwriting and composing, your names on a couple of song credits to count, so this was actually much easier than acting.
the issue was that you had enough going on for certain... feelings to resurface.
you see, the plot of the web drama hit a little too close to home for you. i mean seriously, childhood friends with feelings for each other, but couldn't take things further due to complications, then having to work together acting in some play.
it sounded a lot like your story.
hell, they even had your character do swimming! the same sport you excelled in back in australia.
the only reason nothing has gotten too awkward on that note yet, was because of your other labelmates being there like boynextdoor's leehan, minji and danielle, even your fellow members kazuha and yunjin.
with them around, you got to reconnect with hanni, but with a couple safe boundaries! now that you two were tasked to work on something alone though? you were scared things were going to be different.
so that's what brought you two here, together, in the music room. hanni seated facing the table with a pen and paper, you on the floor with your guitar in hand.
you were strumming to any chord shape that could come to mind in hopes of finding a melody that you could build off of, and hanni was tapping the end of her pencil on her forehead for any word, lyric, or rhyme that could work.
nothing came.
so engrossed in your respective tasks, the two of you didn't notice a shadow behind the translucent door, so when a knock came, you levitated off the floor for a millisecond, and hanni let out a soft yelp.
"hey you two~"
huh yunjin.
"how are my besties doing!" she came in doing a little dance, first walking over to check on what hanni was writing before landing on the floor beside you.
"we're stuck." you muttered, head against the wall behind you.
"oh... i see." yunjin shrugged her eyebrows in confusion, because she had just came from peeking over at hanni's notebook and was 100% sure she had lines written down.
"well, let's see... you got the genre down that suits the two of you so there's that. romance obviously sells, so there's that too. maybe you guys should try... writing while in character?" yunjin did her best to help the two of you, as the mutual best friend and seasoned singer-songwriter. "or if there's an experience you guys have had before, that would definitely help. real raw emotion ya know?"
"anyways," the eldest huffed and got up from the floor, messing up your hair and hanni's before heading for the door to leave the room. "i gotta get going. you two don't come home too late okay?"
you and hanni nodded before resuming. after a couple minutes, you realized that maybe you two will have to be communicating more if it meant writing a song together.
"hey han, do you have anything written?" hanni froze for a second before turning around on her chair.
truth was she did. she wrote them down specifically as yunjin started telling you two to write based on experiences.
"i... uh... kind of? just a couple lines, i don't know how i feel about them though."
"can i take a look? might help a bit."
"oh yeah... sure..."
there was a hint of hesitance in her voice, but it'd look awfully suspicious if she scratched out lines right before you'd check.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"ah..." the initial reaction was surprise for you, and a million thoughts came racing through your head.
"yeah! it's nothing much... but i figured it was better than nothing...."
"no yeah! for sure! i'm kinda getting the vibe, wait here." you turned around and picked up your guitar from the floor and took a seat beside hanni. "uhm... okay let's try... this?"
you freestyled a riff on your guitar, allowing your fingers to move on its own to play what felt right. it resulted in one of the most simple yet enchanting melodies that seemed perfect for your song's intro.
"hey that sounds perfect! i love it!" hanni cheered and gave you a thumbs up. "okay so... since you're doing your little guitar intro, perhaps we have the first line written in your character's point of view?"
"sure... okay... uhm..." it took you a couple seconds to think of something, or to get in character on the spot. but then you remembered yunjin's advice.
an experience you guys have had before.
"uh... how's this..." you fiddled with your hands as hanni nodded along, telling you to go on with your suggestion. after about half a minute, you had a two-liner with some sort of melody that matched your guitar intro. "i fell in love with the only girl who knows what i'm about."
hanni froze for a second, which didn't go unnoticed by you, but continued nodding along as she wrote down the lines. "i like your voice in this genre."
"oh..." you looked up from your guitar and faced her side profile as she was still facing her notebook. you felt your face warm a little, but not too much for it to gain color. "that's a lot coming from you. i have your lee mujin service episode on loop."
hanni smiled, a sight you'd never get tired of seeing. "a fan, huh? which part's your favorite?" she turned to look at you, a smirk on her face to mask the flustered and proud version of herself having received praise for her work from you of all people.
she continued writing a line underneath yours, a sudden burst of inspiration coming over her.
"probably lucky."
of course it's the song about being in love with your best friend.
she chuckled at your answer. hanni wasn't dense, and she knew you weren't either.
okay maybe you were, just slightly, but you pick up on context clues.
but point is, she knew what that implied, and what everything that came between the two of you the past few weeks could've felt like for you.
but just as she was getting somewhere, her train of thought was interrupted by your "burst of epiphany", as one would call it.
"oh hey, hear this out. i think it sounds like chorus material." you tapped her shoulder and positioned your hands across the frets of your guitar. you sounded a lot happier, more energy than you did earlier in the day as you finally got a feel of what to write and play.
when we're underneath the lights, my heart's no longer broken, for a moment, just for a moment
in that moment, hanni's mind rushed with too many emotions. objectively, the melody was beautiful. your voice made it better, the guitar felt like it had a voice of its own, and the lyrics. god, the lyrics.
she knew for sure you felt what she felt.
the two of you stayed in that music room a couple more hours, discovering a new type of comfort in a person the other has always known. like reading a book you've had forever, and feeling a newfound joy in a character that has always been there.
by the end of the day, you and hanni seemed to have switched roles, your guitar in her hands, and her notebook in yours.
you were finishing up a final copy of the first half of the song along with chords in case you'd forget the sound. there was also a copy of the both of you singing on your respective voice note apps. (which, unbeknownst to you, would be on repeat for hanni later that night.)
"here we go." you sighed, it took a lot of effort trying to make handwriting like yours legible. you've always hated it. teachers back in elementary all throughout high school would always mark your papers low despite almost flawless answers, just for your handwriting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"i've always liked your handwriting..." hanni muttered as she admired your written work, unknowingly smiling to herself.
"oh.. thanks. i've always hated it."
"i know." hanni looked up at you, observing the sheepish smile on your face. she knew all about why you hated it, and she understood, but to her, it was an art. a part of you. she thought, "that's why i like it."
there was partial truth into that. besides it being a funny add-on to hanni's compliment, it's always been her thing to love stuff about you that you hated, even if it was something as small as handwriting.
back when you two were together (or whatever that was you had back in australia before you left, neither of you stuck a label on it), she'd always talk long speeches about how your handwriting was an art. something so significantly you that you shouldn't change, and that even if you hated it, she'd love it twice as much in place of you.
as you two shared a couple more laughs, a notification popped up on both of your phones. yours first, then hanni's a second later.
a snort accidentally escaped your system as you read the texts. "sorry.. is it yunjin?"
hanni let out the loudest laugh before nodding and exchanging phones with you to read what the older sent to the other. it was the same message in different forms, panicking to get you home before chaewon freaked out and took it out on yunjin, then proceeding to fear minji and her "wrath".
despite laughing at your member's worry, the two of you stood up to pack up, which really didn't take much anyways. you slid your guitar in its case, hanni hid her notebook in her bag.
walking out of the room to the lobby together side by side was probably the most stomach-churning activity of the day. and you literally had to write a love song about each other with each other. but there was something in the way it felt when your hands touched.
as you reached the part of the building where you finally had to part ways, the two of you faced each other. both expecting something, but not quite sure with what they were expecting.
"i.. uh... it was nice to reconnect today." she started off, awfully awkward at it too.
"yeah... it was..." you smiled, hand reaching for the back of your neck to scratch. a nervous habit. "i'll let you know if i think of anything tonight."
"yeah, same here." hanni nodded back, though a pinch of disappointment evident on her face. maybe she was expecting more, or maybe it was too soon. "see you tomorrow?"
"yeah... see ya." you slowly turned around, head racing.
should you say something? should you save it for another time? would it make things awkward tomorrow?
screw it. live in the present, right?
"han... for the record, my heart does still stop when i see you."

close to my heart, i hold you dearly.
pairing: megan skiendiel x masc!reader
synopsis: as you and megan continue the fake relationship during a double date, it becomes harder to deny your feelings for one another.
tags: fake dating trope, nonceleb!au, mutual pining
now playing: tell her how you feel, dream wave.
a/n: yikes srry i took so long with part 2 😓 i tried my best w build up of tension & the pacing, tbh yn and megan are just idiots in love. implied hair theory in love (??) 😛megan going back to natural
++ links: part i. this features yunjin my favorite side character, she’s really just a plot device to me (JOKES) decided to make this extra long since i made y’all wait !!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“yun, for the last time, i am not going on a double date with you.” groaning out, you glared at the girl before you who had her lips jutted out and puppy eyes on display.
yunjin wailed, throwing her arms up. “yn, please! i need you to do this for me.”
currently, the two of you were in the ginger’s college dormitory. the initial plan was to study together, since finals were coming up in a few weeks, but the american had other plans. from the moment you stepped into her room, she pushed her books aside and brought up her proposal, which she was now trying to convince you to do.
the glare you sent the girl didn’t faze her, nor did it falter her confidence that you would agree. she didn’t give you another chance to respond, talking animatedly.
“its only dinner, and it’s not like i’m setting you up with someone! obviously you’ll bring megan.” she said, watching as you stood up from the couch.
you froze for a second, glancing over your shoulder. shaking the surprise off, you continued the short walk to fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, loosening the bottles cap.
“how do you know about megan?” you questioned, taking a sip from the bottle.
yunjin turned around on the couch to face you, a mischievous smile on her face. “well, sophia mentioned she saw you two at some party.” she drawled out, “where do you think i got the idea for the double date?”
you rolled your eyes at her ‘brilliant’ plan, twisting the lid of the bottle closed. you leaned against the counter, looking at your friend.
“isn’t this your first date with soph?” you asked her, eyebrows knitted together.
yunjin nodded her head, though she had a bashful look on her face. “yes, but— god, you know how nervous i get around her. what if i mess up and say something stupid?”
you laughed at her words, because yeah, it was true that yunjin was a bit of a nervous loser around any pretty girl. you were sure she’d mess up in someway with the filipino girl.
she got up from the couch, walking towards you. “i need you there as, like, a buffer for me, and since you and megan are already together, it would be less awkward!”
you tilted your head to the side and stared at the girl. her eyes were wide with distress, hands put together as if she was praying. it was an amusing sight, and you couldn’t help but let out a light chuckle at her antics.
“how are we friends?”
yunjin sighed exasperatedly and gripped her hands onto your forearms. her hold was tight, and you could tell she was close to losing it if you didn’t say yes.
“please, please,” she begged, “when have i ever asked you to do anything for me?”
you looked at her in disbelief, reminding her of a past experience, “uh— first year? you made me bring gifts to your crush for three weeks straight, and she ended up thinking i had a crush on her!”
yunjin’s lips fell in a straight line at your response, looking off to the side. “okay, fine, i admit that was a bit extreme. but i really like sophia, so pretty, pretty please will you go with us?”
“alright, calm down!” you pulled her arms off you, and laughed lightly at the hope that spread in her eyes. “i’ll talk to megan about it.”
yunjin let out a loud yell, thanking you and pressed her body against yours in a quick hug. you barely had time to reciprocate the hug before she was pulling away. she smiled widely, her pearly whites on display, and ran around the dorm in search of her phone to let sophia know you’d be joining them.
you laughed again at her frantic movements and shuffled over to the couch, “can we get on with studying now?”
“ugh, you are such a nerd.”
Tumblr media
megan’s room was quiet, aside from the rolling credits of the movie you’d just finished. it had been over a month since the fake relationship began, and the two of you had grown closer as friends. you’d go out for dates, planned movie nights, had dinner with each others parents.
it was fun to have megan as a friend. she was lively, unashamed to be herself around you. she laughed as loud as she wanted, ranted to you about her newest obsessions, told you stories from her childhood, embarrassing and all. megan brought a side out of you that you didn’t even know existed, and the ongoing idea of being ‘together’ caused many inside jokes and teasing.
what warmed your heart the most was the way she got along with your younger sister. hyein was known to be somewhat of a menace, she also rarely liked the girls you brought home, and she never hid that from you. however, with megan, your sister loved talking to her, wanting to be with you and her anytime the hawaiian girl came over.
that made it difficult to have a moment alone with her, which was why you spent most of your time together at megan’s place, like now.
“oh, i almost forgot!” you gasped out once megan paused the movie.
she looked at you in confusion as you got off the bed and reached for your tote bag, digging inside and pulled out a square, silver box. your back was to megan, so she couldn’t see what was in your hand, her curiosity piquing.
the box had a bow wrapped around the centre, it delicately resting in your hands as you plopped back on the bed, crossing your legs underneath you and glanced at her with a small smile. megan moved to sit opposite you, her gaze filled with interest, but also had a softness to it, like it always did when she looked at you.
“for you.” you said, lightly.
megan took the box from you, her hands brushing against yours tenderly, causing your heart to stutter from the brief contact. it was a foreign feeling to you, yet you brushed it off in the moment.
she frowned as you watched her slowly undo the bow. megan didn’t say anything while she took the top lid off, shrieking once she noticed the shining metal in the light, taking a pair of earrings out and holding it in her palm.
“yn…” she breathlessly said, eyes connecting with yours. “these are so beautiful.”
you shrugged nonchalantly, as if it wasn’t a big deal. then, you wiggled your eyebrows teasingly, “happy fake anniversary.”
megan burst out in giggles at your words and leaped forward to wrap her arms around your neck, the earrings being clutched tightly in her hand. there was a bit of force as you were pushed back, leaning on yours arms while you supported yours and megan’s weight.
“oh my god, you dork!” she muttered against your ear, “i can’t believe you would get me this for a fake anniversary.”
you reached up to caress the back of her head, smiling to yourself, chest filling with comfort. as nice as it was to see the girl so happy, you regretfully let out, “eh, that’s not the only reason…”
megan leaned back, her arms falling beside her and once again looking confused. you shyly placed your hand on the side of your neck, avoiding her gaze.
“yunjin wants us to go on a double date.” you explained, sucking in a breath. “with her and sophia.”
“oh,” megan paused, looking at the earrings in her palm, deep in thought. she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t a little sad over the gift having an ulterior motive. “so, this is bribery then?”
“well, no.” you took one earring from her and brought it up to megan’s earlobe, testing how it would look on her. “i also wanted to get you something nice.”
megan tried to ignore the feeling of your skin brushing against her jaw, your touch like a burn. while you peered over how the earring suited her, megan’s eyes were watching you, silently thinking that you looked stunning in the lighting of her room, yet she forced herself to break her gaze once you placed the earring back in her palm.
“thank you, yn. when’s the date?” she questioned, searching for the box in her messy sheets.
“next friday.” you replied, though you hadn’t noticed the slight change in her attitude as you tucked some hair behind megan’s ear, her movements pausing. “guess we’re going to have to pretend again.”
megan chortled, though it was strained. she pushed aside her feelings, settling the heavy sensation deep in her heart. she put the earrings back in the box as she bit down on her lower lip.
“we did do a pretty good job at it last time.” the ginger commented, placing the lid over the box and handed it to you so that you could put it on her nightstand.
“we did.” you agreed, leaning back against the headboard.
your mind began to fade away from the present moment, thinking back to the party; being with megan, your close proximity, her body against yours, her hands tucked under your shirt, having her against the wall, the heat you felt, kissing her.
“should we watch another movie?” you asked, snapping yourself out of a daze.
megan shook her head, “hm, no. i’m feeling a little tired.” she lied, wanting to close her eyes and forget this weird disappointment she felt.
you reached for the laptop and set it on the floor, then moved down until you were lying flat on the bed, hand wrapping around megan’s wrist and gently tugged her towards you. megan didn’t say anything, allowing you to pull her against your chest, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.
“then lets sleep.” you told her, shutting your eyes closed.
though she was unsettled by the bribery tactic, megan couldn’t help but find comfort in your hold. megan’s breath hitched in her throat. it wouldn’t be the first time you’d lay like this, having to keep up the charade of dating around her friends and your sister. there were many moments where she felt this feeling, each one more deeper than the last.
(the first time she felt it, it was during a saturday night as you settled in your couch together for a series binge watching of squid game with your sister, hyein. megan still remember how her heart stopped when she felt your hand drop below her waist, resting on her hips, her skin warm against yours. it made her dizzy, bashful, yet it seemed as if it was second nature to you.
the second time she felt it was while you were over at lara’s place. it was a hot, summer evening, the heat having tired everyone out, and you’d fallen asleep against megan. she freaked, wondering how to move you so you’d be more comfortable, until you pulled her towards you, your hold tight, and her heart raced from the way you unknowingly reached for her. she had no choice but to calm her racing heart and try to sleep with out.
the third time she felt it, surprisingly was not in your arms. instead, it was during a moment of heavy sickness for her. you’d come over, bearing with some warm soup and orchids, her favorite, and— wait, she didn’t remember telling you that. megan didn’t question it though, and despite her attempts of keeping you away, as she didn’t want you getting sick too, you stayed, until she was better, until she was feeling like herself.
later that day, megan would find out you’d actually asked lara what her preference for flowers were.
she saw it — you cared for her.)
but now, in this moment, as your fingers lazily rubbed circles in her hair, how perfectly she fit in your arms, megan felt her heart constrict in her chest.
the hawaiian knew, then and there, this wasn’t what one was supposed to experience during a fake relationship. she wondered, did you feel that too? did you also have these brief, fleeting moments of wanting more?
megan couldn’t remember the last time she felt this way, but she hoped — prayed — you’d be there to catch her.
Tumblr media
the dim lighting of the restaurant created a warm glow, smooth jazz music playing. the place yunjin told you to meet at was far from classy, yet it wasn’t so casual either. it was more in between, even to give sophia a good impression of her.
the waiter guided you and megan towards a booth where you caught sight of your college friend, sophia sitting beside her, deep in conversation and talking animatedly.
it was yunjin who noticed you first, the shadow of the waiter casting over the table caused her to look up. he nodded his head curtly to you, walking off to the front desk of the restaurant, while you and yunjin shared a brief embrace, sending a smile towards the filipino. megan greeted them both with a graceful hello, sliding into the booth and you followed behind her, sitting close enough that your thighs touched.
yunjin leaned back, chuckling smoothly. “finally, you’re here! i was beginning to think you wouldn’t show anymore.”
“its true, she was all fidgety and antsy.” sophia commented, looking over at yunjin with deep admiration. “it was kind of cute.”
yunjin’s cheeks flushed a deep red from the girl’s words, and you smirked at the way she practically melted once sophia reached behind her and scratched her nails on yunjin’s neck.
god, that girl was hopeless.
“we would’ve been here sooner, but someone—” you glanced at megan purposely, voice hard for a second. “—took forever to drive here.”
megan tutted, placing a hand over her chest in mock offense. “you judge my driving too harshly.”
“i almost died — twice!” you screeched out, eyes wide in bewilderment, yet a smile tugged at your lips. “i’m taking us home tonight.”
your tone left no room for debate, but megan didn’t mind; she’d gladly be your passenger princess any day. the girl rolled her eyes playfully, and tugged on the knot of the tie that loosely and lowly hung around your neck.
“fine,” she huffed. “no complaints here.”
you grasped onto her hand that held onto the knot and lugged it away, scowling in a joking manner, pretending to be annoyed that she had messed it up. megan flipped your hands around so that she now grasped yours and pulled it over her shoulder, your arm now resting around it.
megan convinced herself was doing this for show. after all, both yunjin and sophia believed you were really together — you needed to play the part.
yet, she missed the way sophia glanced at you two, a hint of joy in her eyes at seeing her friend happy, especially since sophia knew how heartbroken megan was over her ex girlfriend. she could sense it was natural the way you and megan acted, you were simply drawn to one another.
sophia knew megan was feeling more like her old self, the megan before the break-up, before she had first met her ex.
“i like the new look.” the filipino voiced, leaning forward as she looked at megan.
the girl in question glanced down at her hair that flew over her shoulders, “yeah?” she laughed, smiling widely. “i said i’d go back to black.”
“it really does suit you, meg.” yunjin agreed, offering a shy smile. “but i’m a little sad we aren’t twinning anymore.” she touched her own ginger hair, looking down at it.
megan smiled even more, till her eyes turned into crescents. it was a sight to behold, this bright energy and glow that radiated from her, and you felt your own smile grow from her happiness alone.
“maybe dye your hair and we’d match again.” megan shrugged, offering a teasing look to the american.
yunjin looked in genuine thought as she contemplated the idea. sophia noticed and pouted, her glossy lips shining in the light of the restaurant.
“aw no, i quite like ginger yun.” she prodded.
you couldn’t help but cackle as your friend stumbled over her words, stuttering out a barely coherent sentence. megan, who was much more discreet than you, stifled a laugh as well.
yunjin looked down at sophia, her eyes shining with love, completely her mercy. “oh… s-sure! anything you like, i’ll be.”
sophia found the american’s behavior endearing, smirking to herself, as if she knew of the power she held. she then simply shook her head, though she smiled adoringly, and began a conversation with megan off to side.
you leaned forward across the table. yunjin wasn’t that far away, so your arm still hung partially over megan’s shoulder while the distance between you and the ginger became less.
you squinted at her, “jesus chris, get a fucking grip, dude.”
yunjin groaned internally, her whole body felt flushed. she was way too nervous for this, her heart thumping erratically.
“i’m trying,” yunjin hissed. “this is exactly why you’re here.” she reminded you, quickly taking a much needed sip of water.
you were about to respond when a waiter walked over, inquiring if you were ready to order. you leaned away from yunjin, who stared at you warningly, drawing your arm off megan’s shoulder and opened the menu, flipping through the pages until you all decided on what to eat for the night.
conversation flowed between the four of you easily while you waited for your food, exchanging laughs and talking about many different topics. at times, you and megan found yourselves wrapped in one another’s words, talking amongst each other alone, as if yunjin and sophia were nonexistent.
the dinner came to an end, plates taken away the only thing left behind was either half empty or finished glasses of drinks, and the bill already paid. it was when you were walking out the restaurant doors that you thanked yunjin for inviting you and megan out, to which the girl stared at you tauntingly.
“ah, you didn’t think this would be the only thing for tonight, did you?” she asked, the corner of her lip twitched in a sly smirk.
you looked to her with surprise, “you said it was just dinner.” coming to a stop, you quickly glanced at megan, and back to yunjin.
the four of you stood outside in the restaurant’s parking lot, the cool and crisp air a huge contrast to the warmth of inside.
“right,” yunjin nodded. “and a movie.” she divulged, smiling at the happy noise sophia let out, heart leaping once again. “there’s a drive-in movie a couple blocks away.”
you slumped forward at the news. did yunjin really have to spring this on you?
you were very prepared for a dinner date, but now there was a movie involved. and while you were completely fine at first, you wondered how you’d managed to be around megan in this predicament, especially with these weird, new feelings.
dinner was one thing, but to be with megan, in the dark — alone — was something else entirely.
yunjin was looking at you hopefully, silently pleading with you. sophia watched as you stood rooted to your spot, a little confused at your reluctancy. and megan, sweet, attentive megan, nudged your arm, drawing your attention.
“c’mon, it’ll be fun.” she mumbled lowly, looking up at you, lazy smile in place.
you glanced at her, wondering if you’d really want to do this. sophia and yunjin were still watching you, awaiting your response, and then you remembered you had to keep this charade up, because in their eyes, you and megan were girlfriends.
and you were to say no to your girlfriend?
you sighed, but your voice quickly turned into a much cheerier one. “alright, whatever my darling wants, she gets.”
“oh, get a fucking grip.” yunjin snorted, mocking you with the same words you’d used earlier.
she shook her head at you, her and sophia walking towards the car they’d come in. yunjin shouted back at you from where they were parked, telling you to follow behind her and she’d lead you to the drive-in.
while you and megan walked towards your own car, she leaned in close, her chin pressed against your forearm. “darling?”
you could already sense that teasing tone she had, pushing her away slightly. “shut up, i panicked.”
megan snickered at the top of her voice, her laugh echoing in the empty space around you and her. it didn’t take long for her laughter to die down, and she fell into little giggles here and there while you continued to walk, the car still quite a distance away. as you strolled together, like magnets, you and megan were pulled together, until your finger tips brushed against one another. your steps slowed down, walking in a leisurely pace, feeling content in the quiet that settled over you.
Tumblr media
yunjin and sophia were a few feet away, and much like you and megan, they too were sitting on the hood of the car. you could see yunjin’s arm draped over sophia’s arm, and you were proud that the girl finally found some confidence in herself amongst nervousness.
on the other hand, you sat with your arm to yourself, not needing to play the part of a fake girlfriend since yunjin and sophia were occupied.
megan had her eyes on you for quite some time, the movie being drowned out. it wasn’t that the movie wasn’t interesting — oh no, no. if anything, the movie was fascinating, yet her attention had been on you.
the twilight glow of the large movie screen illuminated your face. she stared up at you, as if memorizing your features. the sharp curve of your jaw, the length of your eyelashes, the slow blinks of your eyelids as you watched the movie.
it was rather difficult to ignore the feeling of her gaze on you, and after much time, you’d decided to call her out on it.
“i can feel you staring, y’know.” you tilted your head to look at her, raising an eyebrow. she looked away, now facing the large screen.
megan choked on a breath, “i-i wasn’t…! i was just admiring.” she explained, her erratic heart racing beneath her ribcage.
you hummed, leaning closer to her. “is it to your liking?” you questioned. it was now your turn to stare at her side profile, megan’s throat bobbing up and down as she swallowed nervously.
she glanced at you from her peripheral vision, “definitely.” megan concluded, finally turning to face you.
you didn’t realize exactly how close you were until she was looking at you, her honey eyes staring back into your own. your mouth dried, and for a moment you felt feint. megan was within such close reach, if you moved even an inch you’d be skin to skin with her, so close that you could smell the scent of her lip glass, and without realizing it, your eyes had dropped to her lips.
they shone despite it being dark out, courtesy of lighting from the big screen. they were pink, and looked as soft as ever.
it was brief, having your gaze on her lips, and then you looked back into her eyes, your mind feeling fuzzy. megan stared back at you, both of you silent, as if saying any word would shatter the tension that settled over you like a blanket. the stares continued, the eye contact becoming unbearable.
“i think we did another great job.” she murmured, voice shaky, the nerves obvious.
“we’re getting too good at this.” you breathed out, wanting to pull megan close, press her lips against yours.
megan nodded in agreement, as though you both knew this wasn’t pretend at all. the dark haired girl’s eyes fluttered down to your lips, but you’d denied one another the satisfaction, taking a sharp breath in and both turning to focus on the movie.
it was now you who stole glances, megan’s side profile was alluring. she looked stunning with her black hair, your jacket hanging off her shoulders, and— holy shit, when did megan look so good?
you knew megan definitely had admirers, given her beauty, but as you stared at her, longingly, she had never looked more captivating that in this moment.
this was megan in all her glory, and she was utter perfection.
your head spun, suddenly feeling your heart stutter and jump. your stomach felt queasy, being twisted and undone over and over. your mouth dried again. this feeling wasn’t new to you, many times before had you felt this way for other girls, but with megan, this was more — this was a deeper, raw, undeniable connection.
you looked away, attention now on the movie, your mind reeling from the sudden awareness that was no longer fake.
your hand dropped from where it was placed over your knee, so close to megan’s. she felt your hand drop, the thud heard on the hood of the car, and with the weight of her feelings, she unknowingly drew her hand closer to yours.
your hand reached outwards, nervously, you glanced down, watching the way your fingers would inch closer to hers, but you’d pull back, quickly, abruptly, like you’d been struck by lightning.
you swallowed, thinking to yourself. would megan mind if you grabbed her hand? would she pull away, deny you the comfort of her warmth?
it was inevitable, the way you and her found one another even in the dark night.
your fingers reached out, finding hers. silently, you stared ahead, as though the tingles you felt weren’t sending a jolt to your stomach and chest. megan’s fingers intertwined with yours, loosely hanging together, and much like you — even if she didn’t know how you felt — her own body had electricity dancing all over.
neither of you said a word. this quiet, tender moment allowing both of you to relish in the feelings. there was no one around, no one to pretend in front of, no one to fool.
you took this moment for yourselves, selfishly, uncaring, and greedily.

international love ~ huh yunjin (requested!)
a/n: Merry Christmas, everyone!! my Christmas present to y'all is the promise that I'm working on request, albeit slowly, but I'm getting there. loved writing this fic (yunjin my beloved), and I hope everyone else enjoys it just as much. And to the person that requested this, I hope this is what you were looking for. 🫶
tw: a bit of angst at the beginning that turns into fluff, long distance relationship, a bit suggestive at the end
word count ~ 1.7k
summary: you've been missing your girlfriend, huh yunjin, since she went to Korea to chase her dreams of becoming an idol. now that your career as an actor has taken off, the two of you have a chance to reunite in the city of dreams: NYC.
♡ Masterlist ♡
Tumblr media
"Babe."
You snap out of your thoughts at the sound of Yunjin's voice coming from your phone speaker.
"I'm listening, Yunjin, there's just some loud noises going on outside of my apartment." You bluff, hoping she'll buy it.
In truth, you hadn't been listening to her, but you had been thinking about her. She's been away in Korea for a year and a half, and you've been missing her presence as of late. Long distance worked for the two of you, when she wasn't busy with schedules and you weren't busy with your work.
As a rising American star, you had your own filming schedule to deal with. Movie production had just wrapped up for the night, and you know that Yunjin would be starting her day with interviews, dance practice, or whatever else kept her busy throughout the morning.
Whatever it was, she would often have a bit of downtime when the cameras turned off, and she'd pull out her phone and start messaging you. Messages turned into phone calls, and soon you'd find yourself talking to her face-to-face until she was interrupted by her manager, or your agent was calling you to confirm a booking of sorts.
The distance had been rough on you two, at first, but you looked forward to your nightly - and her daily - calls. Still, you couldn't help but miss hearing her laugh in person, the way her lips met your cheek every time you woke up together, or the feeling of her resting in your arms after a long day.
"Are your neighbors still practicing their drums at this hour?" Yunjin throws her head back and laughs, and every bit of you wishes that you could reach through the phone and kiss her at this moment.
There was no drumming to be heard but the beat of your heart in your eardrums, but you played along with her idea - it's better than any lie you could've come up with.
"Yeah, they're still at it. I wish they'd get picked up by a touring 80s band so I can have a night of peace." You draw out your sigh, which gets a stifled giggle from Yunjin.
"I wish I was there with you. I bet you'd forget about all that noise if you were with me." She teases as you widely smile.
"Me too, Yunjin, me too."
An all-consuming silence washes all over the both of you as thousands of words threaten to roll off your tongue.
I wish you'd come back to America. I wish I could come and visit you. I adore everything about you.
I miss you.
"Yunjin-ah, stop talking with them before the manager scolds you again!"
You hear Eunchae softly scold her older member as Yunjin shouts a reply that the microphone doesn't pick up.
"Sorry, babe, I've got to go. Same time tomorrow?" She tilts her head, and you nearly lose all composure at the gesture.
"Sounds good, darling. I love you, and I'm so proud of you." You softly say as Yunjin waves goodbye.
"I love you too-"
"YUNJIN-"
The call cuts off before you hear Eunchae lay into Yunjin, and you let yourself smile for a moment before laying your phone on the nightstand.
Your head hits the pillow as you close your eyes and imagine a world where there isn't thousands of miles between you and your lover.
~
"I have good news." Your lips almost betray you as Yunjin leans in towards you. "I'm headed to New York to do some promotion for the movie!"
Yunjin lets out a scream that would've been ear-shattering if you had been in the same room as her. She happily claps for you as you take a pretend bow.
"That's great! When are you going to New York?"
"Sometime in late October. My agent is working out the details now." You think back to your last conversation with your agent, where they happily told you that you will only have a couple of scheduled events over those two weeks. That means that you'd finally have a break, which was exactly what you needed at this moment.
You just found yourself wishing that Yunjin could be by your side for those two weeks.
Yunjin scrunches her eyebrows for a moment, deep in thought, before responding.
"Can't wait to hear about all of your amazing adventures. You'll take pictures, won't you?"
"Honey, you know that you're much better at photography than I will ever be," You hold back a laugh as Yunjin attempts to sway you by slightly pouting, "but I'll do my best for you."
The smile on her face reappears as she happily tells you all about her day, and the misadventures of her and the other members over the week.
"You girls sound like you have so much fun together." You comment after her last story, but she notices the way your lips turn downwards before recovering into a soft smile.
"Is everything alright?"
"I mean, I'm good, but I've been really missing you as of late."
"Aww, I've missed you too." Yunjin glances away from her phone for a moment before looking back at you. "Can I tell you something?"
"Of course." You nod as Yunjin sticks her pinky up towards her phone. "What are you doing?"
"You have to promise not to tell anyone."
"Yunjin, this is ridiculous-"
"Promise me." Her voice switches to a serious tone, which sends you backpedaling immediately.
"I promise." You stick up your pinky, and it takes everything in you not to laugh as you both shake your phones in agreement.
"Now that that's settled, I can tell you the good news: we're headed to America for some of our promotions."
"Yunjin, that's so exciting for you and the girls!" You proudly say. "You all deserve it, you've been busting your asses for a long time."
"I also may or may not have heard that we have a scheduled performance in New York..."
Your eyes light up the moment she mentions New York.
"Tell me when and where, as soon as you know. I'll be there, I promise you." Your heart quickens at the thought of Yunjin being near you again, but you know she probably wouldn't have time with all of her schedules.
You gently let yourself down as Yunjin glances away again.
"Oh shit, I'm gonna be late for dance practice. See you tomorrow!" She blows you a kiss before ending the call.
Tonight, you fall asleep with thoughts of Yunjin by your side.
New York, here I come.
~
NYC was the city of dreams. It was the place where you were first scouted, the first set for your first movie, and the first late night show that you were ever featured on was in NYC. You had a love for the bustling city and its endless streams of people, even as some of them pushed you to the side as you walked down the street.
After finishing your first interview with another cast member earlier in the week, you were done with promotions until the weekend. That left you with enough time to see LE SSERAFIM perform a few songs and do a close-up interview with fans. You didn't want to draw any attention to yourself, so you donned a face mask with a pair of sunglasses in order to draw attention away from yourself. Besides a few odd glances here and there, it tended to do the job.
You slipped into the back of the venue, with your agent by your side. They wanted to see the girl they'd been hearing about for months, and you wanted to get the girls a new fan. It was a win-win scenario for all.
The girls came out to loud screams from the crowd, and you absorbed yourself in their energy as you cheered along with them. You spot Yunjin from a mile away, but she won't recognize you.
You told her you'd be there, but you'd keep yourself hidden. You didn't want to start any rumors between yourself and the girls, considering how badly that could go for either of you.
Besides, with the help of a begrudging manager, you had something special planned for later in the night.
~
You anxiously await Yunjin in the hotel room while you're dressed in your finest clothes. She was supposed to be back a few minutes ago, the manager assured you, so everything was ready in time.
You had a spread of her favorite foods prepared by one of your favorite chefs in NYC. You'd also taken the luxury of getting a window-side room that opened up to the busy streets of NYC. The view was breathtaking, but you couldn't imagine anything looking better than Huh Yunjin walking through that door.
You immediately jump to attention when you hear someone fiddling with the doorknob. A few voices come from the outside, and you realize it's her members. They wish her a lovely evening, and you hear the confusion in Yunjin's voice until she opens the door and sees you.
Her eyes widen as she sets aside her luggage in time to receive your hug. She squeezes tighter than you do, and once you're both satisfied, you pull away enough to give her the kiss you've been waiting for.
Yunjin is sweet like cherries and refreshing like the ocean, so you're nearly knocked to the ground when her lips leave yours.
"I missed that," She breathlessly says before letting out a small laugh, "but I missed you more."
She pulls you in to kiss your cheek before grabbing her luggage and heading inside. You quickly close the door behind her before taking her hand and leading her around the room.
"You did all of this... for me?" The surprise in her voice is evident, as is the genuineness in yours.
"I knew that this might be the last time we see each other for a while, so I wanted to make it special, just for you."
"Just for me?" She's astounded, as if you wouldn't climb a thousand mountains to please her every whim.
"Love, I'd do anything to keep that smile on your face."
Her smile reappears as she drops her luggage off at the bedroom door. Yunjin turns back to you with a mischievous look on her face.
"Since we've got the place to ourselves, why not make up for lost time?"
You don't have to state your agreement before she pulls you in for another kiss. Thousands of kisses are shared that night, the night you won't forget until you and Yunjin are reunited once more.

Cursed beauty,, Ningning x f!reader

۫ ꣑ৎ fluff - love blooming between two choir members.
Notes: this is my first fic and English isn’t my first language at all, unfortunately there will be mistakes that I’m willing to fix! Criticism is accepted 💗. Plus I don’t know anything about a choir so I’m just using the limited knowledge I have.
Ningning x fem!reader
Heads up - subtle homophobia I think, religious guilt, bad choir knowledge, shitty parents or even family, you are a bad person yourself honestly, and it’s mainly fluff considering this my first fic here.. I’ll explore more darker fics definitely!! This is kinda my worst fic yet.
Life, what is life? In your parents’ view, it is to serve God in all ways possible, with no exceptions granted. Bring glory to his name, mindlessly follow the rules forwarded through the holy Bible, and repent relentlessly for any sin dared to be committed. Influenced by their mindset, you had no choice but to obey. Obey every order from an elder, to pour respect and effort into your actions to avoid consequences.
As a child, you isolated yourself from other children: who desperately tempted you to join in their malicious acts against the teachers or such. It was wrong, so you never engaged in the so-called fun. Friends, you barely had any. Although the elementary school you went to was strictly Christian, there was nobody to relate to or play with.
In your spare time, your childhood memories consisted of exploring the parts of the playground no one knew about, not even the staff. Peacefully, you sat in an abandoned part, playing with a few toys. It got lonely sometimes, but eventually, you got used to it. At least there weren’t high-pitched screams piercing through your ear drums every lunch.
It was peaceful back then, you were a perfect daughter every mother prayed for in the church. Praised for your mere existence and the little mess-ups you did were excused for having a ‘bad day’.
Most kids had no comment about you, some disliked you but the adults adored you.
You had a big advantage.
Remaining lovely and generous as a front, the secrets you have formed into a part of you. A part that no soul had any clue about. Lies and lies became a habit for you; your parents and teachers automatically believed you so it wasn’t hard to convince them.
Guilt easily ached your heavy heart soon enough, a voice behind your head pleading not to sin, again, again, again, and again. Distant memories cooped you in an endless hole of depravity, remember when you used to proudly relate to the priest’s preaching about anything? Honesty, kindness (not so really…), love, and honouring your mother and father. The basics, some speeches were aimed at the rebellious children forced to sit in the front, most of the time next to you, their naive parents believing you’ll rub them off with your bright soul.
You never bothered to interact with them, not even a glance batted at those.. freaks.
Growing up equalled growing sins in your hopeless terms and it never affected your lovely reputation. Only affects the inside. Unfortunately, visiting the church became more frequent, disturbing your spare time by helping out at charities (obviously only used to appear good) and forcing you to socialise at such events. At the end of the day, the one part prominent to you was cosying underneath your warm blankets and scrolling endlessly at what your overly strict parents considered ‘forbidden’ media.
The only time when you’re not pressured to fake a sickly smile to kittle teenagers stuck next to you at the seats or doing over-the-top decorations for a party, but your name was mentioned in the credits most of the time, so it’s a little worth it due to your outstanding ego.
One boring morning, your younger sister was still asleep, the kitchen had just you and your mother. It was normal, helping make breakfast for the rest of the family, and forcefully giggling at your mother’s awful jokes to be more appealing. To be the beloved favourite of hers. A suggestion, no, it meant a demand, piqued your interest in the dragged conversation.
“Y/n, dear, you should join the church’s choir.”
A choir? Never in your dreams, have you aspired to be in any music-related activities. Yes, you do a bit too much karaoke every week, never considering your singing ‘skills’. You believed you had talents in nothing except deceiving others.
Drawing.. you’ve tried before, but you terribly failed. Compared to your younger sister, you were like an infant holding a pencil for the first time. Knitting, no, you engaged it once to get along with the older ladies at one of the Bible sessions you were shoved into. Writing, you never picked up a pen besides for anything work-related so no. None of your stories were interesting at all, only criticism filled up your English essay.
Singing was never on your list yet you had no choice but to ‘enthusiastically’ accept the proposal.
“Ah, a choir? Mother, my singing skills aren’t the best.” You subtly tried to hint through your hesitation, but it didn’t work. That stuck-up bitch stuck in her fantasies of gaining more praise for raising you so ‘talented’ and ‘well’.
“Then you will improve, y/n. The choir is a perfect place to do so. Starting tomorrow, you’re going.” Without approval, your mother immediately made the reservation with a few texts on her phone. Scoffing under your breath, you bit your inner cheek to refrain from a sly remark against her.
“When.. mother?”
“10 am, with a fresh mind and you’ll have fresh vocals! Right, y/n?” Failing her expectations of you giggling at the terrible joke, you remained mute besides a lazy hum.
Unbothered to be involved with her any longer, you stormed off to the comfort of your own room upstairs. Closing the door with a noticeable thud, you doubt that your mother would hear that anyway as you let out a long, muffled sigh against your soft pillow.
You wanted to scream. God knows now how many days of the week are going to be wasted on something you would never be passionate about. And so early in the morning too? Are you a robot or something, do they expect for you to be all flowers and sunshines the moment you step into that horrible place again? Honestly, it’s better to be over with.
Whatever.
Dolled up, you evened out the lipgloss by pressing them together, focused on the pretty tint glazing over your smooth lips. At least you look good. Too focused on yourself, you unintentionally ignored your mother's strained yells from downstairs to get your rear down there.
When arrived, the usuals were here, some goodies and some... there was one girl you didn’t recognise well. At all. You never saw her around the church or even the area.
Tuning out the obnoxious choir practices nearby, you narrow your eyes to get a better look at her before being yanked over to introduce yourself better to the teacher who was thrilled to meet you. Briefly, you murmured a greeting, as your mother and the teacher spoke to one another, your mind drifted off to somewhere else. The unknown girl, who is she?
A new girl like you? In your case, you weren’t new, everybody knew you or at least heard about you around here of course. Just new in the choir. Either way, you had no control over your spiralling thoughts only containing a fleeting imagery of her, you barely saw her properly.
Finally, their prolonged conversation came to an end. Dragging your feet to one of the seats assigned to you, fortunately, you were at the back. With the stranger right next to you, a knot formed in the front of your throat involuntarily.
Anxiety, the feeling felt foreign for a person like you. Somehow, nobody had the guts to do anything for your heart to clench, your palms turning sweaty, your cheeks turning into a crimson red hue, and—
“Hey, are you okay? You seem nervous,” a strangely sweet voice pierced through your rambling inner voices all jumbled together, it made you have a headache now as a result. “H-Huh? Oh no... it’s nothing,” you breathed out, saying anything without a single thought. Even if it didn’t sound convincing in the slightest: usually this would be the opposite! Whoever was questioning was supposed to be nervous and you were the one feigning concern.
Curiosity had the best of you, your peering eyes took a peek of where the direction of that soothing voice came from. Expectingly, it was that new girl. Wishing you never looked, unintentionally having a fluttery heartbeat, you pinched your nose to snap out of it. Out of this. Ugh, probably this is occurring out of this weird nervousness.
Unfocused on the sets of instructions monotonously poured out to deal with; you could not care less to pretend to acknowledge it, there wasn’t any point in having a good first impression since that lady already heard the endless, exaggerated praises about you. Just like the rest, she’ll naively be comforted by the unintentional lies.
Setting the overly complex sheets in front of you as you followed the others, the words displayed upon them start to blur, replacing the unknown symbols with a barely familiar face. Her. Out of it, your eyes dawned, the spark eventually fading away as the daydreams consumed the concentration that lasted for a few seconds or so. Noises from the others tuned out, you were only focused on your heavy breathing.
Warmth occupied your side, jerking you away from the clear distraction lingering around. Unaware you just attracted it instead. “The teacher told me to help you since you looked… unfamiliar with this environment.” There it goes again, the voice magically casting a blossom of butterflies in your stomach. And the fucking irony in the sentence, isn’t that girl the one new here anyways?
Help you? Today must be Opposite Day, right? Always, you’ve been nudged to help the unwilling teens with the activities, letting their hatred for the latter become a beautiful thing: passion. (The one thing you cared about the so-called ‘passion’ was getting your name in the credits, to be the one who inspired them).
“I don’t need help.” You affirmed and the forced smile displayed didn’t convince much with your nails clawing the wooden desk underneath subtly in growing irritation for the blissfully unaware other.
“May I stand with you to appear as if I’m helping you, then?” No, of course not! The sentence was the perfect example of your burning hatred formed against her, to sway her away from you as far as possible. Just before, she was so.. captivating. Now, she is straight-up annoying and insensitive. Looks do perceive.
“Tell your name,” a thought blurted through your clenched teeth, manifested in the air like an unsettling and disgusting grumble. Which does not suit your appearance. At all.
“Ning, Ning Yizhou. I prefer people to call me by Ningning.” The last information was not needed, you have no desire for your precious title to be in the same sentence with this bitch's name.
Leaning near, your burning eyes locked in her curious ones. “Listen here, Yizhou. Just fucking stay out of my way, hm?” Those harsh words flatly uttered from your pink, glossy lips that the girl couldn't help but take note of. Evidently caught off-guard, nobody could blame her for the conflicted feelings churning in her. You were described as the epitome of an angel, nonetheless, acted so audacious towards her. Isn't she supposed to be treated better on the first day since she is new? Not that she is special or anything, maybe it is her fault to have such high expectations. Especially from you.
Obliging a smile to restrain the shaky suspires, a transparent clue to her vulnerability, she inhaled for you not to notice how affected she was. How sensitive she was. Your warning made sense though, she should stray away from you as far as the old town on the coast she came from. Did anybody hear about the incident over there? Has it gone all over different places, to be a lesson for children not to desperately try to fulfil their fantasies? Forbidden fantasies.
Did you know about it? Hopefully not, it's one of the shameful excuses she had left to move from the past. From that hell. God had mercy upon her for once in a while except for her abruptly changing towns, the first lesson was briefly 20 minutes resulting in it feeling like a fleeting leaf in the autumn wind. To let the uncomfortable students adapt to the environment.
Girls huddled around separately away from the boys to avoid such scoldings and gossip, some giggled high-pitched constantly eyeing them behind their shoulder with no care of getting caught by the miserable elder ladies who had no purpose but to humiliate others beneath them.
You had no choice, with a huff and rolling your eyes expressing your obvious displeasure, joined in. Eavesdropping their confessions amidst the loud whispers, you committed in memory just in case one of these swine messed around with you. As if they had the guts to do so in the first place.
Unknown to you, Ning joined in subtly, keenly listening at the back. Some girls noticed she wasn't familiar, so the best thing in the plan they had in their non-existent brains was to interrogate her. Kindly, of course.
"You're the new girl, right?" Hesitation marred Ning's features before stiffly nodding the confirmation, a smile plastered on her lips. Questions chirped in, analysing her whole character shamelessly.
"What's your name?"
"Where are you from?"
"You're very pretty, how'd you do your make-up?"
"Why did you come here? No offence."
"Are you that lesbo from Warthford?"
What? Knitting your eyebrows together, all the girls fell abruptly silent at the absurd question. You did too, confusion and a weird sense of protectiveness clouding your judgement.
"Your name is Ning Yizhou—and that lesbo's name was that too— I've heard." Nonchalantly, the girl explained with a lazy shrug to excuse herself. Indignation bubbled up inside you, your morals finally screaming at you to do something about this nonsense.
"Rachel, when can you shut the fuck up for once?" Suddenly, you subconsciously forced yourself into the irritating conversation that obviously was meant to degrade the other girl: subtly. You knew how these religious hypocrites were. Always careful in their words, the meaning is hidden behind their affectionate facade heavily contrasting.
The girl, Rachel, unmistakably appalled at how boldly you spat those words directly at her stood there frozen at a loss of words to justify herself. Or try to stand up for herself, to you? In her hopeless dreams perhaps.
“Apologise.” No obligations were needed, that bitch had to sense even her friends eyed her expectingly, although secretly disappointed in how this encounter went against their wants.
Timid silence was all you got, words unable to now spew from her rotten-spoken mouth. Did you really have to repeat yourself?
“Why aren’t you apologising yet?” Tauntingly tilting your head towards the girl, you stared at her with exaggerated wide eyes. The other girls around including Ning didn’t dare to interfere, only acting, not wanting to be under your wrath as well.
“Why would I?” Shocking.
“Because you were being rude to her, no?” You deadpanned as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“I don’t care.” The audacity, you wanted to beat sense into that whore quick.
Pressing your lips tightly to prevent any obscene insults learnt from the internet, your hands palmed into fists. Most of the time, you argue with your younger sister, screaming at her explicit and vile remarks for that rat to snitch on you. Yet nobody believes her. So funny, now it’s this cunt’s turn to experience it.
No doubt your sister loathes you, trying to spread scandalous rumours about you in her school, resulting in getting caught by your close ‘friends’ in the process. Her reputation was at stake too as one of the many consequences she had, the way she’s tolerated just because you’re her older sister.. how upsetting indeed.
Anywho, you yanked her collar close out of nowhere causing startled gasps from the others. “Rachel,” a threat clear under those plainly spoken words, your eyes firmly maintained eye contact with hers. “Tsk, it’s like you’re begging me to leak those pics of you.” Quietly, you made sure nobody eavesdropped that except her, making sure that she knew well how much of a grip you really had on her.
Eventually, the girl gave in stubbornly, ushering a whispered apology which you did not let Ning accept.
“Again, it’s too quiet, I only heard crickets.”
Yet not giving her any chances to finish her mumbling speech, firmly interrupting her carelessly and had full advantage since she and nobody else could say anything about it.
“Yizhou, you shouldn’t accept this filthy apology.” The ‘shouldn’t’ in your vocabulary literally equalled ‘mustn’t’, not that the latter didn’t know because from her (disturbingly specific) mental analysis of you, you were the type to be like that. Not like that she minds, it is the opposite.
“It’s okay, Regina, right?” Pent-up laughter burst out from the other girls at the silly unintentional mistake Ning who didn’t notice herself made, the other girl grumbled grudgingly “Rachel.”
Before Ning seized the opportunity to pathetically blabber nervous apologies for her frequent uncontrollable habits she kept, fortunately, the girl was gone and you let out an exasperated sigh purposefully to draw her attention.
“Yizhou, let’s go.” Just like your infuriating mother, you did inherit some personality traits from her besides the intimidating beauty, such as how boldly demanding you are. No suggestions, no protests, and no questions asked, you clearly expected Ning to follow along obediently with her pretty lips sewed shut.
Shock was written all over her face, she hesitated, before eventually trailing behind you like a lost stray dog out of the church.
“..Uhh, why am I with you right now?” The question turned out sharper than she intended, it’s not that she didn’t like being near you. Even when she only met you earlier back for the first time. Something about you in general, no matter how incredibly rude you were, drew Ning in blindly.
“Don’t you want to be?” With no thought, your eyes drifted back to the direction you sauntered, there was no location in mind. A walk outside is best to wind down, is what you planned, for some reason you automatically assumed Ning is the sort to like those types of activities. Specifically when it is placed in nature.
Tension warred between you two, yet you didn’t notice at all, perfectly content with the thickened atmosphere. “I-I do, of course I do. You seem nice to hang out with.” Politely, Ning chirped in, internally a panicking mess that she came off too rude. Not knowing you came across many ruder incidents, so you didn’t care one bit. It’s not like she can be capable of being so mean, especially towards you.
“Hmm,” lazily humming along, your gaze focused on Ning’s face that you didn’t realise how… attractive it was so up close, her breath hitched at the realisation how your noses nearly touched each other.
“Aren’t you a little too close?” Teasingly, you tilted your head: suppressing a giggle at how easily a red hue coloured her cheeks, yet she stilled. Not moving one inch away from your body.
You enjoyed it.
“I want to be, may I?” Taken aback immediately, you simply blinked slowly at her desperately trying to grasp what she just asked with such determination flaming in her eyes. Is this a joke? A prank?
You two aren’t familiar with each other, although you craved her more than you realised. Your breaths turned sharper than usual, becoming ragged pants as a crimson red painted your entire sweaty face. Embarrassingly; this is the first time you ever felt like this. A fucking hot mess.
“Yizhou—“
“Ningning.” She cuts off firmly, keeping eye contact with you daring for you to say anything else about the silent arrangement.
Continuing on with your words, you mumbled, shakiness creeping up with your jumbled-up gibberish. “Ningning, we’re in public. I’d... I’d rather not get caught.” The reputation you worked on, you wouldn’t even risk for this mysterious girl that you really wanted to label as an admirer. Hopefully, shortly, you will have the possibility to do so.
“I’m not kissing you or anything, what’s there to be caught of? Were you hoping that I did?” Completely frozen, you gawked at her, not knowing what else to jab back at her. Right now, you feel like Rachel and it’s safe to say you hate it.
You woelly did hope for her to lean in, and softly pamper your lips with her sweet lipgloss. How fucking pathetic are you behind the tough front?
“Kiss me.” You finally whispered.
“Kiss you,” Ning echoed softly, a smile stretching her lips that you so badly wanted to devour at this point. You didn’t care if you were like a pathetic puppy in dear need of affection, you needed her. Bad.
Expecting a full-on make-out session, instead, you had disappointing yet many disgusting butterflies invading your stomach involuntarily hasty peck on the corner of your lips.
“You need to try harder to get that kiss, baby.” Next thing you know— Ning gave you a teasing air kiss— before disappearing within your blurred sight with tears. Tears of frustration.
Oh, how you wanted to slap her!
How hopefully you wanted to slap your lips against hers.
“NINGNING, YOU FUCKING BITCH!”

The straps of Byulyi's outfit are neatly tied at her abs with a delicate lace just over her belly button. Your hand is under its thin fabric, feeling it tightening and loosening over your fingers as her breathing rhythm stays ragged. It poses a weak resemblance to how her inner walls once clenched on your digits — what's left of that now sticks to her stomach, on a trail that accuses you of contouring Byulyi's ab muscles with her own juices.
Her unintelligent and whispery requests bring a smile to your lips. On a usual day, Byulyi has a way with words, unless under your spell.
"Any trouble with saying something, huh? What you wanna tell me, babe?"
Instead of speaking, she simply holds your hand and slides it down to the place that just got the most attention from you. Your fingers merely ghost past her folds — enough to elicit a shy moan from the rapper's mouth.
Even the slightest increase in pressure against her vulva seems too much at this point. Her face contorts, but the sounds she makes are from pleasure. "Cute," you whisper, moving closer to her core, making sure that your warm breath is felt against it, "so sensitive because of me."
Two digits slip into her without a hint of friction, and Byulyi has no time to think before your tongue joins in stimulating her clit. Even though she seems like in a dazed state, her hip movements meet your thrusts halfway. Eyes widened, mouth agape with no sound coming out of it — until a loud ah is let out accompanied by a flood that soaks your palm.
You gasp against her intimacy, mouth letting her personally know just how much you appreciate her efforts. Because Byulyi has earned it, you allow her to ride out the remaining climax with a tender passing of your tongue throughout her labia and clit, sweetly devouring every drip she gives you.
Upon getting up, the vision escalates from her abs, which contract and relax as Byulyi gasps for air, to her head that faces up, eyes lost in the ceiling. While not knowing that you're looking, she mouths an I love you and smiles lopsidedly.
You mouth it back, knowing she won't see it either.

MAGIC
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: photographer!kminji x model!designer!fem!reader
trope: enemies to lover! forced proximity! grump and sunshine! opposites attract! matchmaking!
synopsis: kim minji, an aspiring international photographer tries to convince a growing designer to feature in her pictorial for an international magazine. minji offers her a bet to make her a bride but in the process failed to keep her promise and her own principle.
"i hate - hate that idiot!" y/n threw the photo album of her client's recent photoshoot for their wedding as soon as she sees an awkward picture taken of her by non other than kim minji herself. y/n gritted her teeth in anger as her friend looked at her and laughed nervously. y/n stood up and was then followed by her friend around her house. "o-oh y/n! come on, calm down!" hanni told her friend as she stormed outside.
y/n looked at her friend and stomped. "calm down!? that prick has been doing this to me for almost so long!" y/n heard hanni sigh. "i mean, there must be something else we can do other than suing her." hanni spoke, following y/n as the girl turned to hanni with a frown. "tell me exactly what," y/n looked at hanni before she groaned and shook her head as she gripped her hair. "i hate her! i'll tell my mom about her stupid ass!"
hanni ran up to her and pulled her hands, looking at her friend with a smile. "you know what your mom would say right?" she asked, raising her eyebrows at her friend. y/n sighed as she rolled her eyes. "that minji is funny and nice?" hanni nodded. "exactly! you know they're besties and all..." hanni laughed as she sat on the couch, she looked at her friend as y/n stomped her feet. "and besides, everyone makes sure to get you two as a package, event planner and the cameraman." hanni's remarked made y/n more even frustrated that she's basically stuck with that jerk until the day she dies; well unless someone takes her away from minji.
which at this point, seems impossible.
minji huffed as she picked up the pictures she took after the wedding of y/n's client, frustration wells inside her as she tried to convince her cousin to let her pictures be shown to the magazine yunjin is working at. "how come you haven't accepted none of the pictures i gave you? isn't your magazine about life? there? pictures from wedding ceremonies." minji sighed as she spoke, yunjin walked towards minji inside the house danielle and minji shared together.
"these pictures are great minji, that's what makes you better than most photographers nowadays." yunjin picked up one photo from the pile. "like this, it's great." she placed it back down again.
"but the thing is, we've featured a wedding ceremony from last year. if we do again people might thing it's repetitive." yunjin explained, minji shook her head as she sighed.
danielle made her way downstairs with a bunch of newly printed pictures too, she took one step and slipped. "dani!" minji shouted as she looked up at the girl who fell on her butt on the staircase. "are you okay?" yunjin asked, danielle laughed sheepishly. "yeah, it kind of hurts." she muttered.
yunjin helped pick up the fallen pictures on the floor, she picked up one particular frame of y/n, an awkward picture of her in the wedding of her own client. "who is this? she looks familiar." yunjin asked.
minji looked at her cousin and spoke. "kang y/n, she's the designer of the wedding i worked at." she answered, yunjin smiled brightly as she showed minji the picture. "you know, i can get you in the magazine if you get me in contact with her. this girl is rising from her funky designs and interesting works." yunjin stated, minji sighed as she nodded.
minji shook her head as she chuckled. "funky? you mean weird?" she laughed, yunjin looked at minji as she shrugged. "that's not what i meant, i saw some of her works, didn't she work for her sister's debut party?" yunjin spoke, minji stood and looked at her cousin. "...yeah."
yujin smiled and blushed, scratching the back of her head. "you know... maybe you can get a feature in your magazine, just as long as it's about her." she said, minji hesitated for a bit before she spoke.
"if i do, i'll get a photoshoot with her and feature it on your magazine, correct?" minji raised her eyebrows and yunjin smiled. "of course." she said.
y/n brought her book down, sighing after hours of working on a gown design for another wedding. how many designs has she made for other people's wedding? y/n couldn't even count it, it's ironic how most of her works involved couples, but she's never been in a relationship in her whole life.
at the age of 20, y/n seems to struggle being able to find the one for her. y/n believes in love, the magic of it, she saw it on her parents, how her mother loved her father; she promised herself she'll experience that kind of love but it seems quite hard to achieve now.
while pondering about love and the complexity of it, y/n sees minji's face from outside her shop, she furrowed her brows at the sight of her face. minji entered inside the shop with a huge smile and y/n did not forget to scowl at minji. "what are you doing here?" she asked, standing up and crossing her arms. minji laughed and offered a tray of freshly made mac n' cheese. "here, i just wanted to visit." minji smiled, y/n scowled at her as she watched minji place the tray on her table.
"spit it out, you need something right?" she said, minji laughed sheepishly as she scratched the back of her head. "ah, actually... i need your help." she awkwardly flashed y/n a strained smile.
"no." y/n answered. danielle entered the office and took the mac n' cheese to the kitchen of the shop while the two were busy bickering.
"i haven't even told you the details yet," minji sighed as she spoke, slumping her shoulders. "no need, i won't say yes anyway." y/n said, the air inside the shop turned intense as minji rolled her eyes and followed y/n who walked further the shop and inside her office. "y/n i'm serious, for me this is a once in a lifetime offer." minji said, y/n looked at minji and raised an eyebrow at her. "well for me it isn't." she simply said as she entered inside the office.
minji watched as y/n walked behind her desk before she spoke. "i'll find you a date, that's what you need right? a date, a boyfriend or girlfriend. if i find the perfect match, you'll let me take you to the pictorial." minji said, y/n looked at her in disbelief at such a crazy proposal. y/n gritted her teeth as she squinted her eyes at minji.
"don't piss me off minji. i don't need your help." she said, minji whined as she pouted. "come on! consider this as help to me and for you!" minji begged as she followed y/n around, y/n looked behind as she walked around her desk, noticing minji tailing her behind. y/n groaned. "oh stop it! why would i even think of helping you?" she yelled, rolling her eyes.
hanni entered the office as she watched the two walking around the office. "uh, guys?" she asked, y/n stomped as she faced minji with a glare. "you, stop this nonsense already." y/n walked outside her office with minji following her behind. "i won't stop till you say yes." minji persisted as they exited the store, with minji gaining perseverance to follow y/n.
the crowd outside was like the usual, civilians did what they did while minji and y/n continued their chase.
as they walked around the street, people looked at them, some were curious and others were bothered by the bickering duo. "no!" y/n yelled. "help! help!" minji shouted, y/n greeted her teeth as she looked at minji. "shut up!" she yelled as people passed the street with bustling vehicles.
minji sighed and slumped her shoulders. "consider this as your help to me, after this i'll leave you alone." as she spoke, there was silence only between them that followed. y/n stopped with her tracks as she sighed, rolling her eyes. she turned to minji with a frown. "how am i supposed to care and believe that you'll stop making my life a living hell?" she spoke, minji sighed as she scratched her nape.
"because i need this opportunity to reach the international field... and i know i've been a huge asshole to you but listen, i am not lying when i tell you this will be the last time..." minji looked at minji as the crowd slowly disappears, it's just the two of them now.
"fine. after i find a lover, you get that pictorial and then leave." y/n declared, minji looked away as she sighed in defeat, nodding meekly. "yeah, sure." she muttered.
minji held her phone against her ears as she tried to reach y/n with a phone call, she waited as the other line continued to ring. "where the hell is she?" she muttered, today is supposed to be the day that minji introduces the first candidate as y/n's lover; future lover to be exact.
y/n answered, she grumbled as she held the phone between her shoulder and chin. "yeah? what's up minji?" she asked, minji scoffed as she entered inside a stationery shop. "what do you mean what's up? your first date is scheduled later and we're supposed to meet each other today, right?" she asked, clarifying the agreement they made. y/n sighed as she wrote down the lists of what her client wanted on their daughter's birthday.
"oh i forgot about that, can we postpone in today? later i'll be coming to the date, i promise." she muttered, smiling at her client.
minji looked at her phone and whispered "what?" under her breath, before bringing her phone close to her ear again. "listen, if you want to find a lover, manage your time; it's important. learn how to manage your time to accommodate your date, it's unfair." she scolded y/n only to receive a scoff. "i don't want to hear your nonsense, besides, you're not my date, and i know what to do." y/n answered, minji took a deep breath as she shook her head and sighed.
as soon as the clock strikes 8pm, minji tapped her shoes looking around outside the restaurant, waiting for you. danielle looked at your date inside the venue. "ah, can you wait for a little? you know y/n is a very busy woman." she laughed sheepishly, the date nodded and smiled at danielle. "it's alright." he said as danielle excused herself and walked over to minji.
the street lamps looked alive outside, the light on top of minji continued to blink as she grumbled. "don't you know where she is?" danielle asked, minji sighed and shook her head. "i wish i knew." she muttered.
she leaned back on the wall, groaning in annoyance. "why does she have to take so long?" minji muttered, danielle sighed. "i told you this would be a bad idea." she told minji who only shook her head.
as she was about to reply, minji saw y/n walking inside the restaurant, and before she could walk up to her, danielle pulled minji's wrist. "minji, let her be. she got this." she said, minji shifted her eyes at danielle and nodded reluctantly.
the next day, minji fixed her shirt as she stared at herself on the mirror, danielle walked down the stairs of their shared apartment. "you going out again?" she asked, minji looked at danielle though the reflection of the mirror and nodded before turning around to her. "yes, i need to ask how the date went."
danielle shrugged and walked over to minji. "are you sure? i think we should really just give this up." she said, minji looked at her in disbelief. "what? this is like a one shot to success... if i don't get this then i don't have another opportunity again." she sighed and shook her head.
danielle nodded. "but i think, forcing y/n to go on multiple dates is just hard. we do it in such a short interval too... of course she won't find the one she truly likes." minji grumbled and rolled her eyes. "it's cause she has such a high standard." minji muttered walking over to their living room where danielle followed her.
"minji, you can't blame her. you've seen her mother right? she grew up in such a loving home, of course she wants to be with someone she'll love." minji slumped down the couch as she stared at the tv. "i just don't get it." minji muttered.
danielle stared at her friend and sighed. "i know, i know. i understand why, also we're running out of time too..." danielle is growing worried about how much time minji is giving for the dates, it's almost like she couldn't prioritize their business. "it's cause no one wants to date her." minji grumbled under her breath.
"well, would you?" danielle asked. minji looked at danielle as she thought of an answer before pouting and shaking her head. "of course not, i don't have time for that." she answered causing danielle to laugh. "it's cause she's so uptight, right? always busy, and a little crazy... but i think it's cause you're afraid of committing." danielle chuckled. "all of the other people who refused to date her too, because they know y/n is serious." danielle added as minji denied with a shake of her head.
the doors of their apartment opened to yunjin entering inside, she excused herself as she closed the door. minji stood up and walked over to her. "yunjin! you're back." she walked over to her cousin and her cousin smiled back at her. "so how is it?' yunjin asked, minji froze on the spot as she chuckled. "ow yeah, i still haven't gotten her to say yes." she buried her hands on her pockets as she answered.
yunjin shook her head and sighed. "what will we do? the deadline's this week." she said, minji grumbled as danielle watched behind her. "i don't know too." minji sighed and walked around scratching the back of her head. "what's so hard about asking her though?" yunjin asked, following minji with her eyes.
"ah, i made a promise with her but it's taking too long..." minji turned her back to both yunjin and danielle as they shared a look and danielle smiled meekly at yunjin. "what's the problem? can't we ask her together?" yunjin proposed, minji turned to her and looked at her cousin. "you will?" she asked.
minji was hesitant, she knew her cousin had a liking for y/n and it was obvious, she never told yunjin about her deal with y/n and now she regret not saying so. there was no reason for her to be afraid about what might develop, but why was she unsure?
danielle spoke even before minji did. "of course why not? y/n might be smitten over you and say yes!" yunjin smiled and chuckled, a clear blush present on her face.
"you think so?" she asked, minji swallowed and nodded. "probably..." she muttered.
"what do you want to talk about now you monkey!?" y/n stomped inside the living room of her house as minji followed, she's tired of her bullshit, and so is minji. after a argument regarding y/n's lack of interest with her dates and minji's lack of consideration, it led them inside here.
"listen here! i'm tired of your shit! can't you just listen to me for once?" minji shouted as y/n turned to her with a glare. "enough with this deal! i can't stand having to force myself go on dates with men and women you choose out of a bunch of idiots!" y/n yelled, minji took a deep breath as she pushed y/n on the couch. "what the hell!?" she yelled.
minji pointed at her as y/n stood up. "shut up!" she pushed y/n on the couch. "shut up! i said shut up!" she yelled with full force as y/n looked up at her and closed her mouth. "you're such a spoiled brat!" minji yelled, y/n looked up at her as she leaned on the couch. "what did you just say?" she asked in disbelief. minji swung her arm as she grumbled. "i said you're a spoiled brat! almost 30 dates later and still nothing! and you wonder why no one wants to be with you!?" minji yelled, y/n sniffled as she looked up at minji.
"aren't you doing this for your career's sake? i only said yes so you'd leave me alone you jerk!" minji turned around and cursed her her breath. "today's the deadline! i'm not getting anything!" she yelled, y/n looked at her and scoffed. "as if that's my fault." she rolled her eyes.
"how are we supposed to do something for ourselves? how am i supposed to help you? you hate me and don't listen! you're so crazy and you want to do things your way! it takes two to tango you know!?" minji rubbed her forehead. y/n sobbed as she wiped her tears. "i know, i'm unlovable." minji scoffed.
"i never said that, you just don't know how to behave." minji muttered, she walked over to the doorway and leaned on the border. "you need to listen, we can work things out..." she added, y/n stood up and walked over beside minji. "i'm behaved, i'll listen to you now." she muttered, minji looked at her and stared at her face.
it's ridiculous, she knew how much y/n wanted to feel loved, how ready she is. whenever she looked at y/n, it feels weird.
minji turned around to look at y/n, her round eyes baring a kind of vulnerability in them at that moment, it felt like she was betting on something she wouldn't likely win, and throwing away something that meant a lot.
"it's not like you're unlovable, it's just that you're stubborn." minji pushed herself off the door frame, looking at y/n. "plus, i just don't get it." she muttered, y/n stared at minji and tilted her head. "what do you mean you don't get it?" she asked the tall girl. minji scoffed, scratching the back of her head.
"you know, why you feel so pressured to fall in love. we're both wrong, we can't force things and except something to grow in a short amount of time." minji sighed as she crossed her arms, shifting her eyes to the floor. "you have it all, you're smart, pretty, artistic, kind, you even have the ideal family." minji said, chuckling.
y/n looked at minji as her lips tugged in a small smile. "but every guy you've approached didn't like me, right?" minji scoffed. "they're just stupid." minji said as she looked at y/n. "none of them wants to take things seriously like you do..."
y/n shrugged as she stood beside minji, the raven-haired one looked at y/n, there was a long pause between them until y/n spoke.
"you? you've never thought of being in a serious relationship?"
minji chuckled. "hell no," she scoffed playfully. "not my thing." y/n sent her a glare. "so you're not different huh?"
minji smiled at y/n, her eyebrows relaxing. "i don't want to settle down, those guys and me are different - i have valid reasons." she spoke. "unlike them, i have goals. i don't fool around with strangers. i don't give them time, i want to be successful and that's the only thing i want." minji shook her head as she chuckled.
y/n looked at her, a small, fond smile plastered upon her face. "i wonder why, it didn't really make sense to me." she muttered, minji looked at her as she shrugged. "i just feel like it's gonna take away my freedom," she paused, looking away. "every couple i know, who married each other - guess what? divorced. if not divorced, depressed, forcing themselves to stay together, and for what? their kids? marrying someone is like, saying goodbye to the great things and saying hello to your biggest fears ever." she laughed under her breath.
y/n watched as minji blinked. "i always dreamt of marrying someone and having a relationship like my parents had." y/n muttered. "i mean, i haven't lost hope yet." she added. minji looked at y/n, immediately shifting her gaze away when she stared for too long.
"my parents? separated. mom's away with a new boyfriend, dad is with his new family." minji spoke. y/n looked at her face, there's a long pause again as they indulged themselves to the tranquil of the gentle evening.
minji looked at y/n, they stared at each other as minji smiled. "maybe, destiny will send you someone." minji said.
"yunjin, my friend. she's a creative of a magazine, you know the asian lifestyle magazine. it's pretty popular." minji said, patting yunjin's shoulder. y/n smiled, taking a deep breath as she stretched her hand out. "yunjin, this is y/n. she's a designer, she owns that shop that plans events and designs them." yunjin and minji had agreed to keep the deal they promised, they promised not to tell y/n about it. yunjin gave y/n a smile, reaching for her hand. "nice to meet you." yunjin said, y/n kept her smile. "same, here."
y/n's energetic aunts call for yunjin, inviting her for a quick lunch. although they have always thought that minji will eventually be with their niece, they hadn't expected yunjin to come along.
minji looked at y/n as the latter watched yunjin with her aunts, she shifted her eyes to where they were. "they're cool with her." minji muttered, y/n chuckled, looking over to minji. "you're still their favorite though." minji looked at y/n and laughed. "of course, even your mom does."
y/n and minji stared at each other before minji immediately broke the eye contact as soon as yunjin called for y/n. "what?" y/n asked, she laughed and ran over to her aunts and yunjin.
y/n's mom stood behind minji, beside danielle who looked at y/n's mom. "what do i do if i want something and like i really want it bad?" danielle asked. the older woman spoke. "then i do something to have it,"
danielle sighed. "what if i don't know if i want it? and i haven't realize that i want it? then someone else also wants it?" she asked, minji turned to look at them. "then that means you're stupid." y/n's mom answered, before making an eye contact with minji who looked away. "right, that makes me stupid." she said.
"you're running out of time." the older and wiser woman spoke, as if delivering the message to minji. "what?" the raven-haired girl asked. "i meant, you're supposed to deliver photos to your house, right?" minji stood frozen, she looked behind as danielle ran away.
"hey! you! come back!" minji shouted before running to catch danielle.
that was minji's mistake, the magazine offer was right in her hands, but it felt unfulfilling. she stood by the gate of y/n's house waiting for her. the past few weeks felt like torture, y/n was straying farther every second she spends with yunjin, it was her mistake.
the latest news about them is that, they're really getting very close, y/n mentioned once that if she and yunjin actually agreed on settling things together, they might fly to the states. only a few weeks left too... minji chucked out a small piece of rock with her shoes, standing outside at night waiting for y/n to arrive, from yunjin's car.
as minji sees yunjin's car from afar, she stayed on the same corner, waiting for y/n.
minji watched as y/n stepped out of the car, minji's lips bends over to a small frown as she noticed y/n stepping out, alone. yunjin usually opened the door for her or at least would walk her towards her place, y/n rushed to the gate of her house almost ignoring minji's existence.
"y/n, what's wrong?" she asked, y/n looked up at minji. there were stains of tears on her face, her eyes swollen as she looked at minji and felt like breaking down in tears again. "what's wrong?" y/n asked in disbelief, she laughed sarcastically as she furrowed her brows. "are you seriously asking me that?"
minji blinked, putting her hands on her hips as she shook her head. "i don't... no, i don't understand what you mean." she said, minji looked around as she shrugged. "wait, can we just be clear for a moment? did something bad happen? why are you crying?"
y/n looked at minji and clenched her fist, she threw a hit on minji's shoulder, causing the raven-haired girl to hiss. "you!" y/n pointed at minji. "you promised that if you ever find me a date, i'll appear in your pictorial and you'll leave me alone..." y/n paused, aggressively pointing at her. "and i agreed to that, right?"
minji nodded. "you did."
y/n glared at her. "tell me, why you never told me that yunjin and you had a deal." minji sighed as she looked away. y/n pushed minji with both hands. "you two fooled me?! you didn't even tell me that she's your cousin and you're trying to get a feature in her magazine by using me?"
y/n stormed inside her house, slamming the door open as hanni and haerin heard the commotion downstairs and walked to see what was happening in the living room from the stairs.
"y/n, yunjin likes you a lot! we just had an agreement, i didn't think it would be that serious!" minji entered, standing behind y/n. y/n turned around to look at minji, eyes tearing up. "of course you wouldn't think so, you made me believe that it was genuine. i thought the deal was over? i thought you were over the deadline. i thought you actually wanted me to be with someone who you genuinely see fit with me."
minji's shoulders slumped, she did mention the deadline.
y/n sobbed. "you introduced me to yunjin because it was the most convenient choice..." minji took a few steps back as the whole room grew silent.
"but i thought you'd settle with her?" minji looked away, swinging her arms. "if you love her then why immediately throw everything away?" she asked. y/n turned her back to minji, sighing.
minji placed her hands on her sides. "you know what? i'm sorry for hiding the truth. but i swear, i was telling the truth when i said it was indeed the deadline that yunjin gave me, we talked again and she offered that if i set you two up she'll give me another chance. i'm sorry okay? it's all my fault."
y/n shook her head, wiping her tears. "don't ask me anything about yunjin, this isn't about her."
minji huffed, her thick eyebrows furrowed as she puffed her cheeks. "look, it's a deal between us. i'm sure it's not over yet, right? i'll get rid of that magazine..." minji's voice softened as she finished her words.
"are you two still together?" she asked.
y/n shook her head looking at minji. "it's over. i wouldn't want to stay, it wasn't for me."
"that fast?" minji asked, a sense of dread, feeling guilty and sad over her cousin washed over her and maybe a sense of hope, it wasn't over yet at least for her.
y/n glared at minji. "i don't want to talk about it." minji shrugged. "then what do you want to talk about?" she asked, y/n took a deep breath.
"us, about us." she said. minji blinked her eyes, looking down.
"just when i was slowly warming up to you? you suddenly let me down like that?" y/n asked, walking over to minji. "you made me feel like for a moment, i mattered and i was loved. i thought you understand me?" minji listened, rubbing her cheek.
"i do, i was just selfish. i thought it was a good idea, it was a win for me, you, yunjin. i thought it was fair." minji scratched the back of her head as she spoke sheepishly.
y/n shook her head. "it's not about what i gain, it's not about whoever that person is. to me, i care about the sentiments and the promises. minji, i thought it meant something. that night?"
hanni looked at haerin with wide eyes as they listened from the stairs.
"i know... i was genuine, that night yes... however, i was just tempted at the idea of the opportunity in front of me." minji muttered.
"i know that, didn't you tell me that? i thought you sharing those feelings of yours meant that we were getting closer, that it's something deep." y/n expressed her feelings with words that conveyed how frustrated she was, she didn't understand the gravity of her feelings for minji, how much minji meant to her.
"was i just another bridge to that success? didn't you want to at least share that with me too?" y/n asked.
minji shook her head, pacing around the living room. "i wanted you to be happy, and when i said i'd find you a lover i meant that. did yunjin not love you?" minji turned to y/n. "i'm not lying when i said i genuinely wanted it to be fair for us..."
y/n and minji stared at each other, thousands of unsaid feelings rumbling inside their heart.
"fair? i never wanted to lead yunjin like that... it felt nice for a while, but when you kept talking about how much it would be a waste to not give her a chance... have you ever considered if i wanted to give her a chance?" as y/n spoke, minji looked down.
it was out of spite, she guessed... it was hard to decide, she had her own priorities and she made promises, maybe if she had done it earlier before she grew to have feelings for y/n, it would've been easier to look back. minji forced yunjin towards y/n out of fear she might fall until it's too late, she wanted to give her a genuine lover, it seemed like an act out of selfishness...
minji understood how hurt y/n might have been when she saw it like that.
"i didn't know... did you like her?" minji asked, her tone a bit awkward. y/n looked at her. "i did." y/n muttered.
"but i never said i loved her," y/n paused sighing. "i know, i agreed to settle in states with her, i wanted to make my aunts proud because they were so happy with yunjin... but it's just not what i want." y/n looked away.
minji stared at y/n, her round eyes watching the sadness and longing in her eyes. "as the days passed by, i grew even more hesitant, i felt bad... yunjin is a great person, maybe tonight destiny gave me a sign to look back." minji nodded.
"i should've asked you first..." minji placed her hand on her chest as she tried to stop the rapid beating of her heart only to receive a glare from y/n. minji chuckled sheepishly as she looked at y/n. "i was waiting for you outside, i couldn't hold it back anymore..." minji muttered.
y/n looked at her and shrugged. "what did you want to talk about?" minji sighed. "i was quite afraid that you'll really leave and stay at the states with yunjin... i already got her offer, but it didn't feel right so i wanted to see you." minji looked away, taking deep breaths. "i know you think i was not genuine, about the things we shared... but i promise you that i was just afraid, that's why i couldn't bare telling you that i could settle down with someone... with you." minji continued. "i know it seemed like i forced you to be with her, it's only because i didn't want to disappoint you."
y/n looked at minji, pushing back strands of her hair behind her ear. "i don't know... i just don't understand why i couldn't love her back." she muttered.
none of them realized the growing bond between them, beyond their playful banters, minji grew onto y/n. what they shared mattered to y/n, there's something so genuine about how long it took them to warm up to each other.
minji smiled, laughing. "about that..." minji trailed, scratching her chin. "i think i'm starting to love you." she muttered.
y/n looked at her, surprised. haerin immediately shushed hanni up as the girl gasped.
"like, i was mad that you couldn't find the right person. during that time where we were looking for your dates, we grew closer... i didn't realized i was dreaming of you every night, like i said, i was just afraid i'd sabotage myself out of it." minji said. "maybe until, i found myself laughing and smiling whenever you cross my mind... i didn't know what it meant till i just snapped out of it."
y/n smiled, looking away. "mhm," she giggled. "you think i forgot about your commitment issues?"
minji smiled as she laughed, taking a closer step towards y/n. "of course, about that... will you get mad if i told you that... i will marry you?" hanni and haerin watched from the stairs as y/n gave minji a look of skepticism.
"what are you on about?" she asked. minji looked down, she scratched the back of her head. "i don't want you to slip away from me again. you know what i mean?" minji smiled fondly at her, digging her hand on her pocket to pull out a necklace.
"i didn't bring a ring, i never thought i'd have the chance to say this." she muttered.
"why would you marry me?" y/n asked, looking at minji who was holding the necklace in hand. "because why not? i know this sounds so out of pocket, we've known each other for a long time... i've known you since forever. why would i not marry you when i spent almost half of my life annoying you?" minji answered, she gripped the necklace while she spoke.
y/n laughed sarcastically. "yeah? you always pissed me off and you want to marry me?" she asked.
"i stayed because i'm happy when i'm with you." minji muttered, she looked down in resignation. "i'm sorry..."
"if you love me then you shouldn't be sorry." y/n grumbled, minji looked at her and smiled. "i do love you." she muttered. "and that's why i'm gonna marry you if only you would say yes..."
y/n stared at minji, trying not to burst into tears as she looked at minji and glared at her, she pouted her lips looking at the necklace in minji's hand.
"after everything?" she scoffed, keeping the pout on her lips as minji raised her eyebrows at her, already memorized her like a book.
it's always like these kinds of moments between them that made her really wish she knew earlier, it had always been a thing in their family that now she's twenty, she can't wait another five years until the "curse" in their family hits her. y/n knew how she genuinely believed it when her aunts, who have been single and never married, told her about the family curse, she'd been desperate to find the one ever since.
minji's so called "freedom" of being single had always been something she treasured, seeing relationships as settle backs from achieving her goals; ironic how both of their situations led them to realize things from each other.
y/n looked at minji once again, they stared at each other before y/n rushed to embrace her and wrap her arms around minji who laughed and brought her lips close to y/n's ear to whisper. "i love you." before wrapping her own arms around y/n's waist.
hanni cheered as she screamed, causing haerin to roll her eyes playfully and laughed as they witnessed the scene beneath them. it was just like magic, something predictable for the audience but at the same time it was unexpected for the pair.

Toilet? Really? (Joy x M Reader)
Day 5: Public Sex in Toilet + Cheating
Tumblr media
Being the secret boyfriend of a famous girlgroup member is hard, VERY HARD, especially since she still has a boyfriend who, like the public, doesn't know about my relationship with hers. You're currently at one of her shoots with Diesel, as a 'photograph assistant' while you're actually just standing there, doing nothing besides imagining the dirty things you'll do to her IN THAT outfit.
"Alright, good job Ms Sooyoung, we'll take a 40 minute break everyone!" The shooting director announced. You breathe in relief, knowing that you don't know what might happen to you if you continue to see her in that outfit. Your daydream was then interrupted again by Sooyoung, who bumped onto you, walking past you before she looked back at you, smirking seductively before mouthing 'toilet' to you. You waited for a few minutes, while making sure you have a condom in your pockets, before you walked to the toilet. Since it's a singular toilet with only one stall, you immediately went into the ladies' bathroom. Once in there, you were greeted by Sooyoung, leaning against the sink, legs wide open, exposing her red cherry panties.
"I know how you've been looking at me." Sooyoung said lustfully as you start walking slowly towards her, unbuttoning your dress shirt, exposing your toned abs to her, as well as the cold air in the bathroom. "Oh I know, and I also know, how you've been teasing me all day long." You said, before you leaned in, just missing her lips, making sure she doesn't kiss you, while your hands move down onto her thighs, caressing them softly as you felt her breathes getting heavier.
Your hands, after several actions on her thighs, managed to reach her panties, where you caressed her pussy through her panties. You set her panties aside before inserting a finger into her, making her gasp. You used your other hand to guide it up from her hips onto her lips, parting them slightly, producing a moan from her. "I know you've been holding them back baby, moan louder for me, I lock the door so this whole area's off charts, only I can hear your moans baby." You whispered to her ears, while also adding another finger into her pussy and increasing your pace by a bit, making her whimper.
"P-Please, fuck me, please." Sooyoung moaned into your ears. "Not yet." You said, before kneeling down, getting your face in front of her pussy. You removed your fingers and replaced it with your tongue, leaning in to lick her pussy up and down. "Ahhhh Fuckk" Sooyoung moaned, her moans getting louder after each time you lick her pussy. When she got wet enough, you waste no time to dive deeper, pulling her hips against your face, allowing you to get deeper into her pussy, exchanging between licking and sucking her pussy, making her produce more juices. "H-How the fuck are you this good? FUCK!" Sooyoung asked. "Lots of practice on your pussy." You replied, before continuing to feast on her pussy.
"I'm close." Sooyoung said. "Just cum whenever you want." You then add a finger into her pussy, making you finger her while you also eat her out. Not only that, you used your other hand to reach over to her ass, rubbing her asshole from the outside. This, combined with the fact that you have been stimulating her for the past 5 minutes, brought her the long awaited orgasm.
"FUCK!!!" She moans loudly, followed by even louder ones after each squirt of her juices went out, squirting onto your face. Your fingers continued moving on her asshole and in her pussy while you just stay there, enjoying as each squirt came out. "When was the last time you had an orgasm?" You asked her, before she replied immediately. "Three weeks ago." "Ah, that's why." You then sucked her pussy again for a few seconds, before standing up and reaching into your pocket, grabbing a pack of condom.
Seeing this, Sooyoung unbuttoned and lowered your jeans aggressively, before grabbing the condom, tearing the pack open and then rolling it on your dick. You then lift her up a bit, aligning your cock with her pussy, before lowering her onto your cock. "Fuck you're big." "I know." You said, making her roll her eyes. "You can move now." You start thrusting in and out of her slowly, allowing you to get deeper into her after each thrust. Once you manage to open her inside, you started increasing your pace, thrusting into her faster and faster before you eventually bottomed out inside her. Your thrusts continued, which was accompanied by the moans she gave as well as the scratches on your neck.
"Faster!" Sooyoung moaned, and you obliged, fucking her even faster and deeper. You also used your hand to play with her tits and pussy, rubbing them, matching your thrusts. You didn't forget to lower her dress straps, allowing you to occasionally lean in to suck on her tits.
Unexpectedly to her, you pulled out of her and set her down, before you turned her around, pushing her upper body against the mirror, before you spank her ass repeatedly. You then enter her again, thrusting in and out of her hard and fast, trying to give her the long awaited orgasm. "I know you're close, just cum whenever you want." You said into her ears, and this was enough to trigger her orgasm as she came, squirting her juices onto your cock. You continued fucking her through her orgasm, helping her intensify and prolong it, before she eventually stopped cumming. You thrusted a few more times before resting deep inside her.
"Did you finish?" She asked, to which you shake your head. "Alright." Sooyoung said, pushing you away from her. She then recomposed herself and turned her around, before kneeling in front of you. "Your cum's going inside me one way or another." She then removed your condom and threw it away before she insert your cock into her mouth, licking the tip repeatedly, before she starts going deeper. The effort she put in, as well as her tongue movements colliding with your cock, as well as her mouth's warmth, helped you closer to your orgasm.
"Let me try something before you cum." She said, before sucking your cock again, this time hollowing her mouth even more, making it tighter. However, what surprised you most was when she bottomed your cock out, letting your tip hit her throat. She repeated this again before she went as deep as possible, holding your cock steady in her throat before she gagged. "Just fill my mouth." You then grabbed her head and held her steady, before you start mouthfucking her. She managed to keep her mouth tight, allowing you to carve her mouth while also reaching her throat repeatedly. It took a few more thrusts before you came.
"MMMMHHHHH MMMMHHHHH" Sooyoung's moans got muffled by your cock as you spurt your load into her throat. After you finished cumming, Sooyoung pushed your cock out of her throat and opened her mouth wide, showing you your load, before she swallowed it all. She didn't forget to lick your excess cum on your cock, which made you cum again, this time on her face and cleavage.

++ inspired by this ask. i apologize for taking so long, i’m also kissing the brick gently… before throwing it </3

manon’s laughter was bright and full of life, her giggles like music to your ears as her fingers tangled with yours and pulled you along with her. the wind whipped past your face, cold air of the nightlife briskly kissing your skin while your legs carried you in urgency, trying to keep up with the ghanaian woman. her curls bounced as she ran, much further ahead of you, the only thing keeping you attached to her was the grip she had on you.
it wasn’t just the sight of manon that had your heart racing, but also the adrenaline rushing through your veins from sneaking out into the night, your only chance of being able to see her.
you had lost count of how many times you’d done this before, though now you were much better skilled than when you and manon first began your relationship. you knew when to leave the house, which route was best to take for your shared secret place, how to be discreet with your stares when out in public.
“darling,” you called out, smiling at her. “why are you making such haste?”
manon looked back briefly. “why are you not?” she countered, flashing you a teasing grin.
a couple more steps was taken before manon stopped, her breathing heavy, as was yours. she yanked you down with her to the ground, falling back together on the grass in a fit of laughter, facing the starry sky.
“this is our one night together before i am to leave for the countryside.” she turned to face you, staring at your side. “i wish for it to be special.”
propping yourself on your elbow, you were slightly leaning over manon, looking down at her. “every moment spent together is special, my darling.”
she shuffled closer so that she was tucked below your arm, her smile soft and dashing. manon reached out to caress your cheek, thumb grazing over the cheekbone and leaned up to press her lips against yours in a sweet kiss.
the kiss was short lived, and when yours eyes fluttered open once again, nothing would have prepared you for the sight that resided in front of you.
you grinned, “have i ever told you how utterly gorgeous you are?” gripping onto her hand that rested on your cheek, you placed a kiss against it.
“you flatter me, ms. yn.” manon replied, her voice teasing, yet at the same time knowing.
“but it is true!” you declared, arching a brow at her. manon hummed as you continued. “i believe even the gods weep at your beauty.”
manon let out a loud laugh, though her heart stuttered in her chest. she couldn’t contain the smile that was battling to break free, her teeth grazing the soft flesh of her bottom lip.
“oh hush,” she tittered, and dragged her finger down from your nose until it reached your lips, tapping it twice. “you ought to put that mouth of yours to better use.”
you eyes danced over the soft features of her face, gazing from her dilated pupils to the curve of her nose, from the corner of her mouth to her exposed neck. you smiled gently, leaning forward, close enough that she felt your breath on her.
“as you wish, my lady.”
silencing manon with another kiss, your hand found its way to the small of her back while hers cupped your cheek once again. she kissed you back with vigor, her tongue dipping inside your mouth. you moaned as she let out a breathless sigh, your kisses traveling across her jaw and down to her neck. she leaned back, allowing you to have better access, and pulled on your hair tightly when she felt your teeth nip her skin.
you planted open mouth kisses across her collarbones, while your hand traveled lower, quickly and messily pushing the frills of her dress away. dipping your hand between her legs, slick wetness coated your fingers. the cream coloured material was quickly bunched in your tight grip as you moved to positioned yourself between her now bent knees, kissing the inside of her thighs, traveling to where she needed you most. the last thing you had seen before going beneath her dress was manon’s head thrown back, her gasps echoing around you as she lost herself in the ecstasy.
a while later, after manon had calmed down from her post orgasm bliss, she watched as you resurfaced, licking your lips clean. you hung above her, arm on either side of her and harshly kissed her for the third time. her fingers trailed over the back of your neck, pulling you down until your body pressed against hers.
when you’d finally separated from one another, you shuffled around, laying sideways, and settled to rest your head in her lap, silently counting the stars. manon sat up and leaned back on her hands, facing upwards with her eyes closed as she basked in the moment with you, a warmth encompassing her.
the cool temperature of the night provided great relief to the heat of your skin. it was quiet, the only sound being howls hooting from nearby trees.
“for how long will you be gone?”
manon looked down at you, regretfully. “i am not certain, a week or two.” she announced, moving her one hand from the grass to rake through your hair. “father has business to take care of, but he still wants the family to be together.”
you nodded, leaning into her touch. a soft exhale left you from the soothing sensation of her nails against your scalp. “i must confess a week away from you is too torturous for one to bear.”
“surely your heart can take it.” manon teased, her lips curved into a smile. she twirled a few strands of your hair around her finger.
“it cannot,” you uttered, staring at her longingly. “my heart calls your name.”
manon’s breath hitched in her throat. it wasn’t out of the ordinary for you shower her with romantic words, but each time you did, she could feel herself falling deeper and deeper.
“as does mine,” she admitted, her smile widening. her voice then lowered into a whisper, “i will be back before you know it.”
you looked up at her, wetting your lips with a swipe of your tongue. “i love you, more than you will ever know.”
the warmth that engulfed manon was unlike any other as she repeated the words back to you. your hand traveled up to where hers was, linking your fingers together and squeezed. your eyes shone with affection as manon squeezed back, a silent promise that you’d be together once again.
Tumblr media
the days without manon had proven to be difficult. they were slow, almost lacking life. you busied yourself with helping your mother around the house, taking care of your younger brother, and assisted your father at his bar. though it was frowned upon for a woman to be seen working, you endured the strange looks of the many lords and other men that occupied the place.
you kept careful watch of how long it’d been since manon left. seven nights had passed already, and you ached for her more than ever. the longest you’d been apart was three days, courtesy of the ghanaian’s lack of free time and the many balls she had to attend.
it was nightfall and you found yourself sitting at the window seat, a forgotten book in hand. the glass showed your reflection, but your eyes were on the moon above. the only thing that brought you comfort was knowing that somewhere, out there, manon was staring too.
with a sigh, you shut the book closed and shoved it back into the bookcase between the others. you walked into the chambers of your room, and with a heavy heart, willed yourself to fall asleep.
the following day, you repeated everything that you’d been doing from the start of the week. the only difference was a letter had been delivered to you once you reached home later that night. the stamp of the bannerman seal was on the flap of the envelope. you peeled apart the sealing wax, opening it hastily, taking out the piece of paper with rushed hands. manon’s handwriting was neat, only three words present.
nightfall. bannerman manor.
— m.
your eyes glistened with unshed tears. finally, after so long, you’d be able to see her.
it wasn’t long before you were out the house, sneakily closing the door and ventured out into the night. though you were confused as to why manon requested you at her place, it didn’t stop you from taking the journey.
carefully, you trudged along the outskirts of the manor, attentive as to not get caught by the surrounding guards. it was dark, so dark that you had to squint your eyes tightly in order to see.
manon was close by, she’d snuck passed the servants of the manor, quiet as a mouse. once near the gates, she quickly caught sight of you from the silhouette of your movements and the crunching of leaves beneath your feet. slowly, manon approached you from behind, tapping your shoulder.
you jumped from fight, a gasp escaping you. you turned around, with widened eyes and a fearful heart that you’d been caught. manon clamped a hand over your mouth to keep you quiet, her own eyes shining with mischief. she then glanced around to be sure no one had heard you.
you sighed in relief, shoulders slumping forward. with a delicate touch, you peeled manon’s hand away from your mouth, a short, breathless laugh of nervousness leaving you. she tangled your fingers together, and turned to walk back in the direction she’d come from. you knitted your eyebrows together, out of both confusion and fear, but manon only placed a finger against her lips, telling you to be silent.
she took one last look to be sure that no one was around to see you and her, and pulled you along with her. you followed meekly, almost stumbling over your own feet.
the inside of the manor had you looking around in astonishment, the tall walls and intricate designs of white and gold were beautiful. you’d never seen anything like, the pure admiration on your face caused manon to giggle, finding your shock humorous.
soon, you’d made your way to her room.
the door shut behind her, and manon leaned her back against it, beaming at you. still with panic in set in your body, your frightened voice was heard in the dimly lit room, a candle burning in the corner.
“what is this?” you hissed, “why are we here?”
“is that how you greet someone you’ve missed dearly?” manon tilted her head to the side, a fire dancing about in her eyes.
you blinked, “no, but this is far too dangerous!” gesturing to the door, you hinted at what lurked behind it. “what if someone had seen us?”
manon paid no mind to your frantic state. she took prolonged, deliberate steps toward you, a smirk set in place. when she finally reached you, her pointer finger ran along the edge of your jaw, almost as if she was taunting you.
“kiss me.”
your voice shook, “manon—”
“i saw you today,” she flicked her gaze up to your eyes. “with a girl awfully close to you.” manon quickly retracted her finger, like she had been burned, and it felt as if her hand was never there at all. “is that what you do when i’m not here? entertain others?”
as you took in her words, you noticed the tinge of aggression. they had a sharp bite to them, and the way manon’s body was rigid told you all that you needed to know.
she was jealous.
it was a sight you liked far too much for you to admit.
you stepped closer, head dipping down. “i belong to you entirely.”
manon’s eyes connected with yours, her stare so intense that it had your insides tingling. her voice was husky, “is that so?”
“i swear it.” you mumbled, leaning in further. your hand gripped her waist, the layer of fabric being on the only thing keeping you from feeling your skin against hers.
manon tilted her head up to meet your lips in a featherlight kiss, her lips barely brushing against yours. you pulled away, your other hand sweeping your knuckles across her cheek.
“i dreamt of you while you were away.” you confessed, the tenderness in your voice a stark contrast to the tension between you and manon.
she tugged you closer by your neck, “now there is no need to dream any longer.”
whatever else you wanted to say was stuffed down as manon pressed a rough kiss to your lips. you stumbled back from the force, furrowing your eyebrows as you kissed her passionately.
she trailed her hand down to your ribcage, holding it tightly. her other hand held was placed on your ribcage as well, as she pushed you back until you collided with the dresser in her room. the wooden furniture knocked against the wall, the sound loud and rattled around the room.
manon’s lips were bruised by the time she moved her attention to your neck, while you fought with every bit of strength left in you not to rip the back strings of her dress, desperate to feel her. a soft moan slipped out your mouth as manon littered kisses over your skin, feeling your throat bob up and down you as swallowed. your hands made a mess of her curls, bringing her back up to connect your lips once again, teeth harshly clashing against one another.
unbeknownst to you and manon, her lady’s maid stood behind the door, listening in. a hand covered her mouth, the impure sounds she’d heard frightening her.
Tumblr media
two days came and went.
that morning, manon felt as if something dark was lingering in the air, awaiting her presence. it wasn’t until she’d been called in to her father’s study when the ball finally dropped.
“tell me it is not true.” her father said, back turned to her.
the last thing manon expected when she stepped into the room was for him to bring you up. now, standing with her head down, eyes trained to the floor, she shuddered at the coldness in her father’s voice.
“it is merely a fantasy of hers.” manon replied. her hands were shaking, so she gripped them together and hid them behind her back.
her father turned around to face, his stare was hard. “you mean to call your lady’s maid a liar?”
“no!” she shrieked, tone fearful. “i-i only meant that perhaps she was… mistaken.”
manon watched as her father chuckled bitterly, and she felt a chill run down her spine. she turned her head to the side, not being able to hold her fathers dark gaze.
“mistaken? i hardly think so.” he commented, and manon felt as if she’d been cut with a blade.
she gulped down her nerves. “you take her word over mine, father?”
“your word means nothing!” he bellowed out. his face contorted into one of anger, pointing a finger at her. “if she is correct in her claims, we cannot have you bring shame upon this family, manon.”
manon had half a mind to find her lady’s maid and strip her of her job, but she stayed rooted to her spot, unable to move.
silence hung heavy in the air, it weighed on her body like a rock.
the scrapping of a chair’s legs rang in manon’s ears. her father sat down at his desk, his hands folded together. he took in a deep breath, and shut his eyes, but manon could tell this was nowhere near the end of their conversation.
“so, which is it?” he asked, and waved his hand out. slowly, his words left his mouth, falling like acid rain on manon’s skin. “tell me, or i shall have your lover slayed before your eyes.”
“you can’t!” she gasped. manon’s knees began to feel weak, she stumbled towards the desk, gripping onto the dark brown table. her eyes pleaded with him, tears threatening to fall.
manon’s father was rarely a cruel man, but as she looked into his eyes, they had an icy glare in them. her father stared at her menacingly, and she choked on her breath, feeling as if her airflow was being constricted.
“you can’t…” she whimpered brokenly, her voice lost in her throat. “please, father!”
tears leaked from her eyes, wetting her cheeks. she swiped her tongue over her lip, tasting the saltiness. as she silently begged him, her father never wavered, his jaw tense and locked.
the reality of the situation dawned on her.
manon had your life in her hands.
as if threatening you was not enough, her father’s voice was heard again, ripping all of her happiness from her brittle hands.
“you will marry lord martin’s son, and you will do so without any argument. he is a fine, suitable man, and this is the last i ever hear of that girl.”
Tumblr media
the loud and heavy stomping of the dark brown horse was nothing compared to beating of manon’s heart. it was harsh against her ribcage, feeling as it would jump out at any moment.
cold wind whipped against her cheeks, blowing past her ears as it whistled around her. she yanked on the ropes, instructing the stallion to go faster, hooves hitting hard on the ground.
you were soon in manon’s vision, your back facing her as you took in the fresh air of the night. she slowed down the horse until it trotted your way, and she quickly dismounted it, tying the rope around a tree.
“my love.” you called upon seeing her, reaching to wrap your arms around her once she was close.
manon mustered up a smile and placed a gentle kiss on your lips, her fingers intertwining with yours. she gazed up at you, though you could tell there was something wrong, the crease in her eyebrows evident of that.
“what is that matter?” you asked, cupping her cheek softly.
manon shook her head and attempted to smile again, “nothing to fret about.” she replied, taking her hands in yours and kissed your knuckles.
her hands were smooth in comparison to your rough and dirty ones. you chuckled lightly, easily being able to see through her.
“you take me for a fool?” you quipped, raising a brow. manon sighed and leaned her head against your shoulder, falling into you.
“no.” she murmured, her lips touching your skin caused goosebumps to arise.
you ran a hand over her head, all the way down to back of her neck and rested your hand there. manon could feel the agony in her heart, knowing she had to tell you of her fathers plan to have her wed lord martin’s son. her breath hitched in her throat.
“yn, i—” she began, stopping herself.
it was difficult to hear with her head stuffed into your neck, so you placed both hands on her forearms and pulled her away. the tears that gathered below her eyes alarmed you, curiosity now settling in your chest.
“what is it?” you asked her.
manon breathed shakily, her eyes meeting with yours.
slowly and with deep sadness, she opened her mouth to speak, then closed it again. manon couldn’t bare to break the news to you, but she knew she would have to eventually.
“i am to be married in three weeks.”
what?
your eyes widened, body going stiff.
manon sensed the stillness of your movements, taking in a sharp breath and shuddered. she hastily grabbed at your hands, her eyes frantic.
“my father, he—” she said, pausing at the fear she felt after the night in the office. “he hreatened to have you killed. i couldn’t let you die!”
shaking off the stunned feeling, you swallowed heavily and pulled up one of manon’s hands to press it against your chest. beneath her palm, manon could feel your heart beating. it was steady, a reminder that you were still alive and breathing. you needed to calm her down.
“shh, hey, it’s alright.” you whispered, trying to derail the situation. “i am here, i’m alive.”
you brows were knitted together as you stared deep in manon’s eyes. tears freely rolled down her cheeks, no longer being able to contain her emotions, sanity quickly slipping away.
“i don’t want to leave you.” she whimpered, her voice cracking.
at her vulnerable state, your own tears began to well in your eyes. you blinked them away, trying to stay strong for the both of you, but it was difficult when you felt as if you were being ripped apart.
you hushed her once again when she began to murmur under her breath, a mess of words and syllables that sounded foreign to your years.
it was a rare sight to see manon so defeated.
you took in a gasped breath, your voice lost. manon was quick to pull you against her, wrapping her arms around your midsection, holding you close to her as her mind ran a mile a minute, swirling with thoughts of how your relationship would survive.
she wasn’t thinking clearly, her judgement clouded by heartbeat and the unfairness of having to marry someone she did not love.
manon wouldn’t let this be the end.
she pulled away quick, her words falling out in a tumble. “we will run away— together! we can find a place, somewhere we can be free.”
her eyes were hopeful. it broke your heart even further to deny her of her solutions.
you shook your head violently, “no.” the shake in your voice contrasted with the somewhat firm answer. manon stared at you in disbelief, her eyes held a hint of betrayal.
you cupped her cheeks, “there is nothing i desire more than to have you, and i did. for a little while.” you admitted softly, pressing your foreheads against one another. “but i cannot ask you to break your family’s heart over me.”
manon was no longer feeling that sadness, instead she was angry, livid, at how easy it was for you to give the relationship up. her breathing quickened, putting some distance between you and her, her hand gesturing around the air.
she narrowed her eyes, “so instead we should suffer?”
“it is the sensible thing to do.” you told her, now finding the strength to harden your voice.
you knew from the very start of your relationship it would end at some point. after all, it was against social norms for someone of manon’s prestige to be with you, and it was even worse for it to be two women. and though it broke your heart to do this, you couldn’t let manon suffer the repercussions of going against her father.
“but i love you!” she shouted, vision blurry. “i love you, and i want— i want us to be together.”
your heart broke further from the desperation in her voice, seeing manon visually spiraling, clawing at the remnants of what once was.
you took a step towards her, pressing your lips against hers in an earth-shattering kiss. your brows furrowed together as you poured every ounce of emotion into the kiss. manon grasped her hands to your waist, her grip tight, fingers digging into your sides.
she breathed heavily, tear stained cheeks glistening in the moonlight as your own tears finally fell.
you hugged her close, setting your chin atop her head. “i know it is hard, but you must—” manon’s head vigorously shook in your chest. “you must do this, okay?”
manon let out a sob, the sound caused for your heart to shatter even more.
“my darling.” you mumbled, “my beautiful, beautiful manon.” pressing another kiss to her lips, you placed her hand over your chest once again. “you will forever be here.”
the cry that left manon was so strong it could shake the world. her lips quivered, shoulders slumping forward.
“my heart calls your name.” she told you brokenly, the words like a chant that reminded you you’d always have these memories to look back on.
“mine too,” a sob now ripped from your throat. “it always will.”
you fell into one another, once again desperately holding onto each other for dear life. your rough hands were gripped tightly, and she squeezed her arms to press your closer against her.
it hurt to let her go, but you had to, for her own safety and yours.
you needed to.
your breathing went shallow, almost as if the sharp edges of your broken heart were scraping against your lungs. the physical pain was evident on your face, tears never ending.
“now, leave.” you announced, looking up at the starry sky. “if you stay any longer… i may never let you go.”
manon bit down her lip so hard it drew blood, the effort it took to let you go was the most difficult thing she’d ever done.
she made quick work of untying the rope and mounting the animal, riding off into the dark night, a piece of her being left with you. as you watched manon ride away on her horse, you felt yourself finally crumble, succumbing to the deep pressure on your heart and the pain that raked through your body.
another cry left you, looking up at the stars, reminding yourself that even if you once had manon, it was doomed from the start.
the harsh truth felt like a slap to the face.
you and manon, no matter how much you tried, would always be two worlds apart.

Blush or BLUSH - karina
Tumblr media
pairing- yu jimin x stylist!reader
synopsis- As aespas stylist, your job is already hard. What makes it harder is the extremely hot leader who teases you like crazy.
a/n - HIII LOVELIES !!!i hope you like this! IF YOU HAVE ANY REQUESTS SEND!!
Mix and swab, mix and swab.the steps lingered in your head as you did them with precision, one could say that the way you swab the different shades of red -crimson ,cardinal , amaranth just to note a few.The end colour a deep lustful shade of red that when put on your wrist to check the colour seemed as if it could draw in anyone who dared to look too long. The intensity of the hue seemed to capture a mystery, an allure, as if each shade told a secret you weren't quite ready to share. You took a step back and admired the work, your wrist resting delicately on the edge of the vanity table. The deep, seductive red was exactly what you had envisioned, the perfect blend of boldness and grace. It was perfect for her
The her being yu jimin-karina.She was the leader of the current biggest girlgroup in the industry, known for her impeccable style and presence. Her reputation for being both fierce and enigmatic made her the ideal canvas for such a bold creation. You had been thinking of her all along, imagining how the shade would play against her flawless skin, how it would complement her aura of confidence and mystery.Ofcourse along with all of that, she happened to be the BIGGEST tease of the century. The lingering touches as you fixed her gloss, the hooded looks she passed off as being exhausted from schedules and ofcourse, how could you forget? The edgefful whispers that left you gasping for more.As if her praise was the oxygen you breathed, you needed it every second of the day.Thats how you found yourself sending her a selfie of you , the swatches of red barely visible in the photo with the caption “you like??” .Instantly a reply comes with a ‘ding!’
‘Yeah I like. The shade of reds cute too’
The red cutes too?You stared at the message for a moment, the words hanging in the air as your mind raced. It was such a simple reply, but the way she phrased it—casual, almost too nonchalant—left you wanting more. The words didn’t carry the weight of the lingering tension that you knew existed between you two, that subtle but ever-present spark whenever she was around.Your heart skipped a beat as you re-read her message. She had said the shade was cute... but what about you? What about the way your fingers had swiped over her lips to apply that gloss, the way you both found excuses to stand a little too close in the studio, the way your breath caught every time she gave you that signature, teasing smile? But no, she hadn’t mentioned that. Only the color. Only the swatch.
Your thumb hovered over the screen, contemplating your response. Maybe you were reading too much into it. After all, she was a professional, and you were here to create, not to get lost in the games she played. But the silence between each message made it hard not to wonder if she felt the same way.You typed back, your fingers moving with a practiced precision that mirrored the careful strokes you’d just made on your wrist.
"Glad you like it. Maybe I could show you before we try the official look?"
The second you hit send, you felt the familiar rush of nervous anticipation. Was that too forward? Too obvious? Before you could second-guess yourself, another 'ding!' vibrated through your phone. Her reply came instantly, like a knife cutting through the tension.
“Only if I get to have your lips as the applicator,”
came her playful,  response. As playful as it was, it caused a flurry of butterflies to errupt in your stomach as your eyes widened almost cartoonishly. You stared at her response, the words burning through the screen like a wildfire. For a moment, time seemed to freeze. Your heart thudded in your chest, and your mind raced to catch up with the implications of what she'd said. Was she teasing? Or was this her way of pulling you in, slowly wrapping you around her finger with every word, every look, every touch? The butterflies swirled, their wings beating erratically inside you. You couldn’t tell if you were more excited or nervous, but one thing was clear: she knew exactly what she was doing. Her response was just close enough to flirtation to leave you hanging, yet distant enough to make you second-guess her intentions. You quickly pressed your lips together, trying to stifle the sudden surge of heat flooding your face. With one hand, you gently held your phone, and with the other, you reached up to touch your lips, as if testing the air, unsure of whether she was daring you or simply playing with you.
“Is that how you want it?”
you typed slowly, your fingers trembling slightly, each word calculated and weighted. You held your breath, waiting for her reply, as if you were standing on the edge of something — something thrilling, dangerous, maybe even forbidden. And then, just as you were about to let your nerves take control, another 'ding!' echoed through your phone.
“Don’t keep me waiting then,”
her message read, paired with a playful wink emoji. You let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding. She was giving you an opening, a chance to move closer, to cross that unspoken line between professional and personal.
As you get to the studio that day, your heart was thumping , almost louder than the birds flying in the sky or the people chattering next to you. What if she was once AGAIN just teasing and you played into it again? How would you face her then.it was too late now, as you were infront of the large building doors, fishing for your id card before a hand stopped you,
“Here, baby..i got you,”that smooth sacharine voice that had been running you wild even in your dreams - karina. As she looked at you , you could feel the butterflies once again flurry all throughout you, their wings surely fluttering and stretching inside. You gulped as she tilted her chin down slightly, a smirk playing on her perfectly glossed lips. “What? Cat got your tongue?” she teased, her voice soft but laced with mischief. Her hand lingered a little too long as she handed you her r ID card, her fingers brushing against yours with a deliberate slowness that sent a jolt through your entire body.
You stumbled over your words, trying to play it cool. “I—I was just...waiting ..for you ,” you managed to mumble, avoiding her gaze as you fumbled to put the IDback into her hand as the doors opened with a “you may enter” a robotic voice. The voice you wished you could copy right now. But of course,  with Karina no moment could ever leave you and your face without a rosy hue .
“Flustered , already?” she echoed, leaning in slightly, her breath warm against your ear. “By me, maybe?”Your head snapped up, eyes locking with hers. The playful glint in her eyes was undeniable, and her smirk widened as if she’d caught you red-handed. She was enjoying this far too much, and you were helpless against the power she wielded over you.
“N-no,” you lied, though your voice betrayed you with its slight tremble. “I was just thinking about... the new shade. That’s all.”She chuckled, the sound low and intoxicating. “Mmm, the new shade, huh?” she mused, stepping back just enough to let you breathe again. “I can’t wait to see it on me. But, you know...” She tilted her head, her eyes scanning you with a deliberate slowness that made your knees weak. “I think it looks better on you.”
Your heart skipped a beat, and you felt your cheeks heat up. Was she really saying this? Or was this another one of her games? It was impossible to tell, and it drove you crazy.
“I—I’ll see you inside,” you stammered, desperate for an escape before your racing heart gave you away completely. You turned toward the studio doors, but before you could take more than a step, her voice stopped you in your tracks.
“Don’t forget,” she called out, her tone dripping with playful seduction, “I’m expecting you to apply it the way I asked.”
You froze, her words replaying in your head like a broken record. Was she really serious? You turned your head slightly to glance back at her, but she was already walking away, her hips swaying with a confidence that only made your mind spin further.
By the time you entered the studio, your nerves were a tangled mess. What did she mean “better on you”  was she teasing once again or was she being serious when she gave yu those looks that made you believe that you were mona lisa and she was Davinci. You  shook your head before  setting up your tools with trembling hands, mentally preparing yourself for whatever was about to unfold. Karina arrived not long after, her presence commanding the room the moment she walked in. She greeted everyone with her usual charm, but when her eyes met yours, the air between you seemed to shift.
“So,” she said, approaching your workstation with a graceful ease. “Show me what you’ve got.”You hesitated for a moment, then picked up the brush and the custom red gloss you’d created. Your hands shook slightly as you stepped closer to her, and she noticed, of course.“Nervous?” she asked, her voice low and teasing.
“Not at all,” you lied, trying to steady yourself. She tilted her head, giving you that knowing smile that sent shivers down your spine.
You lifted the brush to her lips, your fingers brushing against her skin as you worked. The room seemed to fade away, the world narrowing down to just the two of you. Her eyes stayed locked on yours, and you could feel the heat of her gaze even as you tried to focus on the task at hand.as you continued you found her eyes on you, your lips to be exact before she smirked and gripped your hand that was near her plump lips.
“Thought i said i wanted your lips”her voice low, and steady as you wondered how she could say stuff that would make your heart beat as if there was a competition amongst all the hearts in the world to see whos was the fastest.
“I…I” you could only nod as she gripped your other hand and smiled, her pearly teeth reflecting everything but the way you felt on the inside.
“Go on….put it on” she cooed, as if you were an infant that needed instructions for every action.Still you could only nod once again as she tsked.”speak.. Baby c’mon”
“Okay….”you replied, nearly soulless your cheeks now flared with a deep marron shade that was the doing of karina’s words.
When you finally finished, you stepped back to admire yourself in the mirror. The red looked stunning onyour lips , just as you’d imagined it would on anyone whod wear it. Like paint  It brought outyour  natural beauty, , while highlighting the deepness of your sould on your face “Perfect,” she said softly. She leaned in close, her voice barely above a whisper. “Not the shade….you”You opened your mouth to respond, but no words came out. She smirked, clearly satisfied with your flustered reaction. Before you could gather your thoughts, she stood up, her hand brushing against yours.“You’ve outdone yourself,” she said, her tone genuine but still tinged with that teasing edge. “But I’m still waiting for you to keep your promise.”
“Promise?” you echoed, your mind struggling to keep up.She turned to face you fully, her smile softening just enough to make your heart ache. “I need to see the shade on me too, don’t I,” she said simply, her eyes flicking to your mouth before meeting your gaze again. “You promised, didn’t you?”You felt your breath hitch, the room spinning as her words sank in. There was no mistaking her intent this time. She wasn’t just teasing. She was daring you.
Your breath hitched as you felt yourself leaning into her.Her gaze held yours firmly, unwavering, daring you to take the plunge. Every fiber of your being screamed at you to move, to close the minuscule gap between you two. It was as if time had slowed, every sound in the studio fading into the background, leaving only the faint rhythm of your heartbeat in your ears and the soft hum of her presence surrounding you.
Karina tilted her head slightly, a playful smirk tugging at her lips, and you could feel the heat radiating between you. "What’s the matter, baby?" she murmured, her voice low and sultry, drawing you in further. "You’ve got the shade on already. What’s stopping you?"
You swallowed hard, your pulse quickening as her words wrapped around you like silk. It wasn’t just her teasing anymore—there was something heavier in the air, an unspoken invitation. Slowly, carefully, you brought your hand up to cup her cheek, your thumb brushing lightly against her flawless skin. She didn’t pull away; instead, her eyes flicked down to your lips, her smirk softening ever so slightly.
You leaned in, your breath mingling with hers as the distance between you disappeared. The world seemed to hold its breath, waiting for what would happen next. When your lips finally met, it was everything and nothing like you had imagined—soft, warm, yet electrifying, as if every nerve in your body had come alive. The taste of the gloss you had so carefully crafted mixed with the faint sweetness of her own, creating a heady combination that made you dizzy.
Her hand came up to rest on the back of your neck, holding you in place as the kiss deepened. It was slow and deliberate, filled with the same kind of precision you’d used to mix the shades of red. When you finally broke apart, both of you were breathless, your faces only inches apart. Her eyes searched yours, a flicker of vulnerability breaking through her confident façade.
"That’s the perfect application," she whispered, her tone playful yet heavy with emotion. Her thumb grazed your bottom lip, smudging the gloss slightly as she smiled. "Now it’s my turn to say... I like."You couldn’t help but laugh softly, the tension in the room breaking just enough for you to breathe again. "Are you always this much of a tease?" you asked, though your voice lacked the edge to make it a true complaint. Her grin widened as she leaned back, folding her arms across her chest. "Only when it’s worth it," she replied smoothly, her gaze never leaving yours. "And you’re very worth it."
For the first time, you felt a surge of confidence rising in your chest. Maybe she had been teasing, but there was no mistaking the sincerity in her words—or the way she looked at you as if you were the only person in the world. Whatever this was between you two, it was no longer a question of if but when.
And from the way her hand lingered on yours as you cleaned up the gloss, you knew that this was only the beginning.

TWICE - Reaction to S/O Cuddling A Plushie (Requested!)
A/N: We're back to two uploads a week since I'm trying to clear my WIP before December 1st! I want to take a small hiatus for the week before and of exams plus I can spend time with family and friends for a bit without having a bunch of stress and extra responsibilities.
Also, to the lovely anon that requested this since I no longer have that request - I am so happy that my works bring you peace and happiness. I know what it’s like to go through rough periods, trust me, I’ve been through my fair share. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and I promise the future will be so much better than your present. I can’t promise that the road will be easy, or that you won’t want to give up, but stick it out, okay? My writing will always be here for you to enjoy, and I’m so glad I could bring you some peace of mind during a rough part of your life. Tumblr media
100% teases you by pretending to be jealous
“Ah, well, I guess I’ll just have to find someone else to cuddle since you’re busy.”
She blushes like crazy when you pull her into your arms along with your plushie
“Yah, I was joking, baby!”
Completely unbothered by the presence of a stuffed animal
Happily accepts the cuddles, and she gives your stuffed animal a boop on the nose in approval
Tumblr media
She may tease you about it if you’re okay with it
“Do you mind if I hold you as well, or are you a little too… preoccupied at the moment?”
Otherwise she’ll wrap an arm around you and stare at you lovingly as you hold your plushie
“You’re adorable, honey. Have I ever told you that?”
Definitely does not notice until she’s in your arms and feels the plushie digging into her back
Tumblr media
“What are you poking me fo- Oh, it’s your plushie!”
Will apologize to said plushie or the guilt will eat at her all day
“I’m so sorry! I really didn’t mean to hurt you!”
Will hold the plushie along with you as long as you let her do so
Immediately pulls out her phone and starts taking pictures
Tumblr media
“Smile, my love!”
And then she sets the photo as her screensaver and your contact photo
Will want to get in on the cuddles with said plushie
“You’ll let me cuddle with the two of you, right?”
It warms her heart to see you happy, especially if you’re on edge a lot or have been going through a rough period
Tumblr media
She won’t disturb you as you cuddle in peace, but she may check up on you if your plushie is a comfort animal for your rougher days
“Is everything alright, babe? Do you want to talk about anything?”
She’ll happily observe you and the plushie from afar unless you invite her to join… who is she to say no to that?
“Of course I’ll join you! I missed you while I was at work all day, you know, and I like when we can just relax like this.”
Her heart internally combusts as her face externally combusts
Tumblr media
You’re too adorable for her heart to handle sometimes, but she rarely admits it
“I like seeing you happy with your plushie… it makes me happy too.”
Will buy you matching plushies for your birthday if you’re a plushie fan
“I know you like the plushie you have… but I got matching ones for us so you’ll always be with me and I’ll always be with you.”
Definitely teases you a lot and/or makes jokes
Tumblr media
“It’s only been eight hours and I’ve been replaced… I see how it is, then.”
You know she’s joking by the way she grins and laughs when you scoff at her.
Settles by your side and lays her head on your shoulder as you hold her hand while holding your plushie
A sweet, toothy smile breaks out on her face.
“I love you so, so much, and I hope you know that.”
Tumblr media
You are simply too cute for her to handle!
She tries to sneakily take a picture, but you catch her in the act.
“Sorry, baby! You just looked so cute with that plushie…”
Enjoys just being in the room with you while you cuddle your plushie because the sweet, soft vibes cannot be replicated when Chaeyoung is by herself
She leans against the doorframe and just… observes with a lovesick smile.
Tumblr media
Your child-like glee really comes out when you cuddle your plushie, and if you rarely show that side of you off, Tzuyu just wants to enjoy that part of you while it’s present.
“Do you mind if I join you, love?”
You invite her to sit next to you, and you place one of her hands on the plushie as she plays with your hair with her free hand.
She’s mostly quiet while enjoying the moment with you, but she will talk to you if you want to talk with her.

[half written chapter]
"the netizens are destroying you." commented yujin as her eyes scanned her phone screen while her finger scrolled down through her socials.
"i know, you've been saying the same thing every time you go on twitter." grumbled serim before taking a swig from her water bottle.
"how could you post a picture of a cigarette?" exclaimed chaeyoung in exasperation from the armchair the group had in their practice room.
"i already answered you that every time yujin reminded me that i'm being destroyed online." the leader gave a frustrated sigh.
"it's worrisome, let us react accordingly." minnie approached jang with her backpack hanging from her shoulder and the one that belonged to her bandmate in her hand. "you know how they are in olympia, if the press keeps this up, they're going to put you on hiatus." she threw the belongings at her.
"they're not going to put me on hiatus." serim grabbed her bag and stood up, following the thai who led the group towards the door to leave after finishing practice. "we are at the peak of our success."
"exactly! so knetz are more on us than ever!" complained yujin, smacking her on the back of the head. "you shouldn't be doing anything that ruins our image."
"but it's just a picture of a cigarette!" the attacked one fluttered her arms through the air reason of her despair. "many celebrities are public smokers." she reminded lowering her tone of voice.
"but you're a woman." minnie grabbed the door handle and without taking her eyes off serim, opened it. "and anything you do is much more controversial."
"what did you do?" an intrusive voice came from behind the singer causing all the HeAVEN members to jump and scream from the sudden fright.
"holy shit, jimin!" shrieked an annoyed serim covering her face with her hands. "what a scare." she muttered uncovering her features and looking angrily at the girl who had personified herself behind the door and was smiling innocently back at her.
"we all see her, don't we?" questioned yves as the members began to approach one another until they accumulated and piled up against each other.
"blink twice if you are real and not a figment of our imagination." yujin ordered the newcomer.
jimin, standing in the hallway of olympia entertainment's building, at the entrance to the group's practice room, looked at them in bewilderment, not understanding why they were reacting so astonished. with the same silly -or awkward- smile she'd had since she arrived, she listened and blinked twice, which elicited groans and surprise from the others.
okay... she wasn't welcome. good to know.
"i can't believe it." chaeyoung straightened up, separating herself from the human mass they had formed, dropping her arms in frustration. "i'm going to lock myself in the bathroom, let me know when she leaves." she walked toward it with a slumped posture.
"i see you are all very fond of me." observed the girl.
"go!" the maknae called out, extending the vowel and raising her hand to point toward the exit.
"i'll go." she reassured.
"awesome!" celebrated minnie.
"but with serim." she added.
"oh no." sooyoung shook her head in disgust at the idea.
"did you come to kidnap me?" questioned jang with a horrified expression.
"it's not kidnapping if you come with me voluntarily." she cocked her head, giving her a look of obviousness.
"but i don't want to go with you voluntarily." the older refused.
"namu, come here." she took a few steps towards her taking her wrist and leading her out.
"she's kidnapping me." warned serim to her mates as she walked behind the blackhaired.
"it's not like you're resisting." contradicted yves with a disappointed expression on her face before the door closed behind serim.
"what do you want?" the older one queried once they were alone in the hall, crossing her arms and furrowing her brows as she watched jimin.
"to take you home." she replied simply and somewhat tenderly, she was terrified of a possible negative reaction, but she couldn't not find her angry attitude adorable.
"you depraved woman!" she exclaimed offended, pulling away from her a bit.
"no, wait." interrupted the younger girl awkwardly. "not to my house." she clarified. "i came to take you to your house." explained.
"what for?" she looked at her sideways.
"i decided that i'm going to come get you from work and drive you to your place like you did all this time for me." she revealed. "i'm trying to start over, to make you fall in love with me the right way."
"jimin," she dropped her head, tired.
"no, listen to me." she stopped her. "let me try, i want to make things right." she fought back.
"no, jimin, i was going to say you don't have a car and you don't know how to drive, what do you mean you're coming to get me every day?" she exposed.
"i extorted my manager to drive me here every day-" she spoke very fast, knowing that what she had done was morally wrong so she wanted to defend herself as soon as possible, preventing serim from judging her.
"are you trying to get me back by extorting people?" she shouted.
"she what?" minnie was heard startled from inside the room.
"since when are you an honorable person?" pointed karina incredulously.
"oh, and now you're trying to win me back by calling me a bad person." she couldn't believe it.
"that's not what i mean!" she tried to fix the situation, stressed. "you stole my wallet!"
"that was months ago!" she put her hands on both sides of her waist. "and i gave it back to you!"
"well, i'm extorting a person for a good cause." she argued.
"it's for a whim." she dismissed.
"you are not a whim." her tone turned serious and the lively expression on her face turned into a sad one, following serim's every move with her eyes wide and bright, as if she were a child about to cry. "you matter to me and i genuinely want to make things right with you."
serim faced her, turning her body fully in her direction. she scanned the opposite calmly, silently, if you concentrated on her eyes you could see the thread of thoughts weaving behind them, contemplating how she should act. the younger girl looked pleading, aware of possible rejection, but with some hope within the brown of her pupils.
"listen." she broke the silence.
"yes, my namu?" her eyebrows raised in amusement, sensing in her manner of speaking something good.
"no, listen to me." the woman repeated coolly, causing jimin to return to seriousness and nod her head. "i'll go with you." she agreed, to which the blackhaired began to jump and squeal in celebration. "stop it." she held her still by placing her hands on her shoulders and applying pressure. "just for today." she clarified.
"i'll convince you tomorrow too." she warned confidently.
"we'll see." jang murmured.
"namu." karina called.
"what do you want now?"
"are we about to kiss?" she narrowed her eyes as she groped the situation, referring to the closeness between them and the hold serim still had on her body.
"you should stop talking before i change my mind." she advised, abruptly removing her touch from her and approaching the door to open it. "i have a kidnapping to attend, see you later." she informed her bandmates.
"you used to be a respectable woman." yves judged her.
"slut!" added chaeyoung.

delayed after party part 2
Tumblr media
solar x reader. 1k words of angst and facing consequences. yes, continuation is here over a year later! read under the cut. warning: I don't want minors reading my contents. part 1 in this series previous series: midnight celebration - part 1 - part 2
Tumblr media
"You both know why you're here."
The security girl fidgeted with her fingers, avoiding looking at you two from her seat near the CEO.
Yes, you knew as soon as you stepped into the meeting room with Solar. Realization poured into you like the rainstorm outside, big windows showing a darkening sky with lightning in the distance. The company got fancier with your hard work; that was the truth. During debut times, you'd be oblivious to the outside climate since it used to be settled in a modest basement. There were no cameras around, too — so upper management was also oblivious to the inside climate. Completely unaware of any mishappenings between Solar and you taking place at the practice rooms.
"For formalities sake, for the record," he said while turning his chair around, remote control in hand to close off the blinds, "let's go over it. From the start. Have a seat, please."
Solar sat down first. You felt an uneasiness crumbling up your throat as you finally acknowledged her presence there. She walked by your side the whole time, yet, since your last kiss, you treated her like a ghost — not looking, avoiding being near. Keeping your head down. You approached it as a way to save your energy to tenfold interact and put on a friendly face once promotions begin.
Was it smart, considering you'd been caught? Probably not, and you could hear Solar going on about it inside your head — "We could've come up with a plan, we could've planned what to say" — but instead it just solidified your current behavior. You wouldn't bear her treating your feelings like a work matter ever again, albeit it being the rational course of action.
Just let me be the selfish one, for once.
"Hey," she called up to you, breaking the silence, saying your name in a lower tone. Solar made an effort to accompany the direction of your gaze, eventually locking both in the same place. "It'll be okay. Come on. Sit down too."
You widened your mouth, "What...?" not understanding a thing. Her tone and her sweet demeanor seemed so foreign. You watched Solar, expecting to find the same old traces of nervousness, regret, and anger, but none of it showed while she calmly poured water on an empty cup and slid it in front of the chair you were supposed to sit on. By her side.
"What the hell, Solar..." you whispered, pulling the chair to sit down. It was hard to keep your eyebrows from frowning when her affection finally came, just when you least expected it. Or wanted it.
The thunderstorm outside was loud but not enough to prevent you from hearing the CEO's frustrated sigh. The papers next to him resembled the contract you signed years ago, but you didn't dare stare at it to confirm.
"There's no use in denying anything here, I must warn you. It was sufficient damage to our trust already that you two hid this from us," he said, eyes going from Solar to you and you-to-Solar nonstop. "To guarantee that, let's hear from the security camera's person. What were your findings, Byulyi?"
She put her hand on her chest as if to defend herself from an accusation, "I-I-I-I didn't find it, I just gave their manager the footage when he demanded it..."
"Ahem, right, you didn't snoop on them. Just say what was on your monitor. What the cameras recorded when these two were alone in the practice room."
"Well, kissing. And arguing. Then, crying." Byulyi spoke with pauses and mouthed a sorry when the CEO diverted his eyes from her to Solar and you.
"We can't afford a crisis just before a comeback. Doing his job, your manager realized the change in behaviour after that one practice session and went after the footage," he explained. "So, save my time here. You're not denying it, are you?"
You gulped. It felt like instinct to deny since, after all, you denied even your own feelings related to her. But the words couldn't come forward this time around.
"No," Solar said with an unshakable ease. "It's true. All of it. And there's more to it than what you saw on camera."
Under the table, Solar grabbed your hand and pressed it. She was scared, you supposed, despite her attitude. Scared you might open up with a different story, ruining whatever cold plan she came up with to save her skin. You could see where that was going; you imagined she wouldn't deny it and would proceed to throw you under the bus.
Would she be wrong, though? You were the only one who cared. Who cultivated pointless feelings. If someone was to blame and suffer the consequences, it probably should be you.
But there's nothing more to it, you thought, and would've said if brave enough to, because you never wanted anything to do with me, Solar.
"Okay, more than that? Are you saying it's a relationship, Yongsun?" the CEO asked. "Even in office jobs you would report this sort of thing to HR, you know. Pff," he scoffed.
"I meant more feelings wise," Solar explained. A single tear rolled down your cheek while your hand felt lighter as your fingers escaped her grip. "Not a relationship. No, I'm too stupid for that. I've just been dragging this situation along and don't deserve to be with her."
He crossed his arms at his chest. "Look, I'm not here to hear your drama. Just tell me what is this that you two have exactly."
You looked at Solar, unexpectedly finding out that she'd been crying in silence just like you.
"We have nothing. I like her and that's all, it's irrelevant if she likes me back or not. Heck, I'm not even sure if she does or not." It seemed like she would say more, but the tears got in the way. Byulyi, who seemingly wanted nothing to do with the situation, appeared to be emotional too.
The CEO was the only one with a dry face.
"You just said it's irrelevant if she likes you back or not. Let's get to the point."
"Yes yes, I'm just reaffirming — she has nothing to do with it. As the leader I should've known better than being so unprofessional. The punishment should be on me and accordingly to what's expected of my position."
"So? You're both adults and I watched the footage. It didn't seem like an one-sided thing as you're painting it to be."
Solar sighed. The tip of her fingers found your hand again and caressed it.
"I'm just saying that —" she stopped to dry her tears "— if you're planning on cancelling our contracts, cancel mine. Only mine."
The surprise, the confession, the sacrifice she'd put herself up for because of you. The overwhelm in emotions made you a bit sick for just thinking the opposite, struggling to find the words to stop Solar from what she was trying to do.
The papers on top of the desk, supposedly your contracts, seemed to be growing in size as the CEO's fingers tapped on them. When his eyes diverted from it to you, you knew there was no need to say anything else.
to be continued...
Tumblr media
a/n: y'all, after all this time I'm gonna let you hanging! sorry. for those of you who requested it (you know what), next part will have all of it :3

Yoonchae hesitantly holds hands with Y/n. Even though they were holding hands below the table, it was still incredibly risky. Considering the fact that both girls were idols, and from different groups no less, would completely destroy their career.
Yoonchae hated this. The korean hated the hiding, the concealing. She wants to show off her girlfriend to the world, to shout and tell them the one and only person she loved was none other than Y/n L/n.
But the Korean knew she had no choice. Gay people were gravely frowned upon in Korea. The girl doesn't even know whether or not her own parents would support her.
Y/n was even more popular than Yoonchae. The girl was a member of the famous girlgroup IVE, a group every junior admired.
The two had initially met at an award show. Y/n, ever so confident, approached the Korean first. Yoonchae was incredibly shy at first, thinking, "There is no way Y/n of IVE is talking to me right now."
But after a couple weeks, the two girls had grown close. Too close, for Yoonchae's liking. After a few months, Yoonchae noticed her heartbeat was too fast around the girl, her words almost always getting jumbled up whenever within the vicinity of her bestfriend. It was pathetic, really. Y/n never let's her live it down.
Yoonchae had a feeling she knew why she felt that way, but growing up in a traditional house, the girl tried convincing herself it wasn't true. She had nothing against gay people of course, but the internalised homophobia the Korean had to grow up with was starting to hit her hard.
Yoonchae ran to an old friend for help, who had calmly asked her two questions.
"Alright, let me ask you two questions. Would the world end if you came out as gay?" Yoonchae was weirded out by the question.
"What? That doesn't even make sense.." Her friend sighed.
"I didn't mean it literally, Yoons. I meant would it feel like your world was ending?" Yoonchae almost immediately answered.
"But my— my parents wouldn't... and the public, good god, my fans. I can't be—" Her friend then interrupted her.
"Now imagine Y/n with someone else. Someone who most definitely isn't you. Would you be able to bear that? Does that seem like it's worse than your world 'ending'?" Yoonchae paused, her expression filled with every negative emotion possible. Anger, sadness, and confusion were all neatly displayed on her face.
".... yes." Her friend smiled, content with Yoonchae's answer.
"There's your answer."
After the conversation, Yoonchae had taken a day off. To think about herself, and her feelings. It was definitely a big thing to process, the fact that she had apparently never liked men. The Korean had always questioned where the "spark" her friends always mentioned was. But now that she had thought about it, the girl now knew why.
It took a while, but eventually, Yoonchae had finally accepted herself for who she was. However, the Korean still come out to her members. She wasn't ready yet.
But now, after successfully confessing to Y/n and having been together for the past two years, the Korean finally considered herself ready.
And today, she was going to ask Y/n if she would like to meet her members. Not as a friend, but as her partner, as the love of her life.
As Yoonchae got in Y/n's newly acquired car, one she got right after earning her license, the Korean took it as a good time to ask.
"Y/n? Can i ask you something?" The girl was nervous. What if she said no?
"Yes Yoons? What's up?"
"I.. i want to introduce you. To my members, I mean." Y/n was shocked, but excited. Extremely excited.
"Really?"
"Really. I'm ready, Y/n. I want them to know I have a beautiful wonderful girlfriend who takes care of me every single day." Y/n, so enamoured by Yoonchae's braveness, leans over for an excited and cheeky kiss.
"Love you soo much Yoon!"
Yoonchae warmly smiles, "Love you too hun."

It was finally the day. Today, Y/n was going to introduce herself to Yoonchae's members as her girlfriend. Well, not immediately, but eventually.
Yoonchae had carefully planned out the afternoon. First, she would get her members to warm up to Y/n. Then during dinner, finally tell them something— or rather someone she's been keeping a secret for far too long.
Y/n nervously rings the doorbell, adjusting her collar just before Manon, one of Yoonchae's bandmates, answer the door.
"Hey girl so nice to meet you, Yoonchae's friend right?" Y/n nods, and returns Manon's smile.
"Come in girl, she's like in her room right now." Y/n hesitantly walks into the house and is met with Megan and Daniela on the couch, Sophia and Lara apparently in the kitchen, and Yoonchae exiting her room.
"Y/n! Hi! Sorry, I had to grab my switch. Let's play now." Yoonchae shot Y/n a cheeky smile, one she undoubtedly fell for.
"Oh you are going DOWN! Also hi, nice to meet you guys." Megan and Daniela sweetly greet the girl, finding the difference of her demeanour with them and Yoonchae silly.

It has been four hours since you and Yoonchae have started playing on her switch, the game projected on the TV. An hour in, Megan and Lara had joined you and Yoonchae's games of Mario Cart.
Yoonchae couldn't help the warm smile slowly creep up her face. It was nice. Seeing you interact with her members was just so— natural.
Sophia and Lara were peacefully sat on the couch, Manon taking pictures in the corner of the livingroom. It was as if Y/n was already a part of them, a part of their little family. And Yoonchae loved it.
By now, it was already dark outside. Dinnertime was approaching, and Yoonchae had to prepare herself. They liked her so far, nothing bad is gonna happen.

As they all ate on the dinner table, Manon started a conversation.
"I still can't believe you're friends with Y/n from IVE Yoonchae, How did you guys even meet?" The couple looked at each other, a cheeky smile on both their faces.
"Oh, we met because of a common friend. That's all." Manon nodded in response, and Lara looked at Yoonchae and Y/n a little suspiciously.
As they all finished off their food, Yoonchae had very suddenly asked them all to sit on the couch, which confused her members. But they obeyed nonetheless, curious as to what their maknae had to say.
They all lined up on the couch in order, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Sophia. While Yoonchae and Y/n stood in front of the five.
"I just wanted to say..." Yoonchae said as she held your hand, doing so in a romantic manner. Lara's eyes shot up, as if saying "I FUCKING KNEW IT!"
"I'm dating Y/n. I like girls. The whole point of today was to get you all to warm up to her." Yoonchae wasn't sure how her members would react, but she was pretty sure at least Megan and Manon were gay, so it wouldn't be that bad.
Barrages of questions were shot from Daniela and Manon's mouth, and Lara asking for her 10 dollars from Megan could be heard too. But all Sophia did was send the couple a warm smile. The leader kindly asked them all to shut the fuck up, and after the rest did as she said, she calmly and proudly told the couple.
"I'm proud. Thank you both for trusting us, and congrats on your relationship. You don't have to give us all the information about your relationship now— you can do that as the night progresses. Let's just enjoy the night, yeah? You should sleep over Y/n." Yoonchae teared up, and Y/n did too, thankful the Katz were accepting.
Yoonchae leaned in to Y/n's ear, and whispered, "Love you." Y/n giggled like a little kid, and gave her a little cheek kiss, which resulted in reactions from the rest of Katseye.
