Sylus: Desert Flight
A short and sweet drabble that I wrote as a treat for myself during a flare up.
Summary: You and Sylus take your daughter to test out her new wings in the desert near the oasis
AO3 if you prefer
Contains: maximum levels of fluff, no editing thanks to flare up, reader is referred to as mom.
Notes: i didn't give the daughter a name or age here, feel free to imagine as you like.
The stars are just beginning to peek through the haze of sunset in the oasis, twinkling in the deep navy expanse above as the last bit of light leaches away from the sky. You've never seen the stars this clearly; the light pollution in Linkon barely allows you to see all but the brightest of stars, and the deepspace tunnel occupies a large portion of the sky anyway. But here, you can easily imagine space stretching into worlds far beyond your own.
“Mom!” A small, excited voice drags your attention back down from the heavens, “Come on! You’re taking for-ev-ver!”
You assure your daughter, who is practically vibrating with excitement, that you are coming. She's been waiting (impatiently) to try this for weeks now. Sylus had promised her that, once her little wings were strong enough, he would take her to practice real flying. However, doing so in the neon-bright nights of Linkon would be begging for a troublesome amount of attention. And despite the vast improvements of the state of affairs in the N109 zone, it still wasn't safe enough to let a child test out her brand new wings.
So, the three of you had taken a family trip to the oasis. It's relatively easy to monitor her safety here; most people you have met seem to buy the explanation that your daughter has a gene-modifying evol, so she has been able to keep her wings out. In Linkon and the N109, you are always on alert for any remaining presence of EVER, and you’re careful not to allow her wings out too frequently. With your memories now intact, you know what they did to you as a child, as well as Luke and Kieran, and you will be damned if any remaining shreds of EVER try to lay a finger on your child. Sylus, with memories of his previous life also intact, is just as cautious. Now and again, when he holds your daughter, you will see him stroking the tender, delicate membranes of her wing with an inscrutable face.
But tonight is not the night for old wounds and memories. Something new and wonderful is happening under these stars.
As it stands, the desert is peaceful. You watch as Sylus walks through the dunes ahead of you, your daughter clinging to his back, little wings fluttering instinctively as the cool night breeze fills them. She's so similar in her look to Sylus, both of their heads gleaming silver in the rising moonlight, both sets of sanguine eyes scanning the surroundings (one set with alertness, the other with boundless curiosity). He would claim, though, that your daughter is all you in spirit; courageous and determined to a fault, always wanting to help even a complete stranger on the street.
Sylus turns slightly to make sure you're still following, eyes sparking with a kind of excitement and unadulterated pride you’ve only rarely seen in him before, and always related to his little princess. It appeared first on the day she was born, and had shown up now and again afterwards, when she took her first steps, when she first said ‘dada’, and when she first dug a fang into Kieran’s hand.
“Getting distracted, sweetie?” he calls.
"The stars are gorgeous here, it's hard to not get distracted!”
“Mm,” his low, amused hum glides to you on the breeze, “and here I thought you were distracted by the handsome view in front of you.”
“Da-ad, ew.” Your daughter groans. Both of you laugh, the sound joyously loud in the quiet landscape.
Eventually the three of you come to a stop at the crest of a dune.
"The sand is soft here,” Sylus explains, as he gently returns your daughter to earth, “go ahead and try, the drop will give you some time to glide.”
Your daughter's feet shuffle restlessly in the sand, “You aren't going to show me how?”
Sylus gives her a slight smile, “My wings would cause a sandstorm here, princess. If that happened, you wouldn't be able to fly tonight.”
She gives a serious nod, the stories you've told her at bedtime of her father (though they are taken from another life) ring true to her.
“No monsters here, right, mom?” She looks to you for assurance.
You check your hunter's watch, as you always have done when she asks this. Though your daughter is unafraid of the dark and many other things children are usually terrified of, she's not immune to all fears. Wanderers, especially, seem to take the place of more traditional monsters in her mind. However, when she was three, you comforted her with your tales of being a hunter, and having a watch that could detect when they are near.
“All normal,” you report, giving her a thumbs-up, “perimeter secure.”
She gives you a bright smile. Soon, she will be too old for these sorts of platitudes to work. But for now, they give her comfort as she faces a new challenge.
“Okay,” she mutters to herself, wings stretching in preparation, sinewy young muscles testing their own strength
Sylus gives her some reminders as he crouches next to her on one knee; let the drop fill your wings first, then flap to catch some air, angle them up as you come to land. She listens attentively, wings mimicking the movements to help her remember.
“What if I fall?”
“You probably will,” Sylus says somberly, and you can see the confidence in your daughter waver slightly, “are you going to let that stop you?”
You know he would accept it if she does want to stop. Sylus always gives her a choice when she faces something that intimidates her, or tests her limits. He never pushes, trusting your daughter to know herself. It’s one of the myriad things you admire about your husband.
Your daughter thinks hard for a moment, eyes narrowing, “No. I want to fly. Even if I fall a little.”
“That's my princess,” Sylus grins at her, eyes shining with pride once more as he stands.
You move to his side as your daughter stands at the crest, wings stretching once more. You take his arm as she backs up slowly, face set with determination, and then sprints to the edge. Your fingertips dig into Sylus's arm as you hold your breath, watching this insane, wonderful child you both created fling herself into the air.
She waits a moment too long to open her wings fully, and nearly crashes to the ground. But in the end, she does manage to catch a little air, and glides to a tumbling landing at the base of the dune.
Before you quite know what you are doing, you're hurtling down the slope too, losing victorious shouts as you slide down to your daughter. You help her up from the little pile she's landed in, showering her with praise for her glide.
She giggles, still young enough to be deeply pleased rather than embarrassed by all of your fussing (not that it will make you stop, regardless).
“Did you see, dad?” She calls to the top of the dune.
“Of course, Princess.” He calls back, and you feel the delighted flutters of your daughter's wings against your arms.
"I want to go again!” She exclaims, pushing against you, so that she can run back.
You set her down, “I bet I'll beat you to the top!” she crows, and immediately begins running.
She’s every inch as competitive as you are, sprinting and pumping her little legs for everything she's worth. Even her wings beat against the air as she goes, granting a little lift to her steps. Most of the time, you let your daughter win these little races. Every once in a while, though, a prize catches your eye, and you simply have to win. This is one of those times. So the two of you race across the cooling sand, little puffs of it flying up in your wake under the newly-darkened sky. You round the corner of the dune where Sylus is still standing, racing up the incline, hunter-trained muscles giving you the lead over your daughter. You make it to the crest, but do not slow; instead you push yourself just a little harder in the final stretch. You can't see your husband's face well in the dark, but you can imagine it well enough. You have seen his look of affectionate amusement so often by now that it may as well be the back of your own hand. You collide with his chest in a rush, flinging the pair of you over the edge of the dune. Sylus, though, is just as familiar with you as you are with him. As your bodies meet, the misty tendrils of his evol are already wrapping around the pair of you, slowing the fall into a weightless sensation that may as well be flight.
You feel his arms wrap around you, strong and warm, and his deep chuckle rumbles through his chest to your ear.
“I didn't know you were trying to fly today, sweetie. You could have just asked.”
“What's the fun in that?”
He chuckles again as the pair of you land in the soft sand, giving you a dazzling view of the universe in the clear sky above. Though it becomes difficult to appreciate, as most of Sylus's weight settles on top of your body.
“Sy,” you grunt, wriggling to give yourself more room to breathe, “off, please!”
“I thought you liked me on top of you, kitten.”
“Sylus! She's-”
“At the top of the dune. She can't hear me.”
He presses a quick kiss to the shell of your ear, a promise of what will come after your daughter is deep asleep in her own room, before relenting and beginning to move off of you.
A large shadow blots out the sky above, and for a heart-stopping moment, your mind screams at you to prepare for a wanderer. However, when the shadow lands (heavily) on the pair of you with a squeals and a giggle, your fears quickly subside.
“Got you!” She yells triumphantly, and you can't help but laugh.
“Well done, princess,” Sylus says, tucking back the hair that's fallen out of your daughter's braid, “You saw your opportunity and seized it.”
Your daughter beams, again delighted at the praise.
The three of you remain for a time, until the chill in the air turns to a cold bite. You carry your exhausted daughter alongside Sylus as you walk back to the oasis town, your free hand entwined in his, under the watch of the stars.

Sylus remembers clearly the day he found out you were both having twins. Twins, as in two babies as yours and his first children.
How you almost passed out when the doctor delivered the news, but he was quick to tell you that everything would be okay.
He's going to be the best husband for you, and for the twins..?
they sure were going to be a handful.
“Sylus!” Sylus' head snapped towards the kitchen, where your voice had come from, “come get your son before i cook him!”
He knew that you were joking. Probably.
the kitchen, one hand holding his little girl's hand guiding her along. "Now, now," he called out as he entered the kitchen, "No cooking the children, sweetie.”
You let out a sigh when you watch the boy run away while letting out giggles, his face and hands full of white flour.
Seeing this, Sylus let out an exasperated sigh as well, his gaze shifting from his running figure to the mess of flour on the floor. "Sorry about the mess he made," he muttered before looking over at you, a sheepish smile on his face. "Go to your brother,” he urges the girl next to him, she nods slowly before running off to him.
“I'll feed him to the ducks one day.” You say with determination, still focused on trying to make this dinner a success after the mess.
But Sylus chuckled at your threat, knowing all too well that you were only half-serious. He could see the twitching in your eyes, but he also knew that you loved both of your children dearly, even if they could be a handful sometimes.
”Though I suspect he would probably find a way to befriend them and make a mess with them.”
“.. why are you right?”
“because i know my children,” he says proudly, then makes slow steps from behind you to not alert you so suddenly, his arms snaking around your waste with his chin resting on your shoulder, “what are you making?”
You smile, “dinner.”
"Smartass," he teased, "I meant what kind of dinner are you making?” he whispers calmly, a soft conversation between you two, with his thumb rubbing ideally on you.
“hm, i could be dinner… but oh well.” you sigh dramatically and he laughs quietly.
You couldn't even continue because you hear a faint “ewwww.” Coming from the corner.
You both glance back at the two heads peeking out from the wall, and you roll your eyes.
"and here I was, having a moment with your mother," he said to them, his voice still low yet amused. "You two really have a knack for interrupting, don't you?”
Your little girl was the first to speak, “it was his idea.” She started quietly, her fingers fidgeting together, but her brother only gasped, “she's lying!”
"Oh, really now?" he’s skeptical, and he approaches both of them with his arms crossed, “Hmm, it's always the innocent ones who lie, isn't it?”
“but I'm not—”
“liar.” The little one huffs and looks away with annoyance, but the minute he could hear his sister im the verge of tears, he knew he messed up.
Sylus was quick to notice her distraught demeanor, his heart clenching slightly at the sight of her on the verge of tears.
"you," Sylus pointed out at the other twin, his voice firmer and authoritative, "did you cause the mess?”
…
Sylus let out a deep sigh, his stern expression softening slightly. He knew he was just being a mischievous little boy, but he also had to nip such behavior in the bud.
"You know better than to blame others for your pranks,” he said, his voice firm but gentle. "Apologize to your sister.”
The girl sniffled, the threat of tears subsiding as she accepted her brother's apology. She wiped away her stray tears with the back of her hand, a small smile forming on her face.
Sylus nodded approvingly, he patted both of them on their head gently. "There we go, now go back and play together.”
This whole time you were watching the scene with the biggest smile on your face, and Sylus was already prepared for your upcoming teasing words.
“and the father of the year goes to.. you.” ... except he didn't expect this rare sweet statement of yours. He's reminded of why he put a ring on it in the beginning.
"What can I say?" he replied, his voice filled with pride. "I have a talent for handling troublemakers." He placed both of his arms on the counter to your sides, boxing you in, "though, to be fair, they get their mischievous streaks from their mother," he added, and you gasp before turning around. burnt dinner it is.

Hide-and-Seek [Sylus + Daughter ★ 1247 words ★ Masterlist ★ Series Index ★ AO3] Sylus shows his daughter a fun trick. A/N: Hi, hi, I’m going to try to work on the LNDS men + their kids series again. (the plushie trend going around is giving me baby fever again :’))
“…Daddy…Daddy…”
Sylus groaned softly as he woke up, hearing a tiny voice just outside his bedroom calling for him. He blinked his bleary eyes, looking at the clock. It was almost nine in the morning, but for the Onychinus leader who followed a nocturnal schedule, that meant that he had not slept for too long. He could hear the voice outside his bedroom door getting louder, hearing a little girl crying, and he instantly recognized who it was. He immediately bolted up and gotten out of bed, racing to the door in a flash.
He opened the door, his eyes softened as he saw his little girl sitting there holding tightly a Grumpy Crow plushie and wiping her eyes as she cried softly, “…Daddy…Daddy…”
He immediately scooped her into his arms, smiling softly as she buried her face into his neck, crying harder as she clung to him. He rubbed her small back and shushed her gently. “Baby, why are you sitting there crying? What happened?”
The little toddler sniffled. “I can’t find Lukey…and Kier-Kier…”
Sylus raised his brow in confusion. “What do you mean? Are they not watching you?”
Sylus closed his bedroom door and walked over to his bed, sitting down and setting his daughter on his lap. He wiped at her eyes and shushed her softly again. “What do you mean you can’t find Luke and Kieran?”
The girl continued to sniffle, wiping at her runny nose furiously. She hugged her plushie tighter. “We’re playing hide-and-seek…”
Sylus immediately understood.
“I can’t find Lukey and Kier-Kier…and…I got scared…”
“Oh, baby.” Sylus immediately held his daughter closer to him. “Do you want Daddy to help you find them?”
The girl looked at her father confused. She sniffed.
Sylus smirked. “Daddy has a fun trick. Do you want to try it?”
Forgetting her tears, the girl nodded excitedly.
“Alright, hold onto me tightly now, my little birdie.”
Dropping the crow plushie, the girl wrapped her little arms tightly around her father’s neck again, and then within a flash, Sylus used his Evol, disappearing from the room, leaving behind only a faint mist of energy.
In the next instance, he reappeared in the hallway, his daughter’s giggles resounding loudly down the long, empty corridors. He shifted her in his arms and they both looked around. “Not here,” Sylus mumbled thoughtfully, hearing his daughter echoed his words. He smiled and tickled her, hearing her delightful laughter again. It was the sweetest sound he had ever heard. He just wanted to greedily pocket all of her laughter and smiles for himself.
He kissed her forehead. “Alright, where should we try next, baby?”
The girl hummed thoughtfully. “Kitchen?”
Sylus nodded. “Alright, kitchen it is,” he said, and they both vanished in another mist.
A moment later, the father-daughter duo reappeared in the kitchen. Sylus could faintly hear an unfamiliar noise nearby. He motioned for his daughter to be silent and she obediently covered her mouth with her two little hands. Sylus had to refrain from laughing at her adorable behavior. He whispered softly so only she could hear him, “Let’s try the pantry, baby.”
The girl nodded and clung to her father as they teleported from the kitchen to inside the pantry. A moment later, Luke let out a scream.
“That’s not fair, Little Miss!”
The girl giggled. “Lukey!” She held her arms out for the younger man and Sylus let her jumped over to Luke’s arms.
“Jeez, I didn’t think you would join in on the fun, Boss.”
“I didn’t think you two would let my daughter cry alone in the hallway.”
Even though Luke was wearing his mask, his demeanor changed the moment he heard Sylus’ words. He looked down at the little girl in his arms and apologized to her. “I’m sorry, Little Miss, were you scared?”
“A little…”
“Kieran and I will do better next time,” he promised. He smiled when the girl wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled closer.
“Ah—Lukey, cookie!”
The two men watched the girl, confused. They followed her hand motion and looked at the shelf behind Luke to see a jar of white and pink-frosted animal-shaped cookies with little pastel-colored nonpareils sprinkles.
“Boss?”
Sylus crossed his arms over his chest and smirked, amused when his daughter turned and gave him her large, pleading puppy dog eyes. “Alright, just a few,” he said as he walked over and grabbed the jar on the shelf. He opened the jar and held it out to his daughter, watching with a smile as she happily and greedily grabbed as many as her little hands could hold. He lowered his voice and kissed her forehead as he spoke, “We won’t tell Mommy.”
He laughed when she held out a tiger-shaped cookie for him. He opened his mouth and let her feed him the cookie. It tasted sweeter than normal, Sylus thought, smiling as his daughter turned and held up a giraffe-shaped cookie for Luke, pushing up his mask enough to feed him.
“Well, thank you, Little Miss,” Luke responded, chewing his cookie.
“This one is for Kier-Kier,” the girl said, holding up an elephant-shaped cookie. She looked at her father with a pout, “Daddy…can we go look for Kier-Kier?”
“Of course, baby,” Sylus said as he took her back from Luke.
“Try the foyer,” Luke suggested, and Sylus nodded before disappearing once more.
In the next instance, Kieran’s scream could also be heard within the base.
“B-Boss?! Little Miss?”
“Kier-Kier!”
Kieran instantly caught the little girl that jumped over to him. He appeared surprised when he saw her holding something in her hand to him. “What’s this, Little Miss?”
“Cookie!”
Kieran seemed to smile under his mask as he took the cookie from the little girl. “For me? Little Miss is the sweetest,” he said as he lifted his own mask enough to eat the offered confection. “Yummy.”
“Alright, baby,” Sylus said, walking over and patting his daughter’s head, “It looks like you won this game of hide-and-seek.”
The girl giggled, looking shy. “Daddy helped…”
“Little Miss knows how to use her resources,” Kieran quipped.
“Smart little birdie,” Luke’s voice joined in as he walked into the foyer, clapping in approval.
The girl seemed to blush from embarrassment at hearing all of these proud praises. Suddenly, everyone heard the sound of a motorcycle approaching from outside. Sylus smirked as he reached over for his daughter again.
“Oh? Is that Mommy?”
The girl nodded excitedly, recognizing the sound of her mother’s motorcycle. “Mommy’s home!”
“She’s very early today,” Sylus quipped. He whispered to his daughter mischievously, “We should go greet her.”
The girl clung tightly to her father again, her own mischievous smile identical to his as they disappeared from the foyer.
A moment later, a third scream was heard at Onychinus base that morning.
“Sylus!”
With a laugh and as dark feathers drifted all around, Sylus gathered the two most precious girls in his life into his arms, mumbling softly into his wife’s ear, “Welcome home, sweetie.”
“Welcome home, Mommy,” the little girl piped up, mimicking her father’s tone. She snuggled in her parents’ embrace before pulling out a cookie to Sylus’ uneasiness.
“Lion for Mommy!”
“Baby, where did you—Sylus, it’s only ten in the morning!”
“Come on, baby, let’s leave. Mommy is baring her fangs at Daddy.”
With that, Sylus disappeared again in another mist, leaving his wife yelling after him in the courtyard as their daughter giggled and snuggled closer to him.

Girl Dad Sylus
Sylus never thought he would be a father. But once Sammie was born, his love and protective fatherly nature came out of him. He wanted to give his daughter the best life she deserves. His little crow meant the world to him, and he definitely shows it by having pictures in his wallet, spending time with her and making her feel loved.
From buying her all the toys she wants, to buy all the cute clothes and hair accessories. He'll make sure that she eats healthy meals and reads several books to her before her bedtime.
He is thankful for Angel for blessing him with a beautiful daughter.
He would do anything for her.

sylus is a girl dad, mainly looking from his newest card, he's defintely a girl dad.
just imagine waking up to find him gone from bed. you stretch and turn to get up- on your way to find him. walking along the halls of the mansion until you stop by the room of your daughter- sylus, boss of onichynus, braiding his daughters hair as she gigglea and tells him about what happened in class yesterday.
"hi momm!! look! papa braided my hair!!" the small girl twirls to let you see how pretty her new braids were.
you pick up your little angel, letting her sit idly in her arms as she continues where she last left off with her father off.
as you take a seat beside your husband on the silk cushions of luxury, your daughter now on your lap, holding her like how you would with a cat.
she laid down on both of your laps while intently hearing her out on why pink is better than beige.
"i'm afraid mommy has to disagree." she pouts at you. "whyyyy!! look, pink is better!" she gets up and grabs your arm with her little fingers. she put her small arm next to yours, comparing her light pink pjs to your beige nightgown.
"well, mommy looks better in beige." "no, pink!" "beige." "piiiink!!"
you continued to bicker playfully with your daughter, but you noticed in the edge of your view, a loving gaze from sylus.
"i think both colors are great, c'mon." he gave a little push from his fingers onto your daughter's back.
"fine, jus' cuz momma looks good in everything." she smiles. "you're even prettier." "no you are!'
here we go again. man he's gotta get your daughter a sister sometime soon. maybe a brother.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧ pretty tough, pretty dad
pairings. sylus/qin che, fem!reader tags. 700+ wc, girl dad!sylus, mom!mc, domestic fluff, sylus braiding hair, suggestive ending, loosely inspired by sylus's grassland romance banner, dividers from anitalenia.
“daddy, you’re so pretty!”
the sound of soft giggles erupted through the room as sylus sat cross-legged on the floor, his daughter perched on his lap, and her small hands holding up a brush and a few brightly colored hair clips.
who would’ve thought that the boss of onychinus could transform into an entirely different man in these moments? sylus knew he couldn’t ever let luke and kieran see him at his current state, no. especially not when his white hair was a mess of star-shaped clips, and his face was full of tiny, sparkly stickers his little girl had ecstatically placed on him.
still, like the awesome daddy he was, he chuckled at his baby girl’s antics and carefully braided her hair, the movements precise yet gentle, despite the… well, occasional fumble. look, he wasn’t a professional by any means and the only practice he’d ever had was with you.
“pretty? i thought i’m supposed to be tough."
“nooo, daddy!” protested his four-year old. “you’re pretty and tough!”
he leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead before continuing to weave her hair into neat braids, like how he used to do with her mom. “well, if you say so, princess.”
and speaking of you, you were leaning against the doorframe at the time, watching the scene with an upward tug at your lips. it was moments like these that made you see another side to him—the side of sylus qin that no one else had ever seen. the man who was ruthless and intimidating to the world was, in the bright crimson eyes of his daughter, nothing but warmth and love.
“how’s it look?” sylus asked, tying off your daughter’s braid with a small ribbon.
“perfect!” the little girl exclaimed, clapping her hands before grabbing another hair clip, and this time placing it into her father’s hair. “now, you!”
“is it my turn, darling?” sylus raised an eyebrow but let her clip it in, allowing the glittery accessory to stand out comically against his pale locks. “you’re not going to make me wear these outside, are you?”
your daughter widened her grin in response, showing him exactly where she had gotten her mischief. “yes, daddy. duh!”
and so, he chuckled again, giving her a soft tickle that sent her into another fit of giggles. “all right, all right, princess. more stickers, too?”
“yes!” she grabbed the sheet of stickers, eagerly peeling them off and sticking them on his cheeks. sylus didn’t flinch, didn’t complain. he just let her do as she pleased, indulging in her every whim with a patience that surprised even you.
after a while, you came back to a room that grew quieter, and the giggles had long faded as your daughter yawned. sylus quickly shifted her in his lap, cradling her against his chest, and began to hum a lullaby
“mmmhm~ hmm~” truth be told, your husband’s singing was off-key, but you’d give him props for his sincerity and effort. and you couldn’t deny how your heart melted as you watched him sway slightly while he continued to sing even though his singing voice wasn’t the best.
“good night, daddy…”
“night night, princess.”
once she was fast asleep and carefully tucked in her small bed, sylus was quick to look for you in your room with a longing smile plastered on his lips. “honey?”
you met his gaze through the mirror as you dried your hair with a towel. “yeah?”
“you know,” he whispered as he walked towards you, the playful glint in his red eyes were impossible to miss, “my baby girl could use a little sibling. or two.”
“oh, does she?” you playfully rolled your eyes, feeling the heat on your cheeks as your husband snuggled his face into the crook of your neck. “and who’s going to wake up for the midnight feedings this time?”
sylus’s arms snaked around your waist, pulling you closer to his toned chest. “i will,” his breath was warm when he murmured against your ear, “you gotta admit i’m pretty good at this whole dad thing.”
you returned him a smile, turning around and leaning into his embrace as you glanced at the rise and fall of his chest. to think of it, since when did his arms become… meatier? “more babies, huh?”
“mm-hmm,” he hummed, pressing a soft kiss to the side of your neck, and chasing your lips the next. “imagine a house full of them—running around, giggling, driving you crazy… and me, of course.”
“we’ll see,” you whispered, unable to hide the smile that crept onto your face as he pressed a tender kiss to your lips. a gentle, innocent kiss that later became rough and wanton as his tongue explored your mouth with an eagerness that couldn’t be stopped.
“oh, we will, honey,” he only replied as he pulled away, letting you pant in heavy breaths as he had you pinned against the wall, and about to plant the seed for the future he so clearly wanted. “and i’ll make sure you’ll see a positive test in two weeks.”

Everyone talks about Sylus being a girl dad, but what about him being a boy dad? 🤔🤔🤔 Like?
Imagine he’s having a meeting in his mansion, and his two-year-old son runs in and says, “Uppies!” with his pudgy, grabby little hands.
Sylus doesn’t miss a beat. As he speaks, he still wears that intense look, bouncing his toddler on his knee to satisfy him. The men around him don’t know whether to coo or keep quiet because watching the galaxy’s most notorious criminal play with his son is a sight to behold.
Everyone expects him to be a hard-ass through and through, especially with a boy. But his son makes him all the more vulnerable.

can I request lads men as dads with little babies with mc?
tysm love your hcs!
L&ds men as dads
Xavier , Zayne , Rafayel and Sylus (headcanon)
fluff
requests are open :)
Xavier
● Xavier would be nervous to know he'd be a father soon , he never saw himself the person who is good with kids
● however once your child was born , everything was different , all the nervousness and the doubts are gone , he adapted so quickly , like he was meant to become a father all along.
● If you had a son, they’d quickly become "best buddies" as Xavier loves to call their bond.
● He’d be the type of dad who spends hours playing sports in the backyard whether it’s football, volleyball, or anything involving a ball.
● however if you two had a little girl , it would be harder for xavier to find activities that they'd both enjoy , but eventually he'd join her tea parties with enthusiasm.
● he'll buy her doll houses , every once in a while him and his daughter would go shopping for a different doll house, by the time he'll develop an interest in them himself.
Zayne
● hands down would be the best father if he wasn't as busy as he is , he loves his kids to death , especially that both of your kids had taken traits from you , their mother , it's like he is raising mini yous sometimes.
● As a doctor, he’s a bit strict about their diet , candy is definitely not an everyday treat in his house.
● he loves to take the three of you out whenever he's free , like trips to the aquarium , the amusement park etc..
● At bedtime, he tucks the kids in and reads them stories. Like all kids, they beg him to read the same story again once it’s done, and he usually gives in once or twice before firmly telling them it’s time to sleep.
● he'd help them with school homework as much as he can , especially in math since he knows how much you dislike to deal with it .
● would probably be scolding his kids and you included for playing outside when it rains , and you'll all come to him with a runny nose.
Rafayel
● he is a girl's dad probably , he likes to take his daughter shopping , absolutely spoiling her with toys and dresses , to the point where you scold him for spoiling her a little too much .
● like xavier , rafayel would also sit down at her tea party and join her in the playful gossip sessions .
● when he kisses you on the cheek , he'd tell the kids to come join him and kiss your cheeks as well "mommy deserves the best kisses in the world" turning it into a family tradition.
● in times where his kids are awfully naughty and tire him out , he'd come to you complaining "I didn't know that our kids would all be stubborn like you , I should've thought twice before getting you pregnant" and you'd roll your eyes everytime.
● His artistic talent clearly runs in the family , your kids quickly pick up on how to draw and surprise everyone with their impressive skills at such a young age.
● whenever he's away for work , he'd video call you to check in on you , and asks you to hand your phone to the kids so he could talk to them as well.
Sylus
● I feel like both of his kids would inherit his personality , and you always tease him how they're always "itching to fight" , just like their father.
● he loves braiding his daughter's hair , and not only when she asks him to , he genuinely enjoys it and finds it calming.
● His little son constantly argues with Sylus over you. Whenever Sylus kisses you or has you seated on his lap, his son tries to claim you with his tiny hands, declaring, "that’s my mommy"
● the kids love their father's cooking , he rarely cooks considering him being busy most of the time , but when he does you all enjoy it .
● He insists on having Mephisto watch over the kids at kindergarten , you always scold him for sending a mechanical crow to a school full of children , but he says it's the best way to keep tabs on who's around them .
● on rare nights when he’s free, Sylus surprises you and the kids with little gifts , something meaningful for you and small toys for them, proving he’s always thinking about his family even when he’s away.

🐦⬛ Sylus
A comforting strong scent of baked cookies enveloped his senses the moment Sylus stepped foot into the penthouse. The sound of playful laughter and excited voices echoed from the direction of the kitchen, causing the corners of his mouth to lift into a smile. After a long day of tending to business matters, there was nothing that could compare to the feeling of returning home to his beloved family.
Upon entering the kitchen, Sylus was greeted by the sight of you and their six-year-old twins, Sylvia and Skylar, engaged in what appeared to be a lively baking session. Flour dusted their cheeks and aprons as they worked together, their laughter filling the room with warmth and happiness.
"Daddy, you're home!" Sylvia exclaimed when she caught sight of him, dropping her mixing spoon and rushing over to hug Sylus tightly. "We missed you so much!"
Skylar followed suit, wrapping her small arms around Sylus's legs and gazing up at him with adoring eyes. "Welcome back, Daddy. We made cookies for you!"
Sylus chuckled, scooping up both girls and spinning them around making them squeal in excitement before setting them back down gently. He turned to you as you wiped your hands on a dish towel, a smile playing on your lips despite the slightly exasperated look in your eyes.
"Well, well, well." Sylus drawled, sauntering over to his wife and pulling you into his arms with a quick kiss. "It seems my girls have been up to some mischief in my absence."
You rolled your eyes playfully, but leaned into Sylus's embrace. "Oh, you have no idea. These two little angels of yours decided to have a flour fight while I was trying to teach them how to bake."
Sylus laughed heartily, ruffling the twins' hair affectionately. "Is that so? Well, I suppose a little chaos is to be expected when raising such spirited girls."
He turned to Sylvia and Skylar, his expression softening. "But I must say, the cookies smell absolutely delicious. You two did a fantastic job."
The twins beamed with pride, their earlier mischief forgotten in the presence of their father's praise. They eagerly led Sylus over to the counter, where a plate of slightly misshapen but undoubtedly homemade cookies awaited him.
As Sylus savored the sweet treat, he couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude for his family. Despite the challenges and dangers that came with his line of work, moments like these was everything he looked forward to every waking day. With you by his side and their beautiful daughters growing up to be strong and loving individuals, Sylus knew he was the luckiest man in the world.
☃️ Zayne
Zayne instantly perked up at the aroma of freshly baked macarons wafting through the air as he entered his home, the sweet scent putting a smile on his face. It had been a long, grueling day at the hospital, but the sound of joyful laughter and soft giggles from his wife and daughter echoing down the hallway made the exhaustion fade away as he headed towards the kitchen.
You looked up from the kitchen counter where you were carefully placing the colorful French cookies onto a plate, a bright smile spreading across your face upon seeing your husband. "Welcome home, dear."
Five-year-old Zania, who had been eagerly waiting by the oven door, squealed with delight at the sight of her father. She dropped the oven mitts she was wearing and ran towards Zayne, throwing her small arms around his legs in a tight hug. "Papa! You're back!"
Zayne chuckled, reaching down to scoop up his precious daughter into his arms. He nuzzled his nose against hers playfully, making his daughter burst into another fit of giggles. "Hey there, my little sweet tooth." He teased affectionately. "Did you and Mama have fun baking today?"
"Yep!" Zania beamed cheerfully, wrapping her small arms around his neck with a squeezing hug. "We baked macarons for papa!"
You chuckled, picking up the dropped oven mitts that your daughter had dropped before joining both of them. You wrapped an arm around Zayne's waist, leaning up to press a quick kiss to his cheek. "Little sweet tooth right here wanted to surprise you with your favorite treat."
Zayne smiled, his heart swelling with love and gratitude for his wonderful family. He placed a gentle kiss on top of his daughter's head, then turned to pressed a short yet sweet kiss on your lips, a warm smile curled on his lips. "Well, you two certainly know how to make me feel special. Thank you." He said sincerely, his voice filled with affection.
Your soft eyes shining with adoration as you reach up to cup Zayne's cheek, your thumb brushing lightly over his skin. "You deserve to feel special every day, Zayne. We love you so much."
Zayne chuckled softly as he leaned into your touch, his eyes fluttering closed for a brief moment as he savored the tender moment with his loved ones. "I love you both more." He declared, pulling you and his daughter closer into a tight embrace.
The simple domestic scene filled him with a deep contentment, grateful for these moments with the two most important people in his life. No matter how stressful his job got, coming home to this made it all worthwhile.
🐟 Rafayel
Rafayel's homecoming from his overseas art exhibition was met with a flurry of activity and excitement. The moment he stepped through the front door, the rich aroma of chocolate enveloped him, making his mouth water instantaneously. As he made his way down the hallway, the sound of his wife and daughters' lively chatter grew louder, filling the air with warmth and joy.
Rushing into the kitchen with an excited grin, Rafayel took in the chaotic yet endearing scene before him. Flour dusted your cheeks as you attempted to corral the energetic triplets, who were covered in chocolate smudges and wearing matching impish grins.
"My little mermaids!" Rafayel exclaimed, announcing his arrival by the kitchen door. "I'm home!"
You turned around at the sound of his voice, your gaze sparkling with joy as you rushed over to embrace him tightly. "Welcome back, Rafayel!" You exclaimed, peppering his face with kisses.
Rafayel chuckled as he held you close, breathing in the familiar scent of your perfume mixed with the sweetness of chocolate. He couldn't help but laugh as the triplets squealed with excitement and tackled him in a group hug. "Papa! You're back!" They cried out in unison, their little faces beaming with happiness.
"Of course I'm back, my sweet girls." Rafayel chuckled, scooping them up into his arms and twirling them around. "Did you miss me?"
"So much!" Rania giggled, nuzzling her face against his chest.
"We made you a special welcome home cake, Papa!" Raine chimed in, her eyes shining with pride.
"It's chocolate, your favorite!" Runa added, bouncing excitedly in his arms.
Rafayel's heart melted at their enthusiasm. He glanced over at you, who was watching them with a tender smile on your face. "Thank you, my darling." He mouthed silently, grateful for the love and warmth that filled their home.
"Come on, let's go taste this amazing cake!" Rafayel declared, setting the triplets down and following them to the kitchen table. As they gathered around the beautifully decorated chocolate cake, Rafayel's heart was brimming with overwhelming joy and happiness. Through everything he had gone through in his life, he finally found where he belonged - here, surrounded by the love of his incredible wife and their wonderful children.
🐰 Xavier
After a long and arduous mission, Xavier finally returned home, his heart swelling with anticipation to see his beloved wife and daughter again. As he stepped through the doorway, the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked egg tarts linger through the air, making his mouth water. The happy laughter and excited voices of you and their 5-year-old daughter, Luna, echoed down the hallway, guiding him towards the kitchen.
Unable to contain his excitement any longer, Xavier teleported himself into the kitchen, startling the mother-daughter duo. "Surprise!" He exclaimed with a wide grin, his blue eyes twinkling with pure happiness.
You gasped, your eyes widening in surprise before breaking into a radiant smile. You set down the tray of warm egg tarts you were holding and rushed over to Xavier, throwing your arms around his neck. "You're back early!" You exclaimed, your voice filled with relief and affection.
"Daddy!" Luna squealed with delight, bouncing in her seat at the kitchen table. She immediately slid off her chair and ran to Xavier, launching herself into his arms. He caught her easily, spinning her around and making exaggerated growling noises that sent Luna into a fit of giggles. "I missed you so much!"
Xavier chuckled softly, holding his little girl close. "I missed you too, my little star." He murmured, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
He then turned his attention to you, his eyes roaming over your face as if trying to memorize every detail. "I missed you both terribly. I couldn't stop thinking about you and Luna every moment I was gone." He admitted, his voice low and tender.
You smiled softly, leaning your head on his shoulder as you hugged Xavier and Luna close, your voice murmuring softly. "Welcome home, honey. Thank you for coming back to us safe and sound."
Xavier's heart swelled as held his family close, the warmth of their love enveloping him like a comforting blanket, he knew that this moment was what he had been fighting for - to return to the embrace of his beloved wife and cherished daughter. The mission may have been successful, but coming home to this was his true victory.
