Hakuoki: il nuovo OVA sarà composto da 3 episodi, ecco il primo teaser trailer

L’anime debutterà in Giappone il 13 novembre.

Svelato un primo breve video promozionale per il nuovo OVA ispirato al popolare franchise otome di “Hakuoki”. L’anime sarà composto in tutto da 3 episodi che verranno distribuiti sia in streaming sulla piattaforma giapponese U-NEXT, che in home video.

Le puntate saranno disponibili online rispettivamente dal 13 novembre, 11 dicembre e 29 gennaio 2022. I box Blu-ray e Dvd invece usciranno il 24 dicembre, 28 gennaio 2022 e il 25 febbraio 2022.

Lo staff sarà lo stesso dei precedenti adattamenti: La regia presso STUDIO DEEN (Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. KonoSuba) è affidata a Osamu Yamasaki (Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles), il character design è curato da Atsuko Nakajima (Bungo and Alchemist - Gears of Judgement, Sakamoto desu ga?) e le musiche sono nuovamente composte da Kow Otani (The Pilot's Love Song, Another).

L’originale videogioco, che ha data vita alla saga, è uscito originariamente per Playstation 2 nel settembre del 2008, ma è poi arrivato anche in Occidente nella sua versione rimasterizzata, divisa in due parti chiamate “Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds” e “Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms”. Nel 2010 è stato pubblicato anche un prequel della visual novel, intitolato “Hakuouki Reimeiroku”, mentre di recente sono stati rilasciati due novi capitoli della saga dal titolo “Hakuoki Shinkai: Tsukikage no Sho” e “Hakuoki Shinkai: Ginsei no Sho”.

In questa storica visual novel fantasy, vestirai i panni della giovane Chizuru, determinata a trovare suo padre in mezzo al dramma di Kyoto nel periodo Bakumatsu. Inizia una storia d’amore con uno dei famosi samurai della Shinsengumi mentre scopri i loro oscuri segreti e ti trovi faccia a faccia con i misteri del tuo passato. In questa avventura testuale, scegli tra una varietà di scelte narrative e trame ramificate che sbloccano 30 finali diversi.

Finora il franchise ha ispirato tre serie animate, prodotte fra il 2010 e il 2012, un OVA di sei episodi, una serie di corti e un paio di film riassuntivi, oltre che ha svariati manga, spettacoli teatrali e ad una serie live action.

I used to like a certain hakuouki guy (that is not Kazama) so much, but now I hate him because I read a fanfic in which I didn't like how he treated Chizuru and i didn't like his relationship with Chizuru there 💔

Kei

In the late morning, Kei sends his chauffeur to come to pick you up. When you reach the destination, you see Kei waiting for you under a flowering tree with a picnic set up.

You two spend some time there, and he feeds you your favorite foods that he made himself. While you enjoy the food, Kei watches you with a soft expression. 

Mid-afternoon, he takes you to his mansion, where you two hang out for a little while, possibly watch a few episodes of his favorite drama. If you get bored with the drama, he takes you to the horse stables to spend time with some of his precious horses. 

In the evening, he asks one of the maids to take you to a room and get you ready. When you arrive in the room, you see a beautiful gown awaiting you along with heels and accessories. 

While you’re getting ready, Kei waits for you in a three-piece suit, and as soon as he sees you, he showers you with a TON of compliments. By the end, your cheeks turn so red that they could put a tomato to shame.

He takes you to the best restaurant in the city in his high-end Italian sports car. There you two dine like royalty with a full 12-course meal. After the meal, he asks if you would like to spend the night at his house.

If you decline, Kei respects your decision and drops you home. He leaves after passionately kissing you good night.  

If you accept, he takes you back to his mansion and depending on how long you two have been dating, you either stay in his room or the room next to his.  

If you stay in his room, expect at least a make-out session…keyword AT LEAST. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I don't know if you know this, but Kazama is the same age as Hijikata. The age gap between him and Chizuru is 12 years, the same as with Hijikata.

Don't forget that Kaoru is a pure blood Oni who massacred the whole Nagumo clan all alone because of how they kept humiliating and abusing him. He did that alone without being the most powerful Oni.

That means he's one extremely intelligent character. His perfect revenge was due to his cleverness.

Kaoru is so underrated.
