So I started watching 1883, and lemme just tell u I love it so far! I’m on the 5th ep and so far I think I figured out some things that go with the newer one (2022)

1. That when they were in Texas, that the ranch that the two cowboys were on is the four sixes. In the 2022 one it’s said that it’s the oldest ranch in Texas and if it can’t make u a cowboy nothing will.

2. Even tho I believe u already told me, Elsa is John Dutton’s great grandma, so Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw’s characters are his great great grandparents.

1)  first note, I did not catch that the boys were from the four sixes in 1883 so that’s fun! Second note did you know that ranch is actually real, like it’s a real ranch in Texas!

2) I have provided you with a family tree, it should answer any questions that you have. Elsa would be John’s great great aunt. Also, I don’t like the fact that there’s a little unknown Dutton at the bottom of the graph, because Jamie Dutton is not actually a Dutton and he can fuck off.

(Also my issue with Jamie and unknown Dutton baby: it’s not the part about him being adopted, adopted children are a part of the family just as much as blood. It’s the fact that he’s a little whiny bitch that doesn’t actually care. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.)

When I saw the Meet Josephine and read it my first thought was how cute, then as I saw it a second time my head started to sing “Heaven” by Warrant “…I don’t need to be the king of the world, as long as I’m the hero of this little girl…”
