Hot take: I cannot wait for the end of HoTD for the small folk to storm the dragon pit to end nuclear subjugation. What an amazing day for the backbone of Westerosi culture.

The Sandman is absolutely fantastic. I'm about halfway through and to avoid spoilers, I'm at the point where our main has a chat with his sister as she works.
It's just utterly beautiful.
The feelings up until this point. The humanity of the divinity reflected upon the characters. It makes me want to be better.

Opinion. Seriously, pure opinion.
Authors often write harmful and objective subjects within their literature. Sometimes there is a point and sometimes they are just writing a person who is over the top to not draw any type of empathy. Sometimes it's a general overall lack of knowledge or research on the authors part.
Part of studying the piece of literature for the reader is looking at the above and seeing what they actually did, was it intended, and what was the narrative reasoning behind it.
I had a conversation with my sister the other day about several fantasy series that have both great themes, some very good positive female aspects, but also (opinion) very poor subject matter in the female story lines (trauma=sequential growth, or I.E. using a situation common to many women's reality to promote a character becoming the person they need to be) and how to do it appropriately and when is it not appropriate? Who decides? Does it make it appropriate narratively if it helped a person in the real world recognize and bond with knowing if it's written about them it's likely they are not alone? How about in that moment in the series if it harmed someone else due to relatable trauma?
Does it make it both harmful and beneficial?
Anyways, I don't have an answer to any of the questions above.
My sis is a professional author and I am nowhere near one. We both walked away with the idea that a solution is not actually the answer, but the constant desire to keep reading and talking about it.
Anyways, it kept me up for a few nights, so thought I would share.

So, I draw, paint, and create art edits and art manipulations every day. I also write amongst every day. Most turn out absurd and unfinished. Such as below,

The above is part of my Elia and Sansa centric piece. I've been trying to cast my Tyene. I started with Emma Watson and finished with Anna Taylor Joy, but still not correct.
Sometimes I end up with something like below that has no story behind it or canon backing, but I just wanted to see it.

Or AU's...

There are so many pieces that I have never even thought to post.
Some of my oldest files in one note are concepts for ideas.
I say all this to simply state, you don't have to have a purpose when creating. Sometimes it's just about the moments of pleasure you get in the creativity. You don't owe anyone a date, timeline, reason for why you start and stop.
If you enjoy using a schedule when writing then wonderful! It's part of your process, but let it be for you.
Please don't let yourself become so overwhelmed with demands that you leave us forever.
I needed to hear that not too long ago in another non-fandom situation , so I'm sharing in case someone else does too.
