Big Gigantic’s album Brighter Future and the accompanying remix album are both spectacular, but I’m giving the mention to I’ve Gotta Know (TRAILS Remix).

The Animals’ classic House of the Rising Sun has been very good to me lately.

Afrikaner Barista by local DC group Beauty Pill is the perfect blend of go-go and... I don’t even know what to call it.

The Anthony Marinelli remix of Love Potion #9 by Herb Alpert is amazing and you should love it. (That whole remix album is chill af)

I am Bumbleby trash and you know what song I’m referring to.

I can’t decide if I love Animal by Reid Speed & Burnheart, or if I just like it as a friend. The constant style-shifts can be jarring, yet this is a jam.

Thank You Scientist’s Mr. Invisible is ungodly. Music should not be this good.

The entire first half of Esperanza Spalding’s Emily’s D+Evolution is incredible, but specific mention goes to Judas.
