Alright I know Fujin is kind of a random ass character and he’s just whatever so no one really talks about him but WE GOTTA RECOGNIZE THAT THIS DUDE IS FUCKING HANDSOME BRO

My problem with NRS

Them writing the storm bros.

Like i get it. Gods,responsiblity.

But these two always came across as THE MOST HUMAN thats why they specifically were chosen as earthrealms protectors.

So to have them not understand human emotions to a least a minor degree is really stupid to me.

Plus they've been around a long as time. For gods in general to not understand how a microwave works is ridiculous and kinda infantilizing them a bit.

Would they use one? Do they have a use for one? No. Not really. But it doesn't mean they are illiterate to the world.

Raiden and fujin specifically are watchers and observers.

Raiden while the eldar of the two,is more serious than fujin but still just as sassy and jovial as his brother. He just puts up a front. He is like an older brother. (I can tell who has siblings and who doesn't when people write them)

Fujin while the younger. Is jovial,kind,and more free flowing. Like the wind.

They are like their respective elements.

Fujin the carefree but powerful wind

Raiden the loud thunder and beautiful lightning that dances across the skies.

Raiden being the personality of cardboard hurts me. Because that is not at all how i see him.

(And this comes from a shang simp blog ok)

He can be serious without lack of understanding of emotions. He can also not be beholden by them while also acknowledging them and feeling them still.

His brother,fujin also helps raiden not be so tense. (And also the other earthrealm champions and defenders)

And raiden grounds fujin and brings him back to focus and center.

Again. This is just my personal opinions and thoughts.

Look i understand gods don't think like mortals most of the time. But also it doesn't mean they are completely alien to it.

But also again raiden and fujin of the eldar gods are THE MOST HUMAN.

They feel,the fuck up,the get impulsive,they laugh,they cry. Shit the even have souls and can die.

So when people write gods and god like characters or powerful higher power type beings. And they write them so stiff. It's boring.

Also nobody can relate to it. Thus it loses the immersion.

The one thing raiden has specifically that was in common with mortals. Is his connection to earthrealm itself. Its nature. And the energy. He feels every feeling and energy at the deepest level.

In other words. Raiden a goddamn empath.

Fujin is the same cept he never had to hide it.

Raiden was kinda forced to by the other gods.

(Oh raiden i feel that older sibling problems deeply bro)

Like bruuuuuh come on. Gimme unhinged non dark raiden.

And dark raiden,unpopular opinion. Was a cop out to replace him with fujin

Tho this in turn ended up having them both instead.

Which is good but still.

Raiden can go through his mid century crisis without becoming evil trope.

Just make sure to get him back on track.

Like this makes me wanna make content for raiden out of spite.
