The urge to play VtMB, a very good game whose story sounds great and interesting in a setting I like, versus the reality of me being a little wimp who doesn't like anything creepy or sordid or scary
#i'm stuck at the ocean house hotel#i've watched playthroughs so i know what's going to happen but the atmosphere is so scary :(((#gimble almost gave me nightmares. fucker. hate him#like that game is great! i feel like it's My Game (came out at a significant date for my life+exactly the kind of game i like+vtm setting)#but it's so scary and sordid and creepy and i keep being scared of everything and loosing the obligatory fights :(((#alas#this week when it's sunny in the afternoon i'll do the ocean house hotel. i can do it.#tonight i'm going to sleep early and reading ofmd fanfic :')#or putting ofmd on my phone and rewatching it 🤔#anyway yeah. it's so sad because i love love love the interactivity and the quests and the characters#wow i have a ramble tag now
