for any of my woman in white weekly folks, if you prefer audiobooks gildart jackson (excellent audiobook narrator) has been doing fireside reads of it on his youtube channel. the chapter count is off by one, i think he counted the little prologue as chapter 1? so for chapters 10 and 11 this week it would be chapters 11 and 12 in the videos. he greets the viewers at the beginning of each video, so if you want to fast forward he usually starts reading between 2 and 3 minutes in.

so much potential as a reality competition, betrayed by an easily-exploitable format that allowed a Pagonging to completely override the premise of rewarding players for solving mysteries

also the killer was by far the best player and they should’ve won 250k, the producers literally told them to stop solving so many riddles :sob:

also giles is an icon

des’ plan to fix Whodunnit:

instead of randomly choosing a killer at the beginning, make the runner-up the killer. there’s no foreshadowing through the series and they don’t want the killer to affect the outcome, so why not eliminate any potential interference by basing it on performance?

give the contestants free reign for investigating. then they could still choose to play a social game but fundamentally, anyone could solve the murder with the clues they have access to

work in opportunities for giles to do fun voices. i’ve listened to gildart jackson’s audiobooks and he’s great
