I just read Danny's dbd backstory for the first time and saw he was hiding out in Florida and honestly the image of Danny in a oversized Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts trying to be incognito is making me crack up.

You know, now that we've seen a glimpse of Belle and know that she's got that new yorker spirit, I'm not surprised Danny's first reaction to Bug!Ramona was "Oh fuck your mothers gonna kill me." I'm willing to think he believed that she'd do it too.

His collection of things include the more obvious things: a sorority group photo, an article about her survival, her freshman ID and hair tie. Some personal things: a bit of jewelry, one of her old cheer pompoms, the medical bracelet from her hospital stay after the massacre. And of course her used trash: old notes and homework, her bloody bandages, lipstick stained cups and tissues...

Have we ever seen Child!Ramona and Baby!Legion meet? I feel like watching Danny fumble to manage 5 children at the same time would be humorous.

Ramona would actually love baby!Legion for the most part, she's wanted younger siblings for so long since she's an only child but for some reason mommy and daddy keep saying no /: Now she gets baby brothers AND baby sisters and she's the biggest so she's in charge. Which is fine by Danny, sure, go take them somewhere and play, have fun--

But you know Frank is still gonna be jealous as hell...and so is Ramona. No, no, she's Danny's baby, Frank is just a baby in general, this is her daddy. She's happy to share (sometimes) but she's not letting Legion take him entirely.

Danny is just. So tired. So tired all the time he does not care what these kids are doing or what they want please just go away for five minutes let him breathe

I just watched some gameplay of The Unknown for the first time in a while, and after hearing the voice more clearly, I get it, I get why you are the way you are about it.

I've been looking at the slasher x final girl oc's (and I love all of them) I was wondering if you'd give us anymore details about them, their first interactions and basically any thing interesting you'd be willing to tell us?

(I'm obsessing over your characters and knowing what little I do about them is making me mentally ill, especially the stranger, he reminds me of my favorite slasher (Jason) quite a bit)

I'm so glad you're enjoying them!! It's been a while since I've used 'em so it's been fun dusting them off from time to time--

Ashley and the Stranger are meant to be a homage to 80's horror in general, both the classics and the cheesy. The first time they met was during freshmen year at a frat party, although Stranger had seen her around campus a few times prior. She was drunk, but still friendly and wanted to get to know him a bit, even warning him to be careful because frat hazings these days were getting so ridiculous and she'd hate to see him get hurt.

By the next day after she sobered up, she completely forgot about the interaction and probably didn't even bother to get his name. The fact that all records of him being a student disappeared shortly afterwards didn't help, it was like he never existed to her after that night. But he never forgot their brief time together, that pretty little cheerleader who was the only one ever concerned for him...

Constantly dying and coming back as a vengeful killer only worsens his insanity with each "sequel", including his warped obsession for her. Each time, he's more hellbent on having Ashley, convinced they're meant to be for no other reason than she was nice to him for like 10 minutes years ago. He doesn't even register her fighting back or stabbing him or setting up traps, he's so blinded by his infatuation despite Ashley having no clue that they've met before.

Francine and Ripper are newer OCs, but they're a lot of fun because my girl is just so great to torment (:< I've braindumped so much about them to Blob--

They met while Francine was working on the scripts for that latest series of a semi-popular true crime podcast about the unsolved slayings of the Northshire Ripper (about 3-4 episodes). She started getting these emails from an anonymous account that was praising her writing and storytelling, so impressed with her level of research and details and how well she wove everything together, especially the observations she made on the murders. It was genuinely her first piece of fanmail, some actual recognition for all the hard work that goes into being a weekly ghostwriter that's often overlooked. She's thankful and beyond appreciative that someone would take the time to send her a thoughtful email, how sweet! (:

And of course, eventually the segment about the Ripper ends and the show moves on to cover another killer or disappearance or solved case, and Francine is back to researching at the whims of the cohosts. Her favorite fan starts emailing her again, asking why she's stopped writing about the Ripper when there's still so much more she could cover, more things she could go in depth on. These new cases are so overdone. The podcast hosts butcher her show notes half the time anyways (she posts the full version on their blog which is the only place she has a shred of credit listed), can't she just write more episodes for the Ripper instead? Please? No?

Well...good news, little lady! You know that serial killer you covered a while back, the one who was never caught, the one who seemingly disappeared after years of bloody terror? Wouldn't ya know it, he's finally come back after a near decade hiatus, creating human art pieces with newfound inspiration! Isn't that great, now there's so much new material Francine can work with to write show updates about him, especially while it's such a hot topic in the media. Now write. What's holding you back? Is this not good enough? Do you need more inspiration of your own? More personal? A demonstrative interview?

Does danny recognize any of the licensed killers in the fog? I remember Holloween being played in the first Scream movie.

Danny isn't from the Scream series and actually predates them, so in my head it's more fun if some of the licensed killers actually did exist in his timeline and have their own sort of notoriety, especially since he's so hooked up on "legends". He's not a fanboy like Legion is to him with idol worship, it more so depends on how much respect he has for them.

He def knows about Michael and has heard about Charles Lee Ray in passing. Freddy's legend was very hush hush so he'd never come across that story outside of Springwood. The only Texan cannibal he knew about was Ed Gein, so Bubba was a bit of a surprise. Amanda was after his time and Pinhead, Xeno, Nemesis/Wesker, Pyramid Head, and Demogorgon are too far removed from his reality to know existed. Sadako is a Japanese legend, so I don't think he would have bothered.

Seeing as all the legions make mixtapes, do they force Danny to listen to them? If so who makes the best ones in his opinion.

Probably, there’s not a whole lot for anyone to do between trials most times so making mixtapes helps keep them entertained. Luckily there’s only a 3 year difference between their times and they’re both from the 90s, so there’s enough musical overlap that Danny doesn’t think all their songs are trash. But of course he’s still partial to the 70s/80s hair metal bands he enjoyed when he was their age.

Frank or Julie would be his pick, I think. They’d have a taste more aligned with his.

When it comes to the ripper I think that his original design is good enough as is, while they share some similar traits I think his vibe is different enough from the stranger's that the two are easily kept seperate.

Though if you want to do a full burn it down redesign for him, I feel like his story has the room for either a new origin for the ripper or a 'apprentice/copycat' type of killer.

In my personal opinion the rippers current design works, but I can see what you're saying about trying to switch him up.

While I did really like Ripper's original design, I think it mostly boils down to two problems I had with it overall: the hoodie and oval face mask was too similar to Stranger, and his hair/skin being exposed is a big no-no for a modern day serial killer who listens to plenty of true crime stories (about himself). And there were a lot of redesign ideas thrown out there that I also thought were really cool, but I think it helped to reel it back in based on practicality versus devoted entirely to an "artist" aesthetic.

There were some great concepts given for some designs and story elements though!! Definitely gonna pocket them for future slashers I already had brewin' in my noggin (gas/respirator mask...........). Ripper is pretty set for his story as is, although I think it could be a fun idea that something similar to his original design was his first murder outfit and this current redesign is like an upgrade of sorts. Since he's coming out of a near decade retirement and he's gotta up his game to avoid leaving extra circumstantial evidence.

Anyways! I used Blob as my sounding board per usual and I've narrowed it down to these two (: And this time I made sure to include the gloves/stains since a few people assumed he was squeaky clean lmao

How do you think Danny's horny ass would react to being in a trial with 4 megs? Also, how would he feel after getting his ass kicked by said 4 megs.

Incredible. All four survivors managed to escape the trial completely unharmed in record time. How could such a feat be possible?

How does child!ramona handle against other killers in the fog? Do they just know to let her go because danny will be a pain in the ass about it?

Or does grandma keep her with danny exclusively because he's mr. Employee of the month?

Nah, she still has to run trials just like all the other survivors, but the difference is that these survivors will absolutely risk their own lives/escape to ensure that she's the first one out no matter what. Some killers don't even bother going after her since she's just a little girl anyways, but there's just as many other ruthless ones that would have no problem slaughtering her like every other prey.

So far she's the only one with a 100% survival rate (: Hope that lasts

I know Danny likes Mandy and tolerates Legion, but are there any other killers he's chill with?

Yeah, I think there's a couple that aren't total freaks that he can hang around amicably with, like Deathslinger or Chucky. He can sit in a room and vibe with Huntress or Trapper or even Pinhead. The killers he doesn't fuck with he very clearly makes a point to not be around at all, so if he's fine with loitering in your realm then he has deemed you chill enough to not care whether or not you actually want him there.
