Obscure Far Cry Promos and Content

I'm a big far cry fan, which means I have to make my own food in this economy. But sometimes I just want some ACTUAL canon or canon-ish or even just canon-adjacent content, y'know? It has gotten to the point I go into youtube rabbit holes or watch a remarkably below average hallmark movies for 5 minutes of an actor's screentime to hopefully hear Jason or Ajay or whoever talk. And so in these quests, I've found a couple obscure promos. Gonna compile them here for myself mostly :)

Far Cry: Esperanza's Tears comic // this is a Juan-centric prequel comic that features a completely new country, lore about Far Cry universe's political landscape, and lots of cameos from 3-6's characters! very interesting read especially if you're a sucker for backstories like me

Far Cry: Rite of Passage comic // this is more popular as it features Anton telling Diego the backstories for 3-5's villains.

There is also a book titled The Official Far Cry Survival Guide written by a fictional character called Hunter Nash, who supposedly grew up with Hope County-level of a doomsday prepper dad and winds up as a journalist who travels to the locations of 3-6 and wrote how to survive each location accordingly. It's adorned with official artwork of the games and plenty of survival tips. Not much lore-wise, but cool nonetheless! it also fuels my co-workers au ideas but that's personal.

i have actually found stuff like a really old MTV show called Undressed with Gianpaolo Venuta where he uses his Jason voice for his character, and how Patrick Kwok-Choon, the new voice actor for Ajay does voice acting in Thomas the Train Engine and Paw Patrol, and an indie movie with Greg Bryk where he wears fun sunglasses like Joseph, but that's neither here nor there to the franchise, so eh. // i'll edit this post if i find more, so maybe check back sometimes!

Something to remember about Meghan is that she’s big into projecting and deflecting. A lot of the rumors we’ve heard about William, particularly regarding his temper and hotheadedness, don’t fully match up to what we see of him/his character in public…but does match up to what we know of Harry:,,,

Spot on, Rumortracking Anon, and I’ll go a step further, where you have not on your list (although I’m sure that you, as rumortracker extraordinaire, are already aware), and add some of the most egregious rumors floating around for years about Harry’s (not William’s) “red mist” anger, all ALLEGEDLY of course:

- that in the UK, H physically assaulted/beat up women to the point of bodily injury…one even allegedly to the point of permanent disability and to whom the BRF gave a massive $$$$ settlement

- that in Afghanistan, during his total 10 weeks of deployment playing video games and being protected by ghurkas (sp?), H again physically assaulted/beat up sex workers to the point of bodily injury, and that the military/BRF covered it up. (Maybe they “didn’t let him do anything” like Madame Soho House does, allegedly?)

- that in the US (both in Vegas and in San Francisco), H yet again physically assaulted/beat up women to the point of bodily injury and that, too, has been covered up.

Just an observation, but if any of this is even remotely true, H suffers from a poisonous Oedipal brew of Mummy love/Mummy hate that even Freud or Jung couldn’t disentangle, much less successfully treat. (First Mummy loved Willy best because he was her soulmate, and he looks like her, and then she had the nerve to die and leave H mummyless, thus making H sexually fantasize about her while applying her favorite Elizabeth Arden cream to his frozen (useless) todger, and then Meg came along smelling like Mummy’s fave perfume, and Meg let lil Harry “do anything he wants,” and then Mummy started speaking to Meg, and then Meg left a positive pregnancy test on the box of Mummy’s hair that sits enshrined next to the conjugal bed…). The alleged pathology boggles the mind.

(I don’t know if you want to post this…it’s raw…and all ALLEGEDLY, but if we’re going to discuss rumors about William’s alleged temper/anger, it’s only fair that the much worse Harry rumors be noted as well.)

It’s a bit funny -- I did originally have those Harry rumors in that post. I spent a good 20 minutes letting that write-up sit in my drafts because I was unsure about keeping those rumors in. Ultimately I decided to take them out because I wanted to focus the comparison specifically on the allegations and displays of anger because It’s not actually clear whether the rumors of Harry’s treatment of sex workers are based in anger or if it’s a sadistic fetish. (Apologies for the mental image.)

Honestly, it makes that one engagement with the charity that supports street sex workers (the visit of inspirational banana messaging) incredibly disgusting.

There is a fourth rumor about Harry on this matter - allegedly, when Meghan was in New York for the baby shower, Harry took company with some sex workers that scratched him...in flagrante delicto. Meghan got home, saw the scratches, asked Harry what happened, and he made up the fight with William and the dog bowl and his broken necklace so she wouldn’t find out about the cheating. 

That version is more plausible to me than 38-year-old William and 36-year-old Harry wrestling on the floor in the kitchen over a girl.

St Margaret's Chapel Stained glass windows, Edinburgh Castle today.

The smallest and the oldest surviving building in Edinburgh.

When the Castle was captured by Sir Thomas Randolph in 1314 on behalf of King Robert, it was the only part of the Castle spared destruction.

It contains five stained glass windows by Douglas Strachan, depicting St Margaret, St Andrew, St Columba, St Ninian and William Wallace, these are a modern addition and in my opinion add a lot to the building.

St Margaret's Chapel may not hold any real religious purpose nowadays, but I have been in The Castle when a wedding took place and the piper playing that day was a Ghurka.

shimmery blush on the apple of the cheeks and lining the lower lash line, simple gold eyeshadow on the center of the eye lid, dark eyeshadow around the inner and outer corners just to add depth, pale orange lip gloss. Slight orange eyeshadow/blush on the temples. Slight orange and glittery blush on cleavage and knuckles.

I wish I had all these pieces. Or could afford making or bespoking them.

I should put something together in photoshop.

The pain about having specific taste is often things I want cost either $500+ or don’t exist.

Bei aller Höflichkeit, von den Kolonien bis Pogo, schon ein wildes, rauhes Völkchen sind sie. Was daran zur Brutalität ausschlägt, dem scheint in Westminster diese kleine Straße gewidmet. Hier weht immer Märzwind, hier ist es immer überraschend kalt, auch wenn der Rest des Landes erwartungsgemäß kalt ist. Hier fällt die Temperatur immer ab, und sei es die des Blutes. Hier ist den Monty Pythons nicht der Witz von der Bank eingefallen, die pötzlich lossegelt und deren Angestellte ebenso plötzlich die Enterhaken herausholen und den maßgeschneiderten Anzug gegen die Piratenkluft tauschen. Aber hier hätte ihnen der Witz einfallen können. Das ist die leicht gekrümmte Horse Guards Avenue, hier liegt das Old War Office Building und das Verteidigungsministerium, hier steht die Figur des Ghurka Soldaten und des Duke of Devonshire, alles Leute, mit denen ich mich nicht anlegen würde (auch bei Andrew Cavendish würde ich es mir lieber drei Mal überlegen). Ist die Straße nicht zu kurz und zu schmal für eine Avenue, fehlen nicht die Bäume? Die Pracht oder der Prunk, die eine Avenue auszeichnen sollen, ergeben sich hier aus dem Schauer, den die Straße miterzeugt, so, als ob es eine Nebenwirkung wäre. Die Avenue kommt an, ihr Begriff leitet sich vom Advent ab, hier kommt durchaus etwas Messianisches an, wenn auch nur als jüngstes Gericht. Das ist wohl vor allem der Architektur des ministry of defence geschuldet, aber alles andere an dieser Straße wendet sich auch nicht dagegen, arbeitet und läuft mit der Drohgebärde dieses Gebäudes mit. So ein Gebäude füttert die Fantasien der Zeichner von Gotham City.

Season 1.2

In the labyrinth of threads and fabrics that wove through my week at my Bespoke Tailoring House, the symphony of Petrol Bliss played a backdrop to my days, echoing the most profound lyrics, « never taking victories for granted, when everything went just the way you planned it. Another sartorial journey unfolded, starting with the criminally underrated dance of a green and tan outfit on day one.

My canvas: a moss green and white striped shirt clung to my frame, along side a pair of olive green ghurka trousers with pleats, coupled with a tan cotton double-breasted blazer. My outfit flirted with the cool kid august summer breeze. A pair of tan espadrilles loafers completed rhythm as I danced through the day.

Enter day three, where conservatism met craftsmanship. A navy linen unstructured suit draped my silhouette, accompanied by a navy blue and light brown striped shirt I made some months ago. The stripes have become a newfound fascination. A reel captured the essence of the day. Sharing a sneak peek into next week's content lineup.

Day there also featured a silver e34 as my chariot for my afternoon rounds, helping me weave through Accra’s lighter than usual traffic with the grace of a bespoke creation. The scent of BMW leather and the hum of the straight-six engine serenaded my journey to a client’s airport hills residence, where accents of tan and dark brown enveloped a tastefully assembled abode. A successful meeting ensued with three a commitment for 5 bespoke suits.

Day four began with a rooftop yoga session, meditative reflections, and the creation of a badass blue safari jacket. My Polo workshirt designs flirted with some of my pre-existing boundaries. Im refusing to be boxed in by basic structures. Lunch unfolded in a plant filled courtyard with my latest literary companion and the sound of soft jazz as I looked up at the clouds passing through the afternoon sky.

As day five unfolded, the entire company donned finery for a timeless portrait outside our offices. I wore soft blue Solaro 3 pc suit, a white shirt, and a light brown tie, with brown shoes injecting a dash of flair. Post-shoot, the e34 transported me to a rendezvous with my lady.

In Ada, away from the hustle of Accra, the waterfront became our haven. A deck embraced us with palm trees, a sailboat, and the vast expanse of an open sky. Cheese, wine, and a cigar set the stage for an evening, transitioning to a sunroom with pasta and salmon. The hammock cradled us as a message buzzed—an impeccable execution of our newest bomber jacket.
