Eu geralmente uso o Writing Prompt Generator, porque tem vários gêneros no banco de dados, vejo a saída e se ela me dar alguma luz, eu sigo com ela. Também tem o Quick Plot Generator, que você vai gerando as combinações de cenário, personagem um e dois, até encontrar alguma que te agrade.

Meus favoritos são o Incorrect Quotes Generator e o Random First Line of Dialogue, que gera a primeira linha de um diálogo. O processo para ambos é o mesmo, vou gerando linhas e pensando que diálogo ou relação pode ter dado origem a essa frase. Vou dar um exemplo.

O gerador de primeira linha me deu a frase "If we both stick to the story, they can't prove anything." / Se nós dois seguirmos a história, eles não poderão provar nada. Essa frase me dá as seguintes ideias:

Duas pessoas que cometeram um crime estão fugindo da polícia.

Dois estudantes que colaram na prova.

Duas pessoas que estão cometendo adultério.

Pessoas que roubaram a última fatia de bolo de alguém e não querem ser descobertos.

Alguma relação que envolva uma pessoa totalmente despreocupada com as consequências de seus atos e alguém que fica overthinking.

8.) Movies or tv shows?

I prefer TV shows to movies, mostly because I can binge watch them easily and have them playing as background noise. Occassionally I'll do that with movies too--especially Studio Ghibli ones 💖 I've lost track of how many times I've seen the Planet Earth series or other BBC nature documentaries. Abstract-Art of Design is another favorite, as is High Score, the CNN docu-series on the different decades/culture. Project Runway is another thing I like having on in the background. Sometimes it's nice having something I've seen before so I can multi-task with it.

23.) Strange habits?

I don't know if it's strange, per-se but definitely compulsively checking to see if I've locked the door/shut the windows--ect. I'm forgetful enough that it can't hurt to check more than once. Or just talking to the dog when I'm home alone--not a huge fan of dead silence, and it's not like he minds/seems to enjoy the attention so 🤷‍♀️

55.) Favorite fairy tale?

I was admittedly less into them when I was younger than I am now, but I always enjoyed Mulan. I think I was more into the mythology stuff than actual fairy tales/had a minor obsession with the Greek/Roman gods. I had a big book of what were basically 'kid-friendly' greek myths and I completely blame that--as well as a dad who encouraged the mythology/history fixation.

67.) Good luck charms?

I don't have any good luck charms per-se, but I definitely have stuff I try not to leave the house without, especially if I know I'm going to be gone all day--sketchbook/pencils/lead, my phone, sometimes my switch if I'm going to be waiting anywhere. Headphones are an absolute necessity. If I'm anywhere on campus, I'll usually have my laptop too. I just like feeling prepared 😜

98.) Favorite historical era?

That's a really mean question 😂 I cannot pick just one, so obviously Medieval Europe is a favorite (not surprising, considering it's the focus of my major--that and manuscripts), but that's a fairly broad answer. Victorian England, and the US in the 1920s are also really interesting! I'll try to be concise and cut myself off here or I'll never stop rambling.

Sobre o anon da starter call no twitter. Eu não acho que funcione tendo em conta os poucos caracteres. Claro que existem ações pequenas que podem ser inseridas. Eu também acho que dá uma poluída na timeline você ter tweets normais e aí uma ação do nada. Na minha cabeça o Tumblr de um personagem é como um livro, tem pouco da personalidade do boneco por ele mesmo. É como se você, player, indiretamente narrasse o que acontece. O twitter é a rede social do personagem, a imersão é diferente na timeline. Eu fui only Tumblr por anos e quando entrei para o twitter, o que eu notei é que são dois mundos diferentes. Cheguei a colocar starter call em fleets, pequenos prompts para desenvolver como comprar café ou algo assim com a pessoa e pouca gente se interessou. A realidade é que hoje em dia os players interpretativos que gostam de turnar qualquer coisa que não seja smut estão cada vez mais escassos. Se é difícil a gente conseguir resposta em plot call, fechar cnn ou plot, acho que a starter call vai acabar seguindo esse caminho. É essa minha opinião, Ghibli out!!

Chegamos a conversar um pouco sobre os pontos levantados por você e vou citar a opinião dos outros deuses. Artemis disse: "Eu não acho que [colocar ações na timeline] polui. Isso porque eu era do indierp e basicamente o perfil inteiro tava sujeito a se tornar uma ação, porque você jogava um tweet e qualquer um poderia responder e desenvolver uma interação maior ali dentro. Mas isso é opinião minha. Novamente, eu acho que as pessoas que se limitam. No meu caso, twitter como rede social não funciona pra mim. Delimita muito o que eu queria mostrar sobre o meu personagem."

Hades e Ares, por outro lado, concordam mais com você. E a primavera elaborou esse ponto: "No modo rede social que adotam nas comunidades, eu meio que concordo que não daria jeito por misturar demais e tal." No meu caso, acho que acompanho a Persephone nesse pensamento, apesar de não ver problema com narrações na timeline quando estou jogando no estilo indie. Mesmo assim, ainda consigo pensar na inclusão das starter calls como algo positivo para as comunidades do Twitter, contanto que os turnos fossem levados para o privado ao invés de ficarem expostos na timeline. Então, seria algo como "dê um like para ganhar um turno/starter na DM", oferecendo cenários específicos ou não. Não seria muito mais interessante do que uma plot call que quase sempre leva a lugar nenhum? Essas interações despretensiosas são ótimos experimentos para testar a química dos personagens antes de decidir conexões, ao meu ver!

Mas como você disse que tentou algo assim e não houve muito interesse dos escritores, e eu não sabendo quando isso aconteceu, venho te lembrar que qualquer oferta de desenvolvimento tem dando muito errado esses tempos. Não acho que o problema são as starter calls e os prompts nos fleets em si — quais considero apenas ferramentas que facilitam plots —, mas sim boa parte dos jogadores mesmo, que estão com preguiça de turnar e de explorar conexões. É até por isso, também, que penso que adotar as starter calls seria uma boa influência nos hábitos dos jogadores de comunidades. Já que ninguém quer trabalhar aquelas coisas profundas e complexas, talvez devêssemos dar alguns passos atrás e incentivá-los a cultivar o interesse por essas trocas menores — que não são super planejadas, apenas acontecem — e aos poucos ir os puxando em direção a coisas mais densas, conforme os parceiros de plot se sentissem mais confortáveis uns com os outros.

Ainda assim, a parte de "os players interpretativos que gostam de turnar qualquer coisa que não seja smut estão cada vez mais escassos" é um grande fato, e talvez até as minhas considerações estejam sendo utópicas demais para a tag que temos agora...

Provavelmente são, mas um deus pode sonhar.

Idk if this counts but, baking and crafting have been really good at keeping my stress level down. I’ve basically been living on Pinterest lol

Oi Deuses, espero que estejam bem. Ghibli sumida, mas voltando das cinzas para ter um papo de gente grande com o pessoal que manda ask aqui, uma coisa que eu levei para vida. A gente sempre ouve gente falando para insistirmos em algo, mesmo que isso não te faz bem. E as coisas não são bem assim. Se uma comunidade, uma moderação ou sei lá o que tá te fazendo mal e você não curte o ambiente, sai dele. Estive em comunidades que estão ativas na tag atualmente, mas não vou nomear aqui. Eu não concordei com posicionamentos da moderação, também não gostei do ambiente e não gostei do jogo. Fui lá e saí. Alguns casos, meus amigos foram junto comigo e outros, não. Eu saí da tag porque eu não gosto de plots rasos e muito menos de interpretação malfeita. O pessoal da tag não se interessa em desenvolver as coisas, tudo é deixar em HC, tudo é festinha com bebida e sexo, não se atentar a cultura do país onde o plot está inserido, só para pontuar algumas das minhas frustrações até agora. Isso sem falar em todo o lance de misturar IC com OOC, os bans do Twitter, o meu ranço com o MeWe e o doutorado que chegou em uma fase que requer a minha dedicação total.

Não façam daqui seu único propósito de vida. Estamos aqui para uma coisa: se divertir e relaxar. O que cada um faz com o próprio tempo não é da minha conta, mas pensa o quanto de tempo você gasta no krp. Isso é um hobby ou é a sua vida? Confesso que desapeguei um pouco quando eu vi que passava mais raiva com a tag do que com o meu doutorado, que muita coisa atrasou porque dediquei tempo demais aos meus personagens.

Não preciso adicionar mais qualquer comentário ao que tu disse porque são todas as coisas que não só eu, mas também os meus companheiros de trabalho concordamos. E, claro, também são os vários motivos pelos quais não temos mais energia de aplicar (e durar) em qualquer comunidade que eventualmente acabe acendendo uma fagulha de interesse nossa.

A forma como maior parte da tag tem se comportado influencia demais na nossa disposição para criar um personagem, porque ninguém quer criar algo complexo e não conseguir desenvolver porque 85% da comunidade deixa tudo em HC e procura várias formas de ter cnn de foda. Não temos mais energia nem idade para dedicar a coisas assim, então a melhor opção foi pedir as contas e nos aposentarmos.

Nós também estamos cansados e entendemos a desistência dos bons jogadores acerca das comunidades. É triste ver como a ideia de role-playing se perdeu...
