Thought for the day: Which TV shows do you think Tori would enjoy?
Hmm... Okay, I think she would like these
- She'd love Fleabag
- I'm Not Okay With This
- The Queens Gambit
- Everything Now
- Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (her and Becky would have watched this (Becky would have made her) and afterwards Becky would start talking about how much she loves Michael Cera)
- Young Royals (Michael would make her watch it and they would both cry)
- The End of the F***ing World (would binge this in a night)
- Black Mirror (would watch one episode of this about once a month or just really sporadically)
- Moon Knight (I feel like she wouldn't watch a lot of Superhero things and would generally not like Marvel because of how they've changed and a lot of the movies now are just an overload of CGI instead of focusing on the quality of plot, but Nick would have been trying to convince Charlie to watch something Marvel and Tori would have just been there in the room and sort of felt bad, so then when he would have suggested Moon Knight she would have watched it with him and actually really like it)
- I also can imagine Tori, Michael, Charlie and Nick all sitting together in Autumn and watching Gilmore Girls and making fun of it and just making jokes about it and just generally not taking it seriously.
- Nick and Charlie would make her watch Good Omens and consider it a crime that she hasn't watched it yet
I can't really imagine her liking many TV shows to be honest. I feel like she would either just watch a lot of really short shows that she could either binge in a night or a week, or stupidly long ones that just go on forever. I feel like she wouldn't be properly watching the really long ones, and just have it in the background of things or just watch it with Charlie as just another background noise.

What songs do you think Tori Spring would listen to?
Definitely a lot of Radiohead (particularly No Surprises, Let Down, How To Disappear Completely, Fake Plastic Trees, Jigsaw Falling Into Place and Street Spirit (Fade out)) and I feel like she would relate and love a lot of Mitski songs, though she wouldn't know that many considering she prefers to listen to individual songs rather than whole artists. I feel like she would listen to THE LONELIEST by Måneskin at 2am and would have Quiet, The Winter Harbor by Mazzy Star on one of her playlists too haha.
And here are some other ones: Between the Bars by Elliott Smith, I Deserve to Bleed by Sushi Soucy, Telescope by Cage the Elephant, Miss Misery by Elliott Smith, Andromeda by Weyes Blood, A Different Age by Current Joys, Where Is My Mind by the Pixies, Ramona by Beck from Scott Pilgrim, Ghosting by Mother Mother (to be honest I think Tori would like a lot of Mother Mother songs), The Record Player Song by Daisy the Great, Northern Attitude (with Hozier) by Noah Kahan and Hozier, Kids by Current Joys, Tired by Beabadoobee and Clay Pigeons by Michael Cera. There are a lot more to be honest, but I could go on forever

hiiiiiiiiiiiiii
how are you going - hoping its slightly better than its been recently - random question but ive been trying to find some movies or tv shows to watch that are not the same 7 that ive seen like 50 million times - could you mayybe give me some media recs?? idk you seem like you have taste??
sorry to bother you though :)
Hey,
I'm overwhelmed rn but I'll sort it out soon and thank you - how are you?
Yeah okay, sure and thank you though I'm not so sure about how true that is, and you don't need to apologise for bothering me, you really aren't :)
(also I'm not quite sure what you're into but I'll try and make it as varied as I can - though most of them will probably be depressing in some way, so a little heads up for that I guess)
For TV shows:
FLEABAG!! - I honestly love this show so much though content warnings for some nudity, swearing, sex (not extremely explicit but still)
YOUNG ROYALS - I will never get over this, it's honestly amazing
I am not okay with this - a great short show to binge and then be pissed off with Netflix for cancelling it
Normal People (same content warnings as fleabag tbh)
The Queen's Gambit - (content warnings for drugs, death, and there are probably a few more but I haven't watched the show in a while sorry)
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off - it's so much better than the film
The Sandman - (content warnings for some nudity, violence)
Umbrella Academy
Shadow and bone - the books are better but still
As for the films:
Nimona
Nightmare Before Christmas
Corpse Bride
Princess Monoke
The Half of It
Bottoms
Aftersun
Spiderman Into the Spiderverse
Spiderman Across the Spiderverse
Submarine
I hope that helps @justquietcorners and I would love to hear if you have any recs too

hi 🐈‍⬛
do u read books and if so, what r ur favourites?
Hey 🐈‍⬛
I definitely do read (I would ask you the same but I know you do hehe) but right now I'm a bit slow with reading due to school exams (kill me now pls I don't wanna do them)
I really love these ones - also I'm very indecisive so here's a list of some, there are probably others but I can't remember them
(in no particular order):
Solitaire (obviously and one of my comfort books)
Radio Silence (tbh any Alice Oseman Book but Solitaire and Radio Silence are very special to me)
The Picture of Dorian Gray
If We Were Villains
SOC duology
the Ninth House Duology (If you couldn't tell I love Leigh Bardugo)
The Perks of Being A Wallflower (my other comfort book)
The Song of Achilles
All That's Left of the World
The Secret History
Metamorphosis
What are your favourites??
Also I would love some recommendations if you are happy to give them :)

Do you have any song recommendations? I am running out of music to listen to and I trust your judgement.
You have no idea how much this means to me haha and yeah I do, but I don't really know what you're looking for, so here's some sort of a variety:
(Disclaimer: the descriptions of the songs are just my opinions and I'm not trying to force them upon anyone, or anything like that).
THE LONELIEST by Måneskin - Great whilst wallowing in feelings of loneliness and self-pity but it's like you're screaming into the void about it. (Genres according to google: pop rock, alternative rock, glam rock)
There She Goes by The La's - Autumn/fall vibes and just reminds me of the colour orange for some inexplicable reason. (Genres according to google: indie pop, brit pop, alternative rock)
Not really a song, but Duster is a great band for just staring into the abyss at 3am and disassociating. (Genres according to google: slowcore, indie rock, lo-fi, space rock revival)
Again not really a song, but Radiohead's OK Computer album is just amazing and definitely worth listening too if you haven't already, and to be honest Radiohead is just a great band in general. (Genres according to google: alternative, rock, indie)
Summer Child by Conan Gray - To me it is the equivalent of someone finally paying attention to you because they genuinely care, and then they give you a hug and comfort you whilst you just cry into their arms. (Genres according to google: indie, bedroom pop, acoustic pop)
No Sound But The Wind by Editors (specifically the 2019 deluxe album one) - Feels like if the depths of complete and utter melancholy was a song. (Genres according to google: post-punk revival - not completely accurate because it was originally for a different version of the song)
Fade into you by Mazzy Star - Feels like you're slow dancing in the rain whilst the world slips away slowly. (Genres according to google: slowcore, dream pop)
July by Sir Chloe - Eeminds me of a monologue that someone is just yelling into the empty sky and is just a freeing song for me I guess (Genre according to google: indie pop)
Where is my mind by Pixies - I don't know how to describe it but it's such a good song and reminds me of a pandemonium in slow motion. (Genres according to google: rock, permanent wave, alternative rock)
Rock 'n' Roll Suicide by David Bowie and any song from him really, especially the songs from The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders from Mars album - great to just lose yourself to and forget about the world. (Genres according to google: rock, permanent wave, glam rock, classic rock)
Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division - "Let's dance to Joy Division and celebrate the irony" (lyric from Let's dance to Joy Division by the Wombats) just sums it up to be honest. (Genres according to google: rock, punk, post-punk, new wave, gothic rock, alternative rock)
Not a song, but Mother Mother are really good to listen to but sort of indescribable, sorry. (Genres according to google: indie rock, alternative rock)
@far-beyond-saving I hope this was helpful haha and sorry if it was too much or not what you were looking for. Please let me know if you want any more. Also do you have any recommendations? I am also in need of new music to listen to, and I also trust your judgement. :)
