Based on what I’ve come to call the “Wisecracking Jekyll” from the “League of Extraordinary Gentlememes” Facebook page. It’s my favorite meme template from said page, as Jason Flemyng’s Dr. Jekyll is my favorite LoXG character. Probably not my best work, but something I had to try at least once- Groovie Goolies’ Doctor in Flemyng Doctor’s tuxedo. You won’t believe how hard it was to transport Flemyng Jekyll’s facial expression onto GG Jekyll, due to the eyebrow and physical age difference. Is it weird that Hyde actually pulls it off better than Jekyll? I like how Heidi Siek, their niece, actually looks like a teen in this one. In her debut pic, she looks a bit too young in my opinion. Also, this is one of the only pics I perfectly captured Jekyll’s eyes. In most drawings his pupils are too small/the colored pencil was too dull, making them cloudier than I’d have liked them. Here, they’re the perfect shade of brown. Lastly, The Doctor’s wearing the same green stethoscope and red headlamp from yesterday, except here, Jekyll’s stethoscope has white stripes like a candy cane!

i think they’d get along pretty well, especially if we’re talking about Gothic Gang era of your Edward! they’re both pretty goofy, so I think they’d click pretty well. Especially since they’ve got a decent amount in common :)

your Edward is sweeter and more endearing, though. Modmay Edward is more obnoxious than anything :P

This is something I had an idea for, it’s mostly a writing warm-up since I haven’t properly written anything in a while. Heads up for alcoholism and mentions of abuse and suicide. 

Edward opened his eyes to find himself back in the mirror of Henry’s room. Henry himself was pouring a glass of wine, but he noticed how there was already a residue at the bottom. Just how long was he out? “You’ve been out for-” Henry hiccuped, “an hour Edward.” Oh no. “How much have you had, Henry?” he asked shakily. Henry sighed. “A few.” Edward grimaced. He had never wanted to know what Henry was like while drunk, but aside from hiccuping, he seemed relatively like himself. “Look, Doc. I-i’m sorry about being mad at you, I mean, I know now that-” Henry shushed him while holding out a finger, albeit not in Edward’s direction. He took a swift drink. “I know you’re sorry, that’s oki-doki, I forgive you.” 

Henry, wine bottle and wine glass in hand, kicked open the door to the balcony, a place Henry never in all of Edward’s years had seen him do. Edward hovered after him, but kept a distance. “You know something Edward? I haven’t been here in a LONG time, you know what happened here about twenty years ago? The only boy I ever loved left me here.”

“Huh?”

“I never- hic- told you about him. It’s too painful to think about him. But now that I feel numb and all, I can talk about him.” Henry poured himself another glass. “Liam Carew used to live,” he carried out the word ‘live’ as he tried finding his old house, “right there. We were neighbors, a classic love story! The boy falls for the girl next door, or in this case boy next door. And I fell in love with him. I never told anyone, especially not my mum, no she would beat the shit out of me if she knew.” The man solemnly refilled his wine glass and took another drink. Edward’s eyes widened as a devastating pit in his stomach grew. “What happened with Liam?”

Henry grit his teeth as he sighed. “Just as our senior year ended, his parents wanted him to get married to this socialite, P-paige Stride, something like that, and he didn’t like that, I mean I don’t blame him, I wouldn’t wanna marry some girl I didn’t know! But he had the bright idea to run away.” Henry took another long drink. “And he wanted me,” he began to laugh, “he wanted me to run away with him! That sounds perfect, the boy of my dreams wants me to be with him! God I’m an idiot for- I’m an idiot.” He filled his glass again. 

“I told him no, and he got really mad at me. I turned away, but then I realized I did want to go. I grabbed all my things, and when I got back to the balcony, he was gone. I saw him flying on his broomstick, high up in the sky.” Edward furrowed his eyebrows. Why would this Liam dude be on a broomstick? “I called out his name, I tried getting his attention, I screamed until my voice gave out, and he never looked back. I don’t know if- hic- he was just ignoring me or if he couldn’t hear me, but what I do know is that I’ve never seen him since! But I’ve heard his voice, I’ve heard him calling back to me. It’s a bit- hic- late for that, I think.” He finished his glass, and to Edward’s relief, he didn’t refill it.

“But that’s not why I haven’t been here in a while- hic- Eddy. I last came out here five years ago, not long after Edwin’s passing. I stood here a little too long and I almost stood on the railing, like some sort of- hic performer, and I considered jumping off. I wanted to stop feeling all this sadness in my life, it felt like nothing ever good stayed.” Edward didn’t want to hear this anymore, his whole body was tense with worry. “And now I know that’s-that’s true,” he slurred as he started to refill his glass. “STOP IT!” Edward screamed, taking control of the arms and throwing the wine bottle and glass off the balcony. 

“What was that- hic- that for?!” Henry complained. “THAT GARBAGE IS ONLY MAKING YOU FEEL WORSE!” Before Henry could speak, Edward took control of the legs and forced Henry out of his room. He shut the door. “Eat some cookies, drink water, take ibuprofen, take a piss, and then go to sleep. I am throwing out your wine if you don’t do this, okay?!” Henry’s face fell, and he sheepishly nodded. Edward gave him back full control, and kept a close eye on him for the rest of the night, making a note to himself to throw out half of his wine regardless.

WAIT I HAD AN IDEA!!!! The gang goes roller skating!!!!

"AAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!" Edward screeched as he slid across the roller skating rink. Dorian cackled before grabbing his overalls. "Slow down, Ed," he snorted while the puppet scowled. "I was trying to," he huffed, "but, uh, it's too slippery." The blonde rolled his eyes before he helped Edward skate properly. Meanwhile, Victor held Adam’s hand tightly. "You're not going to fall, Adam, I've got your hand," he said, attempting at a reassuring smile. "You look sick," Adam bluntly said. Victor's smile fell. "S-sorry."

"It's fine, I'm not the best at smiling," Victor said plainly, "But! I am the best at roller skating!" Still holding their hand, Victor started skating quickly, scaring Adam briefly. "Oh you think you're fast?" Victor turned to see Griffin, who was holding Erik above his head while skating faster than Victor. "What the f- er, hell?! That's dangerous!"

"And fun!" Erik whooped, flapping his arms like wings. Griffin laughed proudly, the eye-lights of his goggles indicating that his eyes were closed. Adam shook his head disappointedly. "Sir put that, um, person down," an employee shouted. "Do not worry, worker! I am perfectly fine!" Erik called out. The employee sighed and returned to the snack bar, mumbling something about hating Tuesdays.
