Heute die Bach-Nelkenwurz (Geum rivale) oder auch Kaminfegerchen - eine wintergrüne krautige Pflanze kommt in ganz Europa vor, ausser im Mittelmeerraum. Dieser Wurz blüht von April bis Juli. Ich fand sie im Garten hinterm Haus der Eltern. Glebe Blüten reckten sich der Linse entgegen und wollten aufgenommen werden. Die Wurzel wird als natürliches Heilmittel verwendet. Sie wirkt unter anderem antibakteriell, schweißtreibend, entzündungshemmend und zusammenziehend und wird bei Magen und Darmerkrankungen und fieberhaften Infekten eingesetzt. Für die antibakterielle Wirkung sind Triterpene und Flavonoide verantwortlich. Kommt gut in den Abend und noch besser durch die Nacht und in den Morgen!
