watching old pll vids and i dont think i recovered from the trauma i received as a young lesbian watching maya get killed off and emily breaking down with the most utterly heartbreaking scene </3
#literally i was just coming getting into my questioning phase and this particular event held so much pain hurt and devestation#i didnt know why it had impacted me so much until a couple years later where i was finally coming to terms with my sexuality#and up until that point all i was seeing in media was gays getting killed off being cheated u know the whole tragedy thing#and this is why positive wlw representation matters#and im so tired of having to fight so hard wheether that be getting a show saved from cancellation getting a show pas its first season#getting poper promotion getting proper treatment etc etc#i think bly manor was the only wlw centric show that got justice through storytelling acting and overall masterpiece of it#^^^ fhe only one i can think of anyways#but like thoi crush wn which are all wlw centric shows get shitty promotions thus being called a 'flop' like no its not#its just hasnt been given the right opportunities treatment and recognition it deserves#and dont even get me started on having to just project queer coding onto certain chars/non canon ships#cause its the best/closest thing to ''representation'' jgnjf#anyways rant over i just want my gay lil shows pls#txt*
