going through my drafts and figured i’d let this snippet see daylight (dashboard light? … paradise by the dashboard light??)

Violet smiles at me, before she grabs one of the waters from the table and takes a sip. She's close enough that I can see beads of sweat gathered along her hairline, and I watch as one drop traces down the side of her neck.  I have to take another sip of my beer to stop myself from leaning over and tracing that same path with my tongue.  Get a fucking hold of yourself.
