"Affirm: I am not going to rush anything or worry about how things will work out for me. Instead of overthinking, I will align my faith with divine timing and divine intelligence. I trust that everything good that belongs in my life is on its way to me now."

“All that glitters" - Getahun Assefa Balcha
The contrasting colors of the more monochromatic figures and the vibrant background of the gold and red make this image stand out to me. the diagonal movement of the bow arrows all pointing to a focal point also help to make this picture exciting. I draw inspiration from the mix of abstract space and realistic figures.

“Coffee Cup" - Getahun Assefa Balcha
Today we had the artist Fitsum Shebeshe visit out school and talk to us about the art he had painted himself, and curated in shows. Coffee Cup by Getahun Assefa Balcha was one of the pictures he curated in a show. This piece stood out to me because of the bold contrast of vibrant color surrounding the figure and the dull color of the figure. I find this picture inspirational for the harmonic mix of the two aspects.
