#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH#i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing#this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only#know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that#make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3#the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design#so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery#i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess#my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty#originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY#but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw#my art#myart#hatsune miku#miku worldwide#philippines#vocaloid#miku

my mbti type is isxj - i've taken the 16personalities mbti test a few times over the years and i used to always be istj but the last time i took it i was an isfj! and looking at the spectrum of introversion vs. extraversion, sensing vs. intuition, etc., i was right in the middle for feeling vs. judgement and close to the extreme ends for the other three. that's why i'll classify myself as an isxj.
and i definitely agree with my mbti type! i'm very much someone who needs time alone to recharge, values loyalty, diligence, and kindness A LOT, keeps an organized and orderly environment, and has a very systematic method for approaching tasks - literally yesterday i took some time to plan out my study schedule for my upcoming exam in may writing out how many practice questions i want to do each day, what book chapters i'm reading each day, and what days i want to do practice tests and when i want to do each one!

52. favorite font?
Courier New! It's pretty and looks like a manuscript. I use it on all the drafts for the fics and even my papers in school. Surprisingly it's an academic font and is on par with Times New Roman, the treat in that is it is slightly wider even if the same font size, so you can get away with writing less if it's by page ;] (if ur teacher lets you use it)
92. lamps, overhead lights, sunlight or fairy lights?
Sunlight and fairy lights. I don't like overly bright or fluorescent lights, I have astigmatism and it can hurt but keeping things completely dim when I'm on the computer isn't good for me. Plus they are cuter and I can get custom ones, I currently have mushrooms ones :p
98. favorite historical era?
I think I like the roaring 20s but specifically the Harlem Renaissance! I love the music, the art, and the style. I wouldn't go back for obvious reasons but I appreciate it and the importance it holds in art/general human history.
I want clap lights for my room one day, maybe I'll theme them after the Harlem Reniassance.
