sometimes i am tempted to get into queer discourse on main but i abstain. shut my mouth and keep my goddamn peace <3
#it all ties back into this overall thesis i have#sociological concepts and theory and terminology#get thrown around sooo much in the year of our lord 2024#and when i studied and got my degree in socio it was considered the MOST IMPORTANT#to have discourse#irl proper sitting in a classroom discourse that is not hostile but approaching theory and real life situations and constructs openly#genuinely the most helpful part of study#because it breaks down nuance shows you new lenses and builds on your knowledge#and the fact socio theory gets boiled down to buzzwords and reactionary think pieces#which cannot be evaluated with nuance#bc that is not how social media works in 2024#is incredibly detrimental to overall understanding of these concepts#and like#understanding of each other!!!!!#therefore i will not try to be nuanced on main#ill talk about jy backshots or something#lore loops
