Ahh... When he was a young boy, by vampire standards, about 30 years old I'd say ? And he was ripped out of everything he ever knew to be shipped to his father's house. Taken out of his home and lead to a boat, with only a few clothes and a letter in hand, to meet a man he did not know and couldn't be sure would be nice to him.

The fact that Aster of Neregny was an asshole to him didn't help.

This was done out of his mother's need to protect him and stop him from becoming like her (trained assassin from birth), but it kind of backfired considering he's now a... loose cannon who will just kill people because he can. With a lot of issues.
