#star ocean 2#can PERSONALLY confirm that ALL of these are true#i played the HELL out of the original and PSP versions of this game#and there is more nuttiness this doesn't even cover#like that those books?#you can sell them to a publisher and make insane amounts of money just by periodically collecting the royalties#it's such a good game you guys it's so good#get more out of life! play an old unhinged jrpg!#q#you can also counterfeit an item that lets you own the inns and rest for free#playing a whole-ass orchestra in the menu ups your crafting success#there's an iron chef minigame#you can use a camera to duplicate any consumable item in your inventory#there's these things called private actions that let you pair characters off for various endings#they range from really sad to whacked out hilarious#there's a dude with a two headed dragon fused to his back#two three-eyed aliens#god and i'm probably forgetting shit#it's SO delightfully weird y'all#the first star ocean is really really good too#(i did not like three though and haven't played anything past that)
