Last night I dreampt that sse implemented pony saddlebag pets into the game but they were so malformed and mutated in an attempt to make them small and cutesy that no one bought them. They had to be raffled out randomly because no one would take them by choice, and ppl would walk 10ft around anyone that was unlucky enough to have one as if being near someone with the accursed teacup pony would spread it to them like a disease.

Because Diana is now alone (I call her Dianne on this new life, but to not get confused ill call her Diana, and Athy will still be Athanasia even tho shes totally gonna get a new name), she goes off trying to survive on her own. She goes by being a dancer and MAYBEmaybemaybe being sorta like a hitman/info scouter from an organization (at first I was thinking of the organization that was basically dilucs saving grace when he was out and about, but decided against it).

In all this time Diana doesn't remember anything, but only gets little glimpses of things from her past in her dreams. Is never much, so she always discards them as dreams.

ONTO MY DEAR KAEYA NOW

Initially, Kaeya was supposed banished from Mond after it got out he was """"a plant by khaenriah"""" in the whole mess after whatever genshin main story end is supposed to be(that man is gonna die, he has all the death flags) and tbh i don't know if I should change it, but we will take the part of "getting banished bc the secret got out".

By this time Diluc and Kaeya were in a very romantic relationship and when this whole drama happens diluc, in a very very VERY OOC way just doesn't help kaeya or whatever the fuck (I think it was something to do with how I imagined it with it being at the end of genshin [this Au came to existence bc I got mad at diluc in a fic okay? kaeya deserved so much better than him in that fic jfc]) and kaeya is left to his luck.

He begins traveling, he doesn't really settles anywhere because trauma and just wanders and goes by with commissions from the adventurers guild. He's also in some very sketchy business, protecting people for like the black market or some shit *shrugs*

The meeting

note: Kaeya is bi and Diana pan (really wishing this stays consistent in my mind)

Diana and Kaeya meet up one time Kaeya is doing a comm in fontaine. The person who made the comm wanted hire Diana so she danced in some ""party"" the person had organized. Kaeya is just there thinking everything is kinda fishy so he decides to also go to the party and make sure everything is okay.

TL;DR: Everything was just a cover up to get Diana as a slave and sell her along with other people/dancers that have been kidnapped.

Kaeya is the one to start shit up and when he manages to get to where they keep the people they kidnapped he sees Diana helping the other victims stand up and getting the ropes that had their hands and legs tied. Immediately he gets to work and helps everyone out with Diana, and then he tells her to get out too, she looks at him strangely but also says that if he's staying she will too. Kaeya tells her that if he stays he could buy more time so the other kidnapees, he knows she can defend herself, but it would be better if shes the one to go because the others will trust her more than him.

He knows he will probably die, but its better that than have those who have already escaped to go back to the hell they were only in the anteroom of it.

Diana doesn't like this. She doesn't know this guy, but she doesn't like this self-sacrificing crap, especially from someone who just saved others, so she stays, and thanks to that(and Dianas co-workers, bc yes, Diana was indeed on an undercover mission) none of them die, the other victims are safe, and the perpetrators are all going to jail. After that Kaeya gets an invitation to work at this organization, and that's how Kaeya and Diana become partners, they're an excellent team too, this leads to a great friendship, both of them always taking care of each other. Even to the point that Diana sometimes just babies Kaeya.

(TBH the way they meet changes a lot in my mind, another way they meet is kaeya being one step away from dying because a surprise attack made on him and Diana saves him, another is kaeya saving Diana from dying, in another kaeya never even left Mond and was just dropped by diluc (also in a very OOC way) and in the mix of this he meets diana in the forest(she has a little house there), and a whole lot more depending on my mood, what i've read recently or just what music i'm listening to)

Shenanigans happen and they start living together in a house in the outskirts of a town in fontaine, the city is too noisy and the factories generate a lot of smoke, so it's the perfect place to live with fresh air and tranquility.

Other shenanigans happen and some people seem to not get the memo that they aren't interested in dating or marrying anyone. It gets annoying to the point Diana is tempt to just kill off the one specific man that keeps up harassing her. She can't even go home in peace!

Kaeya for his part, is annoyed at this specific lady that seems way too interested in having him in apparently a harem or sorts. He knows she has sent people to track him, and its become incredibly tiring having to get rid of every single one of the people following him every day.

This situation makes them agree to be in a fake relationship to get people off their backs (that, and Diana would have a valid excuse to kill two people off). At first it doesn't works as well as they liked, but as more time passed and they were seen everyone together people began to back off, but, by the time this happened, both of them have become used to being a lot in each others proximity and saying sweet words to one another. This was enhanced by kaeya having a breakdown over something (maybe he heard diluc was getting married to somebody???) which made him basically spit out his whole life to Diana.

This made Diana care for him even more. Even become overprotective. In turn, kaeya, seeing as Diana didn't yell, nor tried to kill him or kick him out of their house, feels relief when she instead hugs him while telling him we wasn't at fault for being put in the role his father and his nation put in him when he was just a child. He was not at fault to rebuilt his life and keep that secret the most hidden just to try and live a happy life, and he most certainly, wasn't at fault for trusting diluc, a person he loved with his life, nor the city he protected with all his might while being cavalry captain.

a crying fest occurs that night and thus they're closer than ever.

Time passes, and one peaceful evening on the off day, Diana asks:

"Is it strange I want to have a child?'

Backstory: 

This is WMMAP LPverse so here Athy died her tragic death at 18, Diana(in spirit), even though she REALLY wanted to just leave to just stop the torture of seeing her daughter get treated so horribly by the person she trusted to take care of her, she couldn’t for that same reason. 

So yeah, she was there when they killed Athy, and she was so fucking mad, but let it go when she saw Athys spirit/soul go to her after seeing her. They cried a little and hugged. After that they went to try and find Lily, but after spending days looking, they came to the conclusion that Lilys soul had already moved on. 

They were mad, but not at Lily, but at whatever it was that was keeping them from moving on. Realizing that being mad won’t do them any good, they decide to spend their time leisurely and not bother with anything other that getting to truly meet each other. 

The rest of their time the spend it happily, some bad news were that they were apparently bound to Claude so if he went to another empire they had to go with him begrudgingly, they weren’t repeating the horrible experience of feel like they were suffocating while they were dead.

But anyway, even though they had to follow him, that doesn’t mean they pay attention to whatever he’s doing, they may listen a little bit of whatever they were doing but it was always things without importance, there was one time when Athy thought she heard something to do with “broken treaty” and “marriage” but dismissed it as it being a problem from another country, she was more concentrated on trying to see all the tourist spots in the empire Claude was visiting. 

One day, mother and daughter where taking a peaceful walk around the gardens of one of the palaces when two maids passed by them saying something about “not a good heir” and “no child yet”. Both souls just shrugged them off, even if they were curious, because one of the perks of being dead is that time wasn’t important anymore, and if it was something to do with childbirth, that means that a reasonable amount of time had passed, right? 

In the end they just shrug it off and continue on with their day.

One starry night, the palace grounds were specially silent, and along with that came a strange feeling for both trapped souls. They didn’t know why, but they felt the need to go to the Garnet Palace. on their way there, they saw some people in the dark running towards the palace too. Something was happening, and the more movements they saw in the dark, the more exited they got.

When they finally reached the Garnet Palace, the first thing they saw were the corpses of the guards by the main doors. Continuing on, it was surprising that there wasn’t a sea of blood, strange… unless every servant residing on the Imperial Grounds was in on the ploy. 

“ehehe” the giggle escaped the mouth of the former princess abruptly, spreading it to her mother, making her cover her mouth, trying to cover her sinister smile. 

“Come Athy, we most see how interesting things are~”

And thus they proceeded to continue on their way, later following the clear sounds of commotion. Finally arriving at what seem to be the epicenter of everything, they-

“Athanasia! Diana!” 

Shrugging off her shock, Diana looked in the direction that dreaded voice came from, while putting herself in front of a petrified Athanasia. There, behind Jennette, was what she could only think was the soul of Claude.

He had died. He had died and they still weren’t able to move on. 

What kind of sick joke was this.

“Diana!-”

“LEAVE ME ALONE- AH!”

The terrified shout from Jennette was a good distraction from Claude, and to remind her why both her and Athanasia went there in the first place. 

“Jennette de Alger Obelia, from this night onwards, all the citizens of Obelia will be freed from your reign of death, impoverishment and conflict!”

“OFF WITH HER HEAD!”

Held forcefully on the bloody ground laid a 35 year old Jennette, her face a mix of tears and snot, a far cry of her radiant self that Athanasia and Diana remembered her. 

“Princess Athanasia?”

Wiping her head, she saw Ijekiel Alpheus soul, along with Roger Alpheus and Rosaria Margarita. 

All of them dead. 

Dead.

“hehe”

“Prin-?”

“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

The crazed laughter that erupted from the former princess sent chills to nearly all the other souls in the room. Diana, meanwhile, was had her eyes set on Jennette. Realization flashing through her eyes, she turned to her daughter, and grabbing her arms said:

“It’s her”

 Athanasia looked at her, eyes dark and expression surprised. 

“If they kill her, we can finally move on!”

The deranged looks they gave each other made the others in the room to freeze. None of them had ever seen the looks mother and daughter were giving each other. It was truly a terrifying sight. 

And they continued to watch in horror as both of them went right beside the man who was to behead Jennette and look down at her expectantly. 

And right when Jennettes head got detached from her body, and after all of them saw her fake jeweled eyes turn murky green, Diana and Athanasia finally moved on.

So Diana reincarnates on Teyvat, she remembers nothing of her first life and is just living happily and whatnot. She comes from a special tribe that has the power of weilding a special type of magic (to be disclosed) and that can also generate metal tentacles(?) from their body, the tips of the tentacles act like daggers that can also sweat poison, that depending on what the person feels like, its more or less mortal. 

Another key aspect of this tribe is that they have jeweled eyes, but unlike the Obelia family, the color changed, but the jeweled aspect remains, so Diana has fuchsia jeweled eyes. 

Smth happens and she ends up being the last of her tribe.

rewatching pacific rim and i’m like..... okay, i like the concept, the fact that the female lead is asian and also idris elba and charlie hunnam in one movie is almost too much for me, but there are still several things that pacific rim fails at: 

1. mako has barely any lines. any time they’re in the suit, it’s raleigh speaking and not her. i swear she literally says nothing for that entire fucking final fight scene and raleigh has to save her in the end. they barely even show her doing anything. it’s always a shot of raleigh with her in the background. and she seems to always be at the mercy of a man’s actions ie. under stacker’s superior/parental command or it’s raleigh’s actions/words on her behalf. she may be badass and can fight, but she still appears passive and even subservient to the point of being overshadowed by the male characters. it’s such a racist trope. asian women are always characterised by their obedience to the male characters. they could’ve done so much more with her and given her more agency over her actions.

2. most of the movie is set in hong kong and yet the only asian character with any real speaking lines is mako. everyone else is background noise. all of the main characters are white and male aside from stacker. there was the chinese team but literally, did they even say anything before they died? they have a guy who controls the black market in hong kong and he’s some white dude. they literally said in the movie that hong kong is one of the strongest ports in the world and yet asian people are still not worthy enough of having bigger roles in the movie. 

3. are they so afraid of an interracial relationship? so it’s okay for any two-bit action movie to have the white male lead kiss literally any white female character who he might have even the teensiest connection with at the end of the life-defying movie, but in one where the white male and asian female are literally bonded by their mind and have moments of romantic chemistry/physical attraction and trust each other with their lives and pasts, all they get is some intense staring and forehead to forehead touching. no kiss. i mean sure it’s refreshing to have an action movie where romance isn’t a subplot but why does it have to be the one where one of the leads is a POC? why can’t it be the one with two white people? everyone’s tired of that. give the fucking POCs their romance too. jfc, is it that hard? it wouldn’t have taken away from the movie at all. 

i get what you’re trying to do and kudos on trying to be more diverse but holy shit, do fucking better. 

we are not your props. we are not your obedient little fetishised china dolls. asian people deserve better. 

disclaimer: i don’t hate the movie just fyi. i’ve liked far more racist movies. i’m just being critical of it because someone should be. i do actually really like the concept and the characters and the plot. and you bet your ass i’m gonna be looking at raleigh x mako fanfic where they hopefully get better treated. and you also bet i’m gonna be there with bells on for the sequel with john boyega, which i sincerely hope does a lot better by its poc’s.
