Tim for the 4 headcanons thing

Realistic - the timeline makes it possible that he met Gerry at the Institute in 2014, or at least has seen him in passing (and I do have an angsty WIP about it).

May not be realistic but hilarious - I want him to try and dye his hair. Probably more than once. With varying effects.

Heart-crushing - he has a bunch of things at his flat left from Danny that he keeps stuffed in a box somewhere in a far corner of his wardrobe. Every once in a while he tries to throw it away (esp during s2-3 if he comes home angry after arguing with Jon) but never succeeds. Except probably right before the Unknowing.

Unrealistic but I'm disregarding canon - venturing more into AU territory but! Related to the first one, there's a timeline out there where Gerry saves Danny from the Circus and I have half a dozen ideas for the ensuing shenanigans. Good ending - GerryTim, bad ending - it doesn't change a thing and all of them still die just differently. (Wildcard - GerryDanny which is a crackship that nevertheless has a name and a theme song in my heart but it's not really related to Tim sorry I'm rambling)

Potential AU: go nuts gimmie some Gerry and Tim are Assistants together

Can you believe I never actually thought about an AU like this? I know, I know. So far I've only got a couple of Archivist Gerries. That said:

they get caught making out in the storage. probably more than once;

is this during Gertrude's era? i'm saying it is, so. Gerry knocking on Tim's door in the middle of the night after coming back from one of her missions/assignments because he needs someone to hold him for the next two hours without saying anything. also happens more than once;

actually going out of chronological order but because i like all my aus to have as little character death as possible, including canon, the initial reason they start working together is because Gerry happens to save Danny from the evil clowns and brings him back to Tim's flat;

they catch the tumor in time, please and thank you. cue the recovery period and increasingly protective Tim because that's the first time he sees Gerry this vulnerable;

hm. something about either Mary's or Eric's tape but i don't know if i want it to be Gerry who finds one of them and listens and Tim gets to deal with the aftermath – or if it's Tim who finds it and starts listening until he realizes who's on the tape and then he's torn between telling Gerry or just listening to it in full without him. the first one is tried and true (see: Archivist Gerry AU) but the second one can lead to some more angst and maybe a temporary break up/pause depending on what Tim ends up doing (and i love those because then i get to write them getting back together). endless possibilities, actually.

I have been sketching. So much tma. Here's some expansions on my Jon and Martin designs I've been doing.

Another note I forgor to mention is I love how after hearing Simon go "it's enough to make your hair turn white" about Martin's office in s4 many of us collectively agreed his hair turned white because of his association with the Lonely. The shared consciousness is real and we use it to play hot potato with the communal brain cell dedicated to the sillies.
