I understand your point, but series 1-TAB had SO much queer coding, it’s hard to believe it’s just an accident. One or two incidences, maybe but not what was seen in the show. And I’m not even advocating making the one offs or series 5 exclusively about them as a couple, just show them on their adventures as a couple.

And I should note, I’m not even someone who see queer relationships in everything (I don’t mean this to sound offensive, many LGBT people look for representation in media where ever they can find it, and it’s horrible that they have to look). If the Elementary Holmes and Watson were written like John and Sherlock, I would be shipping the hell out of them.
