16 august 2015 (Sunday) - Jensen and Misha were on a boat trip with their families. Jensen posted two photos from this trip on monday (when he was already back in Vancouver filming 11x04) and Misha posted his photos a few days later. [photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4] I got curious where exactly they were cruising, because even when they were talking about it at conventions, no one metioned any specific place. (Jensen at Mincon 2015 main panel - video & gifs. Misha at Vancon 2015 - video & gifs). So I opened Google Earth, turned 3D terrain on and found the locations.

They were on a trip on Bellingham Bay (Washington State) and the first photo is near Guemes Island:

The second one is near Vendovi Island:

Third one is close to Bellingham city:

And the last one is entering the harbour in Bellingham:

2019 July 23 (Tuesday) - Misha posted this with caption "This guy is always partially-obstructing my view of sunsets." I asked myself - can I locate the exact spot where the plane was? It turn's out that I can - they were about to land in Vancouver:

He published this sunset photo in the morning, so I'm assuming that it was taken the day before (on Monday). From where they were returning to Vancouver? Looking at the previous post at Misha's social media tells me that they were in San Diego at Comic Con (which ended on Sunday).

And there is the fun part: did they had to fly together to Vancouver because season 15 of SPN was starting filming on that week? No. Filming SPN would start the next week, on July 30 and Misha would start posting from set immediately.

So it would made more sense for Misha to fly from San Diego to his home in Bellingham. Instead he opted to fly with Jensen and then do over an hour of driving from Vancouver to Bellingham. But did he even drove to Bellingham on the next day or he stayed in Vancouver (enjoying his pink blanky at Jensen spare bedroom) to Friday? We don't know for sure, but the only other photos, that Misha published between the sunset one and these from SPN set, are from Saturday & Sunday, which he was spending with his kids in Bellingham.

EDIT: Small correction, because I forgot to check some things: 15x01 started filming on July 30, but it wasn't the first episode that was filmed in that season. 15x04 Atomic Monsters (dir. Jensen Ackles) was shoot first (because of Jensen's beard) - between July 22 and July 29. Jared even posted one photo on set from July 22 (monday), so the sunset photo from a plane could have been from sunday evening. Castiel, however, does not appear in that episode.

in 2015 on March 09 Jensen and Misha posted these pictures on their twitter accounts. A few days ago I started wondering in what spot exactly were these photos taken. Looking at these mountains in the background I quickly realized that it must have been somewhere in Delta (BC), but on google street view in that region it's impossible to see these mountains so I had problem to pinpoint the exact location. Then I remembered than Jensen was talking at some convention about these photos - it was VegasCon in 2015 and they were waiting for the crew to get everything ready for a night shoot at some farmhouse by the river, so they went just across the road and had these pictures taken from the berm (embankment of the Fraser river to be precise). The only episode of SPN that was filmed at that time, that had Castiel and some farmhouse, is episode 10x20. The barn in it looks like this:

(the only findable thing on street view were these characteristic trees ont the left, placement of the rest of the trees I gusessed looking on satelite photos).

I watch Cooking Fast and Fresh with West: Episode 1 and I know where in Vancouver Misha was living before he moved out to Bellingham - a step by step guide:

To make it easy, at the beginning Misha says that he is in Canada (I assume it's Vancouver) and it's fall.

Vicky behind the camera and they start the walk to the grocery store by the building with a fountain and a street with a green bike lane. Maybe they live in that building, maybe across the street, maybe they only started recording here? To make search for this place easier I keep watching.

Another valuable info - the grocery store is close.

There is a Starbucks on route to the store:

Inside the building, to enter the store, they need to go up the ramp - another valuable info.

Once inside we get a name of the grocery store - it's SAFEWAY

A quick googling tells me that in Vancouver there is several of these, but luckily the first one (on Robson St) I checked was the right one:

I look to the right and there is even the same Starbucks - later I will go in that direction.

Back to the video - Misha and West end the stroll by the same building where they started:

So I look for a street with a green bike lane in close proximity of the grocery store - there is Alberni Street 200 meters (656 ft) north of the shop:

But is this the building where they were living? And if yes, then which window was theirs? I keep watching the video.

Once in the kitchen we can see that: his apartment is not on the ground level but also not very high, his balcony is facing the street with the green bike lane, there is a characteristic tree across the street, the design of the balcony matches the design of the building with the fountain.

Through the window above the sink we can see the wall of the nearby building and a small tree:

so the first balcony above the ground was Misha's:

It's the place on the right. They are in the narrow passage between the tall and the low building. They were standing next to the white doors.

i don’t think we have talked enough about the fact that wall from this selfie is literally where adam and ruth were yesterday and you could see misha leaving the building and joining them. like jensen really took him out there 3 years ago and pushed him against the wall and did whatever he did and then took a selfie with no room for jesus between them. and we have confirmation now??! like this is HUGE.
