imagine that... You were just minding your own business and playing genshin as you always do when u have free time. you always do farming, collecting, taking pictures of your characters, doing quest as the usual. You hummed being satisfied of your works, you ran up in hills and killing some hiluchurls with your characters of choice. you were a silent player playing this game, like most games u play always being silent and if needed to talk you would. you never really need a reason to talk, what would the character do? reply? that's laughable. Though, the thought of the characters replying is nice, as you can have a conversation with someone your familiar with and don't need to be uncomfortable with each other... you smiled and chuckled at your own delusion, a character wouldn't be programmed do so here, but u don't mind to think of that way.

The character u control is enjoying your presence and your elegant face in the skies. they don't mind being used for your own gain or just to have fun in general. though they wish to hear your voice rather than a sigh and a hum. they have seen a lot of your emotions that are visible on your face but not once voiced it out... until now ofc. 🌙━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━⭐ You were currently doing a quest that involves... ill abort or albert. you HATED that guy with pure sin and anger, u couldn't stand to be around him, you would glare and just avoid him at all cause, especially when u use barbara (or main her), but i guess this was your unlucky day, you had to interact with him. You saw him behind the cathedral... again. agh you knew why he is there but u cant program him to just leave and jump off a bridge to the water,' now what does he want..' you approach him hesitantly just moving your character slowly, like micro slow. agh... When u got close to him u couldn't stand him. like omg he ugly asf, you wish u could actually kill him with your character right now... you grumble and had a frown adored about your face, teyvats skies grew gray and winds grew harsh... the citizens wonder why u are angry and upset.. they couldn't have that right? if you were angry at someone, they should be disposed off quickly... the character u are using glared daggers at abort or albert for making you upset, this man just had to anger their grace with his presence.. before abort finishes his first sentence, you beat boxed that bitch hard. "stfu u looking like that one father that cheated their wife with a fuckin maid and still say your sorry even when u got her pregnant, what's up with you goofy ah outfit? bro looks like a a fuckin cabbage that your hair complements lookin like mayonnaise and what is with your posture? man even madame ping and the other granny grandpas has better back sides, you look like a whole ah gorilla, what's with the hair? did u dye it yourself bc u want to fit in the blonde air way? you look like bakugo madapaking katsuki Walmart version, bro i see others lookin like u in this game but you be the WORST one, bro looks like dottores failed experiment that lived a day to tell the tale. are u fucking jobless to stay here and fucking stalk our sweet deaconess barbara? i aint even surprised by you being jobless, bro i'd be surprise if your not homeless. bro thought he was albert Einstein but bro is just a weirdo stalking mf don't even stare at me with those fucking eyes i wish to PLUCK OUTTTT... You panted from that long speech and walked away from him, not looking back to see his shocked face and a group of acolytes behind him including Jean looking angered and disgusted. You were to upset to do your routine with your character for now as u are tired from yelling at abort... maybe u will ignore his quest and do another later.. you sat them down on one of the cathedral seats outside and planted a kiss on your finger and placed the kissed finger to your characters lips and exited.

After you left, teyvats skies thundered infront of abort, the characters you used has their weapons out ready to murder the fuck out of abort.. i mean.. you wont notice if he is gone right your grace? 🌙━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━⭐ the next time you logged in the game, you dont see abort anymore, like he just.. didnt exist in the first place... but who are u to question? good radiance he is gone, this made your mood happy and hum. this isnt a dream right? this feels 100% real, hah. what a nice reality.

Part two of me coming out of retirement to write about the rock god and his rock husband.

"My luck must've been running mighty high today," Itto said after a spoonful of soup. "You're an amazing cook! I haven't had a nice homemade meal since I left Inazuma!"

Zhongli watched as his guest ate with no short amount of gusto. There was a faint pang in his chest as the image of an older dragon eager devoured a carefully crafted feast, something genuine the two of them had cooked in the little free time they had. Waving the memory away, the adeptus reminded himself that a bit of bamboo shoot soup was nothing compared to the grand meals he created in an era gone by. At least his eccentric guest seemed pleased.

"How long have you been away from your home?" Zhongli asked, taking a sip from his tea.

Itto made an unpleasant face before sighing and shrugging. "Too long, I'd say. But y'know, gotta support my boys as best as I can. Like I mentioned earlier, my traveler buddy told me Liyue Harbor is always lookin' crew either for the local sailors or the miners."

"Are you adept at either?" Zhongli hadn't meant to sound so condescending, and the laugh that escaped his chest was good natured.

Regardless, Itto was unphased. In fact, he seemed pleased at the jab. "I'm a jack of all trades, my guy. Master of none but better than a master of one! If I can help clear away heavy things or mine deep into the rock—then I can easily manage."

Zhongli chuckled, for all the bravado, Itto was at least witty. And not incorrect. To follow one's passions and try everything the world had to offer…well, Zhongli learned later in his life than most that a carefree manner like that was truly the best way to experience life.

"Your traveler companion wouldn't happen to be the Traveler, would they?" Zhongli had an itch that he was correct. "Blond hair, gold eyes?"

"You know them too?" Itto stood up from his seat like an excited child.

"I've been acquainted with them for so time," Zhongli smiled fondly. "Perhaps our meeting is no small coincidence."

"Coincidence! Zhongli, you and me buddy, we're staring at a bona-fide act of destiny!"

"So you think?"

"I SO know!" Itto waved his arms emphatically. "You're telling me that out of everyone in the big nation of Liyue, I just waltz upon one of the Traveler's trusted friends?"

"Ah what if I told you I were their enemy?" Zhongli laughed. "I merely stated we were well-acquainted, not friendly."

Itto waved him off almost immediately. "Nah. I'm too good a judge of character to buy crap like that. Look at you! Prim, proper, super polite, and pretty. I doubt you've done a single evil thing your entire life."

At that, Zhongli winced. Between the thousands of gods torn asunder by his claws and spears, to the beloved friend he sealed beneath the earth, to finally the Gnosis that had been bartered away with the Harbingers…he feared Itto's reaction to his assumption being wrong. His hands gripped his cup, the clay straining beneath his grip.

"Hey…it…was a compliment you know," Itto stammered out, his ruby glance lighting up with some sort of recognition.

Zhongli stared at the reflection in his tea. "I fear you may be too trusting, Itto." He regretted nothing and had made peace with the decisions long before now. Yet the weight of these sins forced his shoulders to slump a bit and his lips to downturn into a thinly pressed frown.

Sighing deeply, Itto sat back down with his hands on his knees. "Look. Back when the Vision Hunt decree was goin' strong, and the Shogun was hunting us down, there were a lot of people who met the bad end of my sword."

A startled sensation flashed through Zhongli’s chest and he looked up at the oni.

"Yeah, I know. Can you believe that a pretty stand-up guy like me with a grim confession like this? I barely can!" Itto shook his head as if he couldn't believe it. "At that time though, being a Vision holder and an oni on top of it? Bah! Let's just say, there were a lot of people who didn't care if they turned in my Vision with its owner or just the head. So I did what I had to."

He paused, hesitancy fleetingly passing over his face as he looked over for some sort of affirmation. Itto faltered, before trying again after an awkward silence.

"You get what I'm trying to say, don't you?"

Zhongli huffed to himself. It'd been such a long time since he'd last gazed into such an earnest ruby glance. "Yes, I do."

"Oh good, cause uh—I have a tendency to ramble and annoy certain types of people, don't ever know how they can get tired of such a banger oni like me but…"

"Where are you staying, Itto?" Zhongli interjected gently, trying to soothe the growing nerves he could sense from his guest.

Itto blinked in surprise, slow to recover. "Ah, I've been sleeping in the pavilions up in the mountains west of here. Free lodging like that is rare to come by."

"And you come into the city every morning?"

"Sure do! It's nowhere near half the trek I make from my gang's camp to wherever the heck I'm needed in Inazuma. I get my steps in daily, that's for sure."

Well, it's no wonder everyone thought he was an adeptus. For the second time that day, Zhongli decided to uproot his everyday life—perhaps on a whim, or perhaps on the broken wish of a god who had lost many things to look forward to.

"Would you like to stay here? While you work of course." Zhongli said. "It's just myself and the company would be welcome."

"Aw man, I don't want to impose or anything!" Itto replied with a surprising kick of hesitancy. "But if there are any heavy-weight chores you need done, I'm more than happy to cover my room and board by cleaning, or chopping firewood, or fishing. You name it. Archon forbid it's said Arataki Itto is a poor and grateless guest!"

Somehow the former Archon doubted he would have believed such slander about the oni to begin with.

"I do most of such menial tasks on my own. But an extra pair of hands would be a pleasant change." For some reason, knowing Itto would stay for the time being, warmed Zhongli’s chest.

First impression: this is from when you were first introducing me to Kabru but I just thought he was a neat lad :) v neat design!

Impression now: LOVE HOW SMART HE IS ???? LOVE HIS MOTIVES??? ABSOLUTE KING HE IS UGH i cant wait to read more for him ahhhh

Favorite moment: I think rn my favorite moment for Kabru is probably when he had to deal with that weird smog thing that made him and his team really confused and thought the other was a monster (i cant remember the details 😔) but that was the first time I got to see him use his big brain and ughghghh

Idea for a story: hmm,,, i don’t have one as of now! i guess bc i haven’t caught up to dunmesh yet

Unpopular opinion: oo i haven’t seen anyone elses opinions tbh jshdjss and really i dont have any weird opinions on him i think! i just think hes smart and i’m excited to see whether or not he fulfills his dreams of taking down the dungeon

Favorite relationship: djnfjdjd i think i like his relationship with Laius the most rn just bc it’s so funny that hes like I HATE HIM and laius has no idea who he is but as u told me their relationship gets better so 👍🏼 lookin forward to it!!

Favorite headcanon: wahhh i dont know any headcanons djnfjd i do like the whole “covers his face when he smiles bc he doesnt want the enemy to read his expressions”

Diluc

First impression: cowboy who owns my gender envy. the genshin impact felix hugo fraldarius. i feel like i should’ve known as soon as i made the felix comparison that i’d like him but sjfjdj OH ALSO I RECOGNIZED HIS VOICE ACTOR SO I WAS SUPER HAPPY TO FINALLY MEET HIM LOL

Impression now: oh my god i love him sm and i miss him everyday bc my luck so poor i cant pull him :( It was really nice reading about his backstory in the manga and I just kinda relate to him jdhdnsn I think dude just needs therapy and some hugs... if he wants anyways lol

Favorite moment: AGH THATS SO HARD CUZ I LIKE ALL THE MOMENTS GRRR,,,, I do like this little moment from Venti’s story quest where he was overhearing this adventurer named Stanley speak about taking his friend’s identity and telling all of his friend’s adventures so he wouldn’t be forgotten. And Diluc says something along the lines of how everyone will remember Stanley’s friend, and it was so nice to see such a sweet side to him... It made me wonder if he was sharing that sentiment because of how the Knights had brushed off everything that happened with his dad to be forgotten ;; ah diluc,,

Idea for a story: i want him and kaeya to get along again;;; i think most people want that but,,, yeah,,,

Unpopular opinion: A lot of people characterize Diluc as someone who doesn’t know how to verbalize his feelings but from my impression, I think Diluc knows how to voice his feelings and he’s seemingly always searching for a way to throw it into ANY opportunity he can get and I love that sm lol Also he voices his feelings in such a roundabout “kingdom hearts” manner it becomes comical. also love that about him :)

Favorite relationship: I like his relationship with kaeya :( they’re just,,, brothers,,, I just think it’s really sweet Kaeya keeps looking after Diluc despite being kinda estranged from each other.... Diluc be nice pls :(

Favorite headcanon: i’m still reeling over diluc knocking out on the couch after a long day of being hero to mondstadt and the maids having to put a blanket on him. I just thought it was a cute thought but agh sir;;; ur poor back
