Sad to hear about the passing of Genesis P Orridge today. P-Orridge was best known for starting Throbble Gristle, the mid-'70s band that invented industrial music and greatly influenced the post-punk, and literary everything else... then started Psychic TV and numerous other huge projects! When I worked at @cainsballroom I was in charge of the entertainment before the show. When P-Orridge, @pigface_official and @flowersfightforsunshine came to town I shuffled them around from record stores to radio stations during the day. That night their show was unlike anything I had ever seen and had a huge impact on me forever.
