Supernatural Cast Episode Count
Like I said in the characters’ rank, since some actors played 2 characters and some characters were played by 2 (or more) actors, the rank changes a little between the 2 versions...So here’s the post for cast members appearances! Or to be precise, the Top 10 Actors with Highest Episode Count in the entire series run:
In percentage:
Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles (100%)
Misha Collins (43,73%)
Jim Beaver, Mark Sheppard (21,10%)
Alexander Calvert (11,93%)
Mark Pellegrino (11,62%)
Samantha Smith (11,01%)
Ruth Connell (10,09%)
David Haydn-Jones (6,12%)
Rob Benedict, Osric Chau (5,81%)
Kim Rhodes (5,50%)
A few notes + Top 15 under the cut!
See the companion post here: [x]
I really tried to make the count accurate by using different sources to get the numbers right, so I hope I didn’t miss anything.
Character Check:
Sam and Dean Winchester
Castiel (+ 3xLucifer and 1xLeviathans) (in other instances Misha played Cass for at least part of the episode, so that’s already counted in)
Bobby Singer (+ 10xA.W. Bobby S.), Crowley
Jack Kline (+ 3xBelphegor)
Lucifer (+ 7xNick)
Mary Winchester (+ 1xEve)
Rowena MacLeod
Arthur Ketch
Chuck Shurley, Kevin Tran (+ 2xA.W. Kevin T.)
Jody Mills
Like in the characters’ tally, I cut off stuff like minimal voice appearances (like voicemail greetings), so that leaves a few episodes out of the count (2 for Misha, 1 for Kim and 2 for Pellegrino).
Misha, Jim, Alex, Pellegrino, Smith, Osric, Felicia and Rachel got a boost over their primary characters because of the other characters they played - specified here in parenthesis
However Pellegrino, Smith, JDM, Genevieve, Emily and Rachel end up lower than their characters since they shared them with other actors (those other actors not reaching top 15)
So! Here’s the Top 15 sans J2M for better visualization:
  11. Curtis Armstrong, Lisa Berry (4,59%)   12. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Genevieve Padalecki (née Cortese), Emily Swallow (3,67%)   13. Richard Speight Jr., Cindy Sampson, Felicia Day (3,36%)   14. Rachel Miner, Ty Olsson (3,06%)   15. Samantha Ferris, Amanda Tapping, Erica Carroll, Keith Szarabajka (2,75%)
This time I did count JDM’s cameo in season 3 for the fake John phone call (but not the voicemail in season 1)
Ty Olsson and Erica Carroll played minor one-off characters before being cast as recurring later on, which gave them 1 and 2 extra episodes respectively.
Character Check:
 11. Metatron, Billie  12. John Winchester, Ruby (2nd Vessel), Amara (Adult)  13. Gabriel, Lisa Braeden, Charlie Bradbury (+ 4xA.W. Charlie B.)  14. Meg (2nd Vessel) (+ 3xThe Empty), Benny (+ 1xEli)  15. Ellen Harvelle, Naomi, Hannah (+ 1xnurse and 1xYoung mother), Donatello Redfield
<< See also the Character Ranking here:[x]! >>
#supernatural#spnedit#jared padalecki#jensen ackles#misha collins#supernatural cast#jim beaver#sam#dean#castiel#bobby singer#crowley#kevin tran#jody mills#mary winchester#Rowena MacLeod#chuck shurley#jack kline#arthur ketch#at least the sum of the charlies puts her here#and the sum of the kevins puts osric in the top 10 \o/#the sum of the bobbys puts jim with mark s#but bobby's bump puts ketch........even higher.....XP#but kim also goes up!#the fact calvert got in the show so late and got feat. THIS much though....crazy#not as crazy as KETCH ofc....but anyway#I had accidentally counted 7.02 as a castiel episode but it was the leviathans one so it's really 139+4 = misha's 143#since people seem interested I think I'll make more charts

57. Qigong or any meditation. Focus on being grateful for everything going good in your life. Seeing the low as a purge of your lower state of being, bringing you more into your higher and authentic self. Listen to Elton John. - Jared T.
58. Sing it out. - Genevieve H.
