#generations always? & it does make me wonder who'd inherit the throne in that case

Concerning your last meta post I do think it’s incredibly interesting how heavy tdp is on generations and not everything can be fixed in one lifetime, the timeskip furthered that Zubeia’s visit being scary to the humans. It’s clear it can’t be rushed
I think the conflicts of the war will definitely still continue even after Aaravos is defeated. I don’t know if it was more like a “our future people” in Janai’s speech about the sun speed when mentioning “our children” but I’d imagine a future half human ruler of an entire elf race would have at least a little conflict.
Right!! Like for the audience, we know the war is continuing / have known Viren was coming back and Claudia was up to something all along. But none of the rest of the main cast did or thought so, except for Rayla. The kingdoms, Xadia and Pentarchy alike, have had two years of 1) peace, 2) ignorance about Aaravos even being a threat, 3) solid (and correct at the time) belief that Viren was dead and things... are still tense, because shit isn’t fixed overnight.
It’s one of the reasons why I think we may get two more timeskips, one of which being an epilogue of the main kids 10+ years later (which would put Callum and Rayla at like, 28 youngest, wildly enough) or even further, with Zym being a grown and very old Archdragon telling the story of his friends from long ago and that peace has lasted
