i don't know if you've thought abt this before... but like genderfluid usopp x sanji??? sanji having a crisis bcs usopp started dressing more femininely one day and sanji just had to. backtrack. and now usopp switches between being more masc and more fem from day to day and sanji is just having an absolute meltdown not undertanding abything anymore bcs HOLY WOW

WAIT THIS IS SO GOOD????? I've always seen Usopp as unlabeled, but genderfluid!Usopp opens so many doors- Sanji having a whole crisis because, well, he feels things™ when Usopp is more fem somedays and ofc he's extremely supportive and acts around her the same way he acts around Robin and Nami, but- But it's just weird, right? Because Usopp comes out as genderfluid during Skypiea or right after, and of course, Sanji starts developing feelings for them around Water 7. Sanji tells himself it's only whenever Usopp acts more fem, but that's bullshit because he still feels that way when Usopp looks the same way he has always looked. And Usopp is still Usopp. So Sanji is trying to understand his heart while he makes the most of Usopp's fem days to express his love without it seeming weird. Also, Sanji treating Usopp the same way he treats the girls gives her so much gender euphoria she could cry. He's so nice to her even though he's having a whole crisis. So you have two idiots pining for each other and Sanji going through a sexuality AND a gender crisis. Because Usopp coming out as genderfluid makes him realize that... That maybe he could be like that too? The time skip helps them a lot to figure some stuff out... But yeah, at first everything is a mess and Sanji is having issues trying to understand himself and his feelings. But it's also extremely hilarious-
